- This agile Connection can for example consist of a chain, a hinge or a equivalent elastic plastic tape exist.
- An essential feature of the dimensionally stable, reclosable hollow body is the presence of one or preferably more permanent ones Openings in its outer wall, these openings being made on one side should be.
- the term "one-sided" does not set this in this case Presence of a real side and thus an angular body ahead, but should only mean here that the body is mentally represented by a Partition surface can be divided into two equal parts so that on one of the two emerging sides has more openings than on the others. These openings are permanent and significantly smaller than that Filling opening of the hollow body, so that an escape of the unchanged bag is not possible from these openings.
- the size of the hollow body is chosen so that its interior of the sachet that contains the amount of detergent required for a wash cycle or contains washing aids, to less than 90%, preferably to less than 75% and in particular less than 50% but preferably more is filled in as 20%.
- the hollow body In the preferred application in drum washing machines is the hollow body with put the textile in the washing drum and there from the inflowing Water and later reached by the wash liquor during the washing process.
- the water that has entered the hollow body through the openings leaves not immediately because of the one-sided arrangement of the openings, but is first in the hollow body, due to its movement in the Washing drum, circulated. Solves in contact with the ingressed water the wall material of the bag and also gives the contents of the bag free for dissolution in water. Due to the delayed exchange of the im Hollow body water or the detergent solution with the surrounding water, the detergent is released into the wash liquor gradually and therefore very evenly.
- the invention has used hollow body in a special embodiment in its interior a perforated partition, which is attached so that its interior in is divided into two parts, one of which is the one in the bag Detergent is introduced, limited by an outer wall of the hollow body which has fewer openings than the outer wall, the other part of the interior limited.
- the part of the room that holds the detergent is replaced by a Outer wall limited without openings. In this embodiment, it penetrates Water in the hollow body preferably first in the part that has no Contains detergent, and only gets from this antechamber through the perforated Partition to the detergent in the bag.
- the partition can do this be firmly connected to the hollow body or alternatively Form be attached in the hollow body.
- the partition with the Part of the hollow body firmly connected, which does not hold the bag is determined.
- This part preferably comprises 20 to 50% of the hollow body content. The above applies to the degree of filling of the other hollow part with detergent the hollow body according to the specified conditions.
- perforation of the partition can consist of one or more there are small openings that can be attached isolated or else can be designed like a screen or like a grid.
- the molded body can be made from any dimensionally stable material, insofar as this material is unbreakable and corrosion-resistant under the conditions mentioned above is.
- the hollow body can be made entirely or partially of metal or ceramic, but plastic is preferably used for its manufacture used.
- Plastics are particularly preferred, which are the production allow the hollow body in the injection molding process, in particular polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). Of these materials Polypropylene particularly preferred. If necessary, the individual can also Parts of the hollow body are made of different materials.
- Figure 1 shows in a schematic form a usable according to the invention Hollow body in the form of a hollow sphere, consisting of two approximately the same size Parts (1, 2) which are movably connected with an elastic band (3).
- the upper of the two hollow spherical parts (1) has openings in its outer wall (4) in the process according to the invention, the inflow and outflow of water or allow wash liquor.
- the lower part (2) of the hollow ball has no such Openings in its outer wall.
- Figure 1 shows the hollow sphere in the opened position Shape; when the ball is closed, one is not shown here Locking mechanism ensures the reversible cohesion of the two hollow ball parts.
- Figure 2 shows a hollow body which can be used according to the invention and which is separated from the hollow body of Figure 1 by the presence of a perforated partition (5) in differentiates its inside.
- the perforated partition is (5) firmly and all around with the part (1) of the hollow ball connected in its outer wall carries the openings (4).
- the second part (2) of the hollow sphere is intended to hold the detergent pouch or pouches.
- the hollow sphere is shown in an unfolded form, although here too a not locking mechanism shown ensures that after folding both Ball halves reversible and sufficiently firm for the washing process are connected.
- the method according to the invention also includes those variants in which not the total amount of detergent required for the wash cycle in one Bag is included, but this amount of detergent on multiple bags is distributed, which is then placed together in a hollow body or in several Hollow bodies are distributed.
- the above volume ratios in the interior of the hollow body then apply to the entirety of the bags received.
- the individual bags can have the same content, if for example because of particularly heavy pollution, a double or triple dosage of the detergent is desired.
- the individual bags but can also contain different detergent ingredients if the intention is to use individual active ingredients only in special wash cycles to use, but not with others. In this way, the The composition of the wash liquor by the consumer within wide limits to be controlled.
- the placement of individual detergent components in separate pouches also allows chemically incompatible with each other Substances that cannot be stored together in one Use a washing bath.
- the method according to the invention is therefore extremely versatile for all detergent ingredients individually as well as for preparations by Washing aids and complete detergents from several active ingredients suitable. In all cases, the method according to the invention is extremely effective simple tools for a precisely controllable resolution of the Detergent ingredients and their optimal distribution in the wash liquor.
- the advantages of portion-wise packaging are used at the same time but avoided the disadvantages of local overdosing.
- the inventive method was in a commercial drum washing machine with a pasty detergent containing bleach carried out.
- the detergent was in polyvinyl alcohol tubular bags packed in 170 g portions. 1 bag per wash introduced a spherical hollow body and then this hollow body to the laundry to be washed in the washing drum before starting the washing process inserted.
- the spherical hollow body consisted of two hemispheres of the same size Polyethylene that is movably connected with a plastic hinge goods and can be reversibly closed using a tongue and groove mechanism could.

- the washing process after the prewash and after the main wash was interrupted was interrupted, the hollow body was removed and the amount of detergent still present was determined by weighing. It was found that about a third of the detergent had gone into solution in the prewash cycle and the rest of the detergent was completely removed from the hollow body in the main wash cycle.
- the rinsed laundry was then spun, dried and examined for the cleaning result: There were no detergent residues on the textiles; the cleaning result on the textiles was completely uniform, and there were no spot-shaped lightenings on the colored textile pieces.
Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for dosing detergents in the washing of textiles in the household and in the commercial sector, in which the detergents are used in pre-portioned form.
Detergents or washing aids are used today in the usual textile washing processes dosed in such a way that these agents to the inflowing Adds water or it from the inflowing water into the actual wash tank can be flushed in. Because there are difficulties of all kinds as an alternative, especially for washing in drum washing machines, have been proposed to detergents or detergents in individual Portions packed in sachets to give directly to the washroom wherever the wall material of the bags either completely dissolves in water or the bags by the water or the slowly increasing temperature be opened. Difficulties arise from the fact that when opening the bag, the contents of the bag are concentrated in a small form Place of a piece of textile can act and in this way, especially at colored textiles, unwanted blotchy or at least uneven effects can be observed. This is particularly true Dimensions for gel and paste detergents. Another one Alternatively, the detergent ingredients in the desired amount dimensionally stable, porous hollow bodies filled and then these hollow bodies together with the textile goods in the washing container. In the course of the rotational movement then the detergent active ingredients through the openings of the hollow body gradually drained from the water. To be slow and possible Ensure even outflow of the detergent ingredients are for For this purpose, hollow bodies have been designed with a very necessary design. In In any case, when using these refillable hollow bodies, an exact one is Measurement of the detergent ingredients by the consumer necessary.
In this context, the task to be solved was to find a dosing method that it makes it possible to use pre-portioned detergents while doing so the disadvantages of an uneven effect and damage from local Avoid overdosing on the textiles. This procedure should also include be as simple as possible.
The subject of EP-A-0 780 508 is a dosing store for receiving and dispensing a liquid, pasty or tablet-shaped laundry treatment agent for Use in a washing machine Washing process. The dosing tank consists of a pot connected to a Lid, the pot or lid having inlet and outlet openings.
Derartige Beutel werden in die Dosierkammer oder in den Geschirrkorb der Maschine eingelegt.EP-A-0 593 952 describes a bag made of water-soluble film material Inclusion of portioned detergent for automatic Dishwashers. The water solubility of the film material is such that the detergent into the rinse within the time period Washing liquid is released. Such bags are in the metering chamber or placed in the crockery basket of the machine.
In contrast, the present invention relates to a method for dosing pre-portioned textile detergent using a dimensionally stable, reclosable hollow body (1, 2), the one side in its outer wall or has a plurality of permanent openings (4), the closed hollow body together with its contents is brought into contact with the water while moving Production of the wash liquor is used, characterized in that the detergent packed in portions in a bag made of water-soluble film into the hollow body is introduced.
The new method is suitable for dosing both liquid and powdery or blocky solid detergents or washing aids, but particularly good for dosing viscous, gel-like or pasty Detergents. The latter detergents in particular have so far only been able to be metered with the help of complex premixers, so that their use is essentially was limited to large continuous washing machines, one justified such investment.
In principle, the material from which the sachets are made can be can be any water-soluble film-forming organic polymer materials. Such materials are preferably used, which are from ecological Reasons can be safely discharged with the waste water. Films made of polyvinyl alcohol and partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl acetate, and copolymers of vinyl alcohol with monomers other than vinyl acetate and partially hydrolyzed copolymers of Vinyl acetate with monomers other than vinyl alcohol. Particularly preferred become partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl acetates, because of the degree of hydrolysis Solution speed of the film can be varied within wide limits.
Also the shape of the bag and the thickness of the film material used can be varied within wide limits, so that the opening behavior of the Bags can be predetermined in wide areas.
In the case of the reclosable hollow body, which is used to accommodate the portions packaged washing or washing aids, it is a dimensionally stable Hollow body with one or more openings on one side in its outer wall having. Dimensionally stable in this context means that the hollow body during the washing process in the washing machine drum under the Forces and conditions occurring there are practically not deformed. Preferably the hollow body should not have any sharp outer corners and edges have, which during constant circulation of the hollow body together with the Textiles in the washing drum to damage delicate textiles could lead. This means that, for example, cubes, tetrahedra or cuboids in the conventional form in the process according to the invention is preferably not should be used, but probably such bodies, their corners and edges are only rounded to the extent that the original shape of the body is still remains recognizable. Hollow bodies which do not have any particular preference are used have flat outer surfaces and in particular those which are essentially Have spherical shape. The hollow body should be at least one resealable Have opening that must be so large that the bags in which the Detergent or washing aids is easily inside the Hollow body can be inserted. In the simplest case, this opening can after inserting the bag with a waterproof adhesive tape be closed. However, the hollow body is preferably composed of two or if necessary, consist of several parts, each matching one another Have reversibly effective fasteners that allow the parts after the detergent has been added to the hollow body. For example, the hollow body can have a screw-in cover be provided or with a lid that is opened by a snap mechanism the other part of the hollow body can be attached. Preferably there is the hollow body consists of two parts of approximately the same size, which are reversible can be put together. It is particularly preferred to have a hollow body to use, which consists of two movably connected parts, which in the manner described above for closing and opening the hollow body can be put together and separated again. This agile Connection can for example consist of a chain, a hinge or a equivalent elastic plastic tape exist.
An essential feature of the dimensionally stable, reclosable hollow body is the presence of one or preferably more permanent ones Openings in its outer wall, these openings being made on one side should be. The term "one-sided" does not set this in this case Presence of a real side and thus an angular body ahead, but should only mean here that the body is mentally represented by a Partition surface can be divided into two equal parts so that on one of the two emerging sides has more openings than on the others. These openings are permanent and significantly smaller than that Filling opening of the hollow body, so that an escape of the unchanged bag is not possible from these openings. Water should pass through these openings and wash liquor can flow through the outer wall of the hollow body, wherein the flow velocity by the number and size of the openings in wide Limits can be determined. These openings should preferably be like this be attached that all these openings on one side of the Hollow body. The shape of the openings can largely be freely designed become. The size of the hollow body is chosen so that its interior of the sachet that contains the amount of detergent required for a wash cycle or contains washing aids, to less than 90%, preferably to less than 75% and in particular less than 50% but preferably more is filled in as 20%.
In the method according to the invention, the one filled with the detergent pouch and reclosed hollow bodies moving with the water in Bring contact that is used to produce the wash liquor. In the preferred application in drum washing machines is the hollow body with put the textile in the washing drum and there from the inflowing Water and later reached by the wash liquor during the washing process. The water that has entered the hollow body through the openings leaves not immediately because of the one-sided arrangement of the openings, but is first in the hollow body, due to its movement in the Washing drum, circulated. A direct contact between the undiluted detergent and the textile is avoided. By choosing the The number of openings and the size of the openings can reduce the delivery speed of the Detergent taking into account its solubility and the Water temperature adapted to the needs of the washing process within wide limits become. These advantages are particularly evident when used of powdery, viscous, gel or pasty detergents as Bag contents.
For better control of the delayed solubility, the invention has used hollow body in a special embodiment in its interior a perforated partition, which is attached so that its interior in is divided into two parts, one of which is the one in the bag Detergent is introduced, limited by an outer wall of the hollow body which has fewer openings than the outer wall, the other part of the interior limited. In a particularly preferred variant of this embodiment the part of the room that holds the detergent is replaced by a Outer wall limited without openings. In this embodiment, it penetrates Water in the hollow body preferably first in the part that has no Contains detergent, and only gets from this antechamber through the perforated Partition to the detergent in the bag. This makes it possible not just by the number, size and arrangement of the openings in the Outer wall of the hollow body, but also by the type of perforation in the Partition to control the dissolution rate. The partition can do this be firmly connected to the hollow body or alternatively Form be attached in the hollow body. Preferably, the partition with the Part of the hollow body firmly connected, which does not hold the bag is determined. This part preferably comprises 20 to 50% of the hollow body content. The above applies to the degree of filling of the other hollow part with detergent the hollow body according to the specified conditions. The In the simplest case, perforation of the partition can consist of one or more there are small openings that can be attached isolated or else can be designed like a screen or like a grid. Here too, numbers determine and size of the openings the flow rate and thus the Delay effect in the dissolution of the detergent in the wash liquor. The Interaction of perforated partition inside the hollow body with the one-sided attachment of the openings in its outer wall leads to a particularly even distribution of the detergent in the wash liquor.
The molded body can be made from any dimensionally stable material, insofar as this material is unbreakable and corrosion-resistant under the conditions mentioned above is. In principle, the hollow body can be made entirely or partially of metal or ceramic, but plastic is preferably used for its manufacture used. Plastics are particularly preferred, which are the production allow the hollow body in the injection molding process, in particular polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). Of these materials Polypropylene particularly preferred. If necessary, the individual can also Parts of the hollow body are made of different materials.
Figure 1 shows in a schematic form a usable according to the invention Hollow body in the form of a hollow sphere, consisting of two approximately the same size Parts (1, 2) which are movably connected with an elastic band (3). The upper of the two hollow spherical parts (1) has openings in its outer wall (4) in the process according to the invention, the inflow and outflow of water or allow wash liquor. The lower part (2) of the hollow ball has no such Openings in its outer wall. Figure 1 shows the hollow sphere in the opened position Shape; when the ball is closed, one is not shown here Locking mechanism ensures the reversible cohesion of the two hollow ball parts.
Figure 2 shows a hollow body which can be used according to the invention and which is separated from the hollow body of Figure 1 by the presence of a perforated partition (5) in differentiates its inside. In the present case, the perforated partition is (5) firmly and all around with the part (1) of the hollow ball connected in its outer wall carries the openings (4). The second part (2) of the hollow sphere is intended to hold the detergent pouch or pouches. Also in Figure 2 the hollow sphere is shown in an unfolded form, although here too a not locking mechanism shown ensures that after folding both Ball halves reversible and sufficiently firm for the washing process are connected.
The method according to the invention also includes those variants in which not the total amount of detergent required for the wash cycle in one Bag is included, but this amount of detergent on multiple bags is distributed, which is then placed together in a hollow body or in several Hollow bodies are distributed. The above volume ratios in the interior of the hollow body then apply to the entirety of the bags received. In this variant, the individual bags can have the same content, if for example because of particularly heavy pollution, a double or triple dosage of the detergent is desired. The individual bags but can also contain different detergent ingredients if the intention is to use individual active ingredients only in special wash cycles to use, but not with others. In this way, the The composition of the wash liquor by the consumer within wide limits to be controlled. The placement of individual detergent components in separate pouches also allows chemically incompatible with each other Substances that cannot be stored together in one Use a washing bath. There is also the option of choosing film materials that dissolve at different speeds for individual bag ingredients a greater delay in dissolution than for the contents of other bags adjust. The method according to the invention is therefore extremely versatile for all detergent ingredients individually as well as for preparations by Washing aids and complete detergents from several active ingredients suitable. In all cases, the method according to the invention is extremely effective simple tools for a precisely controllable resolution of the Detergent ingredients and their optimal distribution in the wash liquor. The advantages of portion-wise packaging are used at the same time but avoided the disadvantages of local overdosing.
The inventive method was in a commercial drum washing machine with a pasty detergent containing bleach carried out. The detergent was in polyvinyl alcohol tubular bags packed in 170 g portions. 1 bag per wash introduced a spherical hollow body and then this hollow body to the laundry to be washed in the washing drum before starting the washing process inserted.
Die Wandstärke des Hohlkörpers betrug etwa 2 mm, der äußere Durchmesser 80 mm.The spherical hollow body consisted of two hemispheres of the same size Polyethylene that is movably connected with a plastic hinge goods and can be reversibly closed using a tongue and groove mechanism could. For easier opening and closing of the hollow body were on the outside on both halves of the ball on the opposite side of the hinge Side knob-shaped elevations attached. Was in the upper hemisphere according to Figure 3, a perforated partition wall with a tight fit attached so that it separated a spherical segment that is about 40% of the spherical volume included. The outer wall of this separated spherical part was 50 circular holes with a diameter of 4 mm. In the partition there were 30 circular holes with a diameter of 2 mm. The The outer wall of the lower hemisphere had no openings. The wall thickness the hollow body was about 2 mm, the outer diameter 80 mm.
To check the detergent release from the hollow body, the washing process after the prewash and after the main wash was interrupted, the hollow body was removed and the amount of detergent still present was determined by weighing. It was found that about a third of the detergent had gone into solution in the prewash cycle and the rest of the detergent was completely removed from the hollow body in the main wash cycle. The rinsed laundry was then spun, dried and examined for the cleaning result:
There were no detergent residues on the textiles; the cleaning result on the textiles was completely uniform, and there were no spot-shaped lightenings on the colored textile pieces.
For comparison, the washing procedure was repeated so that the same Amount of this detergent also in an equal polyvinyl alcohol bag immediately packed in the washing drum without using the perforated hollow body was added. In this case too Washing process after completion of the prewash and completion of the Main wash interrupted and the whereabouts of the detergent detected. It was found that after the pre-wash, most of the Detergent in the form of a solidified lump on a piece of textile clung. After the main wash was still a significant part of that Detergent used undissolved and stuck in the form of several small ones Lumps on the textiles. Even after rinsing, spinning and Drying the textiles leftovers of the detergent on the textiles to notice. The cleaning was already uneven with the naked eye recognizable and some of the dyed textiles showed blotchy lightenings on.
