Abstract

Bei einer Verpackung (10) mit einem eine Öffnung (34) zur Entnahme eines Füllgutes (32) freigebenden Aufreissverschluss mit einer Aufreisshilfe weist die Verpackung zumindest im Öffnungsbereich übereinanderliegende, voneinander gelöste oder lösbare, einen äusseren (20) und einen inneren Verpackungsteil (22) bildende Lagen von Verpackungsmaterial auf. Die Aufreisshilfe ist am äusseren Verpackungsteil (20) so angeordnet, dass der äussere Verpakkungsteil vom inneren Verpackungsteil in einem Abstand (a) zur Öffnung getrennt und im Öffnungsbereich der innere Verpackungsteil freigelegt wird. Der beim Aufreissen der Verpackung freigelegte innere Verpackungsteil (22) ist keimfrei, so dass sich die Verpackung zur Einnahme von trink- und/oder essbaren Füllgütern aus der Verpackung direkt in den Mund eignet. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung mit einem eine Öffnung zur Entnahme eines Füllgutes freigebenden Aufreissverschluss mit einer Aufreisshilfe, wobei der Öffnungsbereich nach dem Aufreissen der Verpackung zum Einführen in den Mund zur direkten Einnahme des Füllgutes geeignet ist.
Bekannte flexible Verpackungen für Schokoladeriegel, Bisquits, Fruchtzwerge und dgl. essbare Süssigkeiten umfassen eine schlauchartige Umhüllung aus einem beidends über eine Klebe- oder Siegelnaht verschlossene Umhüllung aus einem Folienmaterial. Zur Entnahme des Füllgutes wird die Umhüllung an einem Ende aufgerissen, wobei der Aufreissvorgang üblicherweise durch eine Aufreisshilfe in Form einer Kerbe oder einer Schwächungslinie unterstützt wird. Durch die so entstandene Öffnung der schlauchartigen Verpackung kann das an der Innenseite der Umhüllung gleitende Füllgut durch entsprechendes Drücken am verschlossenen Ende durch die Öffnung aus der Verpackung geschoben werden. Diese Verpackungsart eignet sich insbesondere zur direkten Einnahme des Füllgutes, wobei der Öffnungsbereich nach dem Aufreissen der Verpackung in bzw. an den Mund geführt wird. Hierbei lässt es sich kaum vermeiden, dass z.B. nach einer Berührung an der Oberfläche der Verpackung anhaftende Bakterien und dgl. Krankheitserreger in den Mund gelangen. Die Gefahr einer Ansteckung ist insbesondere bei Kindern als hauptsächliche Konsumenten derart verpackter Süssigkeiten nicht zu unterschätzen.
Der Erfindung liegt deshalb die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Verpackung der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, die nach dem Öffnen ohne Gefahr einer Kontaminierung mit Fremdkeimen zur direkten Einnahme des Füllgutes an oder in den Mund geführt werden kann.
Zur erfindungsgemässen Lösung der Aufgabe führt, dass die Verpackung zumindest im Öffnungsbereich übereinanderliegende, voneinander gelöste oder lösbare, einen äusseren und einen inneren Verpackungsteil bildende Lagen von Verpackungsmaterial aufweist und die Aufreisshilfe am äusseren Verpakkungsteil so angeordnet ist, dass der äussere Verpackungsteil vom inneren Verpackungsteil in einem Abstand zur Öffnung getrennt und im Öffnungsbereich der innere Verpackungsteil freigelegt wird.
Beim Aufreissen der erfindungsgemässen Verpackung wird somit im Öffnungsbereich der kontaminierte äussere Verpackungsteil entfernt, wodurch der keimfreie innere Verpackungsteil freigelegt wird. Das auf diese Weise entstehende "aseptische Mundstück" kann deshalb ohne Gefahr einer Infektion zur Entnahme des Füllgutes direkt an oder in den Mund geführt werden.
Bei einer ersten Ausführungsvariante kann der innere Verpackungsteil ein rohr- oder schlauchförmiges, ausserhalb des Öffnungsbereichs mit dem äusseren Verpackungsteil verbundenes Einsatzteil sein. Das Einsatzteil kann sich jedoch auch über die gesamte Länge der Verpackung erstrecken und muss in diesem Fall nicht zwingend am äusseren Verpackungsteil haften.
Eine bevorzugte zweite Ausführungsvariante der erfindungsgemässen Verpakkung umfasst ein aus einer gegen das Innere der Verpackung gerichteten Folie und aus einer gegen das Äussere der Verpackung gerichteten äusseren Folien aufgebautes Folienlaminat, wobei die innere und die äussere Folie im Öffnungsbereich nicht oder mit einer im Vergleich zur übrigen Verpackung geringeren Kraft aneinander haftet. Hierbei kann es zweckmässig sein, zur Bildung der Öffnung an der inneren Folie eine zweite Aufreisshilfe vorzusehen.
Die Aufreisshilfen umfassen insbesondere Kerben, linienförmige Teilschnitte oder Perforationen und dgl. Schwächungslinien.
Ein bevorzugtes Anwendungsgebiet für die erfindungsgemässe Verpackung liegt im Verpacken von trink- und/oder essbaren Füllgütern, welche zur direkten Einnahme aus der Verpackung in den Mund geeignet sind. Beispiele für, Verpackungen sind neben den eingangs genannten schlauchförmigen Umhüllungen auch Beutel für Flüssigkeiten bzw. Getränke sowie für pastöse Füllgüter. Bei den letztgenannten Verpackungen ist der Öffnungsbereich rohr- oder schlauchartig ausgebildet.
Weiter Vorteile, Merkmale und Einzelheiten der Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung bevorzugter Ausführungsbeispiele sowie anhand der Zeichnung; diese zeigt schematisch in

Eine in Fig. 1 dargestellte Verpackung 10 für beispielsweise Schokoladeriegel weist eine schlauchförmige Umhüllung 12 aus einem folienförmigen Werkstoff auf. Die beiden Enden der Umhüllung 12 sind durch Siegelnähte 14, 16 verschlossen.
Wie in Fig. 3 detailliert dargestellt, umfasst die Umhüllung 12 ein aus einer gegen das Innere der Verpackung gerichteten inneren Folie 22 und aus einer gegen das Äussere der Verpackung gerichteten äusseren Folie 20 aufgebautes Folienlaminat 18. Die beiden Folien 20, 22 sind über einen Permanentkleber 24 zum Folienlaminat 18 verbunden, wobei im Öffnungsbereich der Verpakkung 10 eine klebstofffreie Zone 30 vorliegt. Diese klebstofffreie Zone 30 ist von einer ersten Schwächungslinie 26 als erste Aufreisshilfe in der äusseren Folie 20 und von einer zweiten Schwächungslinie 28 als zweite Aufreisshilfe in der inneren Folie 22 begrenzt. Hierbei liegt die zweite Schwächungslinie 28 in der inneren Folie 22 nahe dem durch die Siegelnaht 14 verschlossenen Ende der Verpackung 10 und die erste Schwächungslinie 26 in der äusseren Folie 20 in einem Abstand a zur zweiten Schwächungslinie 28.
Zum Öffnen der Verpackung 10 wird deren durch die Siegelnaht 14 verschlossenes Ende ergriffen und von der übrigen Verpackung weggerissen. Bei diesem Vorgang wird die äussere Folie 20 bei der ersten Schwächungslinie 26 und die innere Folie 22 bei der zweiten Schwächungslinie 28 durchtrennt.
Fig. 2 zeigt die geöffnete Verpackung 10, die im Öffnungsbereich aus der inneren Folie 22 der klebstofffreien Zone 30 besteht. Die zweite Schwächungslinie 28 entspricht dem äusseren Rand 36 der entstandenen Öffnung 34. Das auf diese Weise entstandene, aus der inneren Folie 22 bestehende ,,Mundstück" der Länge a ist keimfrei und kann deshalb ohne gesundheitliche Bedenken zur Entnahme des Füllgutes - beispielsweise eines Schokoladeriegels 32 - direkt in den Mund genommen werden.
Eine in Fig. 4 dargestellte Beutelverpackung für z.B. Getränke besteht aus einer Folie oder einem Folienlaminat 42, das im Öffnungsbereich 44 schlauchförmig ausgebildet ist. Der Öffnungsbereich 44 ist auf gleiche Weise wie das offene Ende der schlauchförmigen Umhüllung von Fig. 1 über eine Siegelnaht 46 verschlossen. Im Gegensatz zu der in Fig. 1 gezeigten Ausführungsform ist hier keine klebstofffreie Zone zur Trennung von zwei Folienteilen des Laminates 42 vorgesehen. Anstelle der inneren Folie 22 der Verpackung 10 von Fig. 1 ist hier ein rohr- oder schlauchförmiges Einsatzteil 48 in die schlauchförmige Umhüllung im Öffnungsbereich 44 eingesetzt. Hierbei bildet das gegen das verschlossene Ende des schlauchförmigen Öffnungsbereichs 44 weisende Ende des Einsatzteils 48 die spätere Öffnung 34 der Beutelverpackung 40. An seinem anderen Ende ist das Einsatzteil 48 ausserhalb des Öffnungsbereichs über eine Klebstoffschicht 52 mit der Folie 42 verklebt. Im Abstand a zum Rand 36 der Öffnung 34 des Einsatzteils 48 ist die Folie 42 mit einer Schwächungslinie 50 als Aufreisshilfe versehen.
Zum Öffnen der Beutelverpackung 40 wird die Folie 42 im Bereich der Siegelnaht 46 ergriffen und abgerissen. Bei diesem Vorgang wird die Folie 42 an der Schwächungslinie 50 getrennt, so dass nach dem Wegreissen der Folie 42 im Öffnungsbereich das Einsatzteil 48 über die Länge a als keimfreies "Mundstück" an der Verpackung verbleibt.
Als Folienlaminate zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemässen Verpackungen eignen sich beispielsweise Laminate 18 mit der inneren Folie 22 aus beispielsweise Polyethylen, Polypropylen, deren Copolymeren oder lonomeren und der äusseren Folie 20, die selbst eine Verbundfolie sein kann, mit einer äusseren Teilfolie aus beispielsweise orientiertem Polyethylenterephthalat (PET) oder orientiertem Polypropylen (oPP) und einer inneren Teilfolie aus beispielsweise orientiertem Polyamid oder Aluminium. Alternativ kann die innere Teilfolie metallisiert oder mit einer keramischen Schicht wie SiOx versehen sein. Der Permanentkleber 24 zwischen der äusseren Folie 20 und der inneren Folie 22 kann beispielsweise ein Kleber auf der Basis von Polyurethan sein. Anstelle eines Permanentkleberauftrags kann die Verbindung der äusseren Folie 20 mit der inneren Folie 22 auch mittels einer Extrusionsbeschichtung durchgeführt werden.
Die zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemässen Verpackung geeigneten Folienlaminate sind nicht auf die oben erwähnten Beispiele beschränkt und werden aufgrund der an die Verpackung gestellten Anforderungen wie z.B. Siegelbarkeit, mechanischer Schutz und Stabilität, Aroma-, Sauerstoff,- und Wasserdampfbarrieren, Bedruckbarkeit, thermische Stabilität usw. ausgewählt.

Claims (7)

  1. Verpackung mit einem eine Öffnung (34) zur Entnahme eines Füllgutes freigebenden Aufreissverschluss mit einer Aufreisshilfe (26,50), wobei der Öffnungsbereich nach dem Aufreissen der Verpackung zum Einführen in den Mund zur direkten Einnahme des Füllgutes geeignet ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    die Verpackung zumindest im Öffnungsbereich übereinanderliegende, voneinander gelöste oder lösbare, einen äusseren (20,42) und einen inneren Verpackungsteil (22,48) bildende Lagen von Verpackungsmaterial aufweist und die Aufreisshilfe am äusseren Verpackungsteil so angeordnet ist, dass der äussere Verpackungsteil (20,42) vom inneren Verpackungsteil (22,48) in einem Abstand (a) zur Öffnung (34) getrennt und im Öffnungsbereich der innere Verpackungsteil (22,48) freigelegt wird.
  2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der innere Verpackungsteil ein rohr- oder schlauchförmiges, ausserhalb des Öffnungsbereichs mit dem äusseren Verpackungsteil verbundenes Einsatzteil (48) ist.
  3. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der innere Verpackungsteil ein sich im wesentlichen über die gesamte Länge der Verpackung erstreckendes Einsatzteil (48) ist.

Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ein aus einer gegen das Innere der Verpackung gerichteten inneren Folie (22) und aus einer gegen das Äussere der Verpackung gerichteten äusseren Folie (20) aufgebautes Folienlaminat (18) umfasst, wobei die innere und die äussere Folie im Öffnungsbereich nicht oder mit einer im Vergleich zur übrigen Verpackung geringeren Kraft aneinander haften.
  5. Verpackung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zur Bildung der Öffnung (34) an der inneren Folie (22) eine zweite Aufreisshilfe (28) angeordnet ist.

  7. Verwendung einer Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6 zum Verpacken von zur direkten Einnahme aus der Verpackung in den Mund geeigneten trink- und/oder essbaren Füllgütern.
