In Figur 1 ist die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung in einer Seitenansicht dargestellt, wobei mit 1 die gesamte Vorrichtung bezeichnet ist. Die Vorrichtung weist eine untere Plattform 2 und einen darauf angeordneten Ständer 3 auf, an dem ein Schwenkarm 4 gelenkig gelagert ist. Der Schwenkarm 4 weist ein Knickgelenk 8 auf, das den Schwenkarm in einen ersten Bereich 5 und ein freies Ende 6 des Schwenkarms 4 unterteilt. An dem freien Ende 6 des Schwenkarms 4 ist eine Verdichtungswalze 7 drehbar gelagert, die mit Hilfe des Schwenkarms 4 in mit Müll gefüllte Container geführt wird und den dort gelagerten Müll beaufschlagt und verdichtet. Die Plattform 2 weist zu beiden Seiten des Ständers 3 eine gewisse Ausdehnung auf, um eine Abstützung der gesamten Vorrichtung 1 zu gewährleisten. In einem vorderen Bereich der Plattform 2, der auf der Seite der Verdichtungswalze 7 liegt, sind in den äußeren Eckbereichen zwei Räder 9 angeordnet, die als Metallrollen ausgebildet sind und deren Radius etwas kleiner als die Höhe der Plattform 2 ist. In den hinteren Eckbereichen der Plattform 2 sind absenkbare Stützen 10 angeordnet, die mit Hilfe eines Hydraulikzylinders 11 absenkbar sind. In einem zentralen hinteren Bereich der Plattform 2 sind zwei große steuerbare Räder 12 vorgesehen. Die vorderen Räder haben eine Spurbreite von 2,5 m. Die hinteren Räder 12 sind Schwerlasträder. Im hinteren Bereich der Plattform 2 ist eine schützende Verkleidung 14 angeordnet, unter der zum einen die Schwerlasträder 12 und außerdem hydraulische Einrichtungen und eine Lenkeinrichtung zur Steuerung der Räder 12 angeordnet sind. Auf der Plattform 2 ist in zentraler Position der Ständer 3 angeordnet, an den sich der Schwenkarm 4 anschließt. Der Schwenkarm 4 und insbesondere der untere erste Bereich 5 des Schwenkarms wird mit einem Hydraulikzylinder 13 bewegt. Mit einer Schubstange 33, die in Lagern verschieblich angeordnet ist, wird die Bewegung des Schwenkarm ergänzend gesteuert. Durch die Bewegung dieses ersten Bereichs läßt sich grundsätzlich auch das freie Ende 6 des Schwenkarms 4 steuern. Im Bereich des Gelenks 8 ist ein weiterer Hydraulikzylinder 15 angeordnet, der bei der Kraftübertragung zwischen dem ersten Bereich 5 und dem freien Ende 6 des Schwenkarms 4 wirkt, so daß ein zusätzlicher Druck auf die Verdichtungswalze 7 ausgeübt werden kann und das freie Ende 6 des Schwenkarms besonders gut schwenk- und steuerbar ist. Der erste Bereich 5 und das freie Ende 6 des Schwenkarms 4 weisen auf einander zugekehrten Seiten jeweils ein Pufferelement 16 auf, das ein Aufschlagen der Verdichtungswalze 7 auf die Vorrichtung verhindert. In den Pufferelementen 16 sind Ausnehmungen vorgesehen, in die eine als Klammer ausgebildete Arretierungseinrichtung 17 eingeführt werden kann. Diese Arretierungseinrichtung 17 ist insbesondere beim Transport dienlich. Über im Bereich der Pufferelemente 16 angeordnete Sensoren kann festgestellt werden, ob die Arretierungseinrichtung eingesetzt ist oder nicht. Entsprechend dieses Signals wird bei eingelegter Arretierungseinrichtung eine Bewegung des Schwenkarms und bei nicht eingelegter Arretierungseinrichtung ein Verfahren der gesamten Vorrichtung 1 verhindert.
In Figur 2 ist eine rückwärtige Ansicht der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung dargestellt, die teilweise geschnitten, nämlich als Schnitt durch die Hinterräder 12 dargestellt ist. Die Hinterräder 12 werden von einem Stirnradgetriebe 18 über Wellen 21 angetrieben. Das Stirnradgetriebe 18 wird seinerseits von einem Antriebsmotor 19 angetrieben. In der rückwärtigen Projektion sind die Hinterräder 12 benachbart rechts und links zu dem Ständer 3 der Vorrichtung angeordnet, während die vorderen Räder bzw. Rollen 9 und die Stützen 10 beabstandet zu dem Ständer 3 in den äußeren Ecken der Vorrichtung angeordnet sind. Insgesamt sind die Hinterräder 12 über das Stirnradgetriebe 18 und über Dämpfungselemente 22 an einem Drehkranz befestigt.

Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung kann nun verfahren werden, wobei die Hinterräder 12 über die Steuereinrichtung 20 steuerbar sind, so daß die Vorrichtung an den nächsten Container mit zu verdichtendem Müll herangefahren werden kann.
