  • each plate 15 has in its upper portion a hole 16 which forms the pivot point for the end of the corresponding spacing arm 4 of chair back 5. In its lower portion, each plate 15 is pivotally mounted in 17 on the bearing frame 1. Further holes 18 in plate 15 allows varying the mounting position of the plate on the bearing frame so as to vary the plate orientation. The arrangement is such that, when plates 15 rotate onto bearing frame 1, holes 16 move along respective arcs of circumference.

Claims (11)

  1. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage, siège conçu en particulier pour aider une personne invalide ou handicapée, lequel siège comprend une structure de support (1, 2, 14) dotée d'éléments latéraux (2, 14) et d'une surface d'assise (6) et d'un dossier de siège réglable à pivotement, comprenant deux bras d'écartement (4) pour écarter l'axe de pivotement du dossier du siège (5) de sa surface de support, le dispositif de réglage comprenant des moyens de couplage (3 ; 15, 16, 17, 18) couplant chaque élément latéral (2, 14) à l'un des deux dits bras d'écartement (4), permettant un réglage de la distance entre le dossier du siège (5) et un bord avant de la surface d'assise (6) et en même temps un réglage du niveau de hauteur par rapport à la surface d'assise elle-même, de telle sorte que plus ladite distance est grande, plus haut est ledit niveau, de façon à prendre en compte la longueur du fémur d'une personne qui doit s'asseoir sur le siège, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de couplage sont réglables de façon à positionner ledit axe de pivotement au-dessus de la surface d'assise (6) et à correspondre à l'axe virtuel (12) autour duquel les têtes de fémur tournent à l'intérieur des cavités cotyloïdiennes de l'os iliaque d'une personne qui s'assied sur le siège, de façon à prendre en compte la structure ischiatique de ladite personne.
  2. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de couplage comprennent une série de trous (3) prévus sur chaque élément latéral (2) de la structure de support (1) et disposés de façon que plus la distance du trou au bord avant de la surface d'assise est grande (6), plus le niveau du trou est élevé par rapport à la surface d'assise elle-même, et en ce que le dossier du siège (5) possède des éléments de couplage (4) qui peuvent être couplés avec l'un desdits trous sélectionné pour un réglage par palier de la position du dossier de siège.
  3. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de couplage comprennent une fente inclinée sur chaque élément latéral (2) de la structure de support (1), fente le long de laquelle un élément de couplage (4) du dossier de siège (5) peut être couplé en vue d'un réglage continu de la position du dossier de siège.
  4. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de couplage comprennent une plaque (15) munie, dans une partie inférieure, de moyens (17, 18) pour le couplage à pivotement de la plaque (15) avec un élément latéral (2) de la structure de support de siège (1) selon différentes orientations et, dans une partie supérieure, d'un trou (16) pour le couplage d'un élément de couplage (4) du dossier de siège (5), ledit trou (16) décrivant un arc de cercle lorsque l'orientation de la plaque (15) est modifiée.
  5. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens destinés au couplage à pivotement de la plaque (15) sur la structure de support (1) comprennent une série de trous (17, 18) ou des trous en combinaison avec une fente.
  6. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de couplage sont construits de façon à permettre un réglage du dossier de siège (5) de telle manière que ledit axe de pivotement du dossier de siège (5) corresponde essentiellement à l'axe virtuel (12) autour duquel les têtes de fémur tournent dans les cavités cotyloïdiennes de l'os iliaque de la personne qui s'assied sur le siège.
  7. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon les revendications 1 ou 6, caractérisé en ce que ledit axe de pivotement peut être ainsi positionné de façon à permettre au tronc (10) de la personne qui s'assied sur le siège, lorsqu'elle passe d'une position verticale à une position inclinée et vice-versa, de s'incliner en même temps que la surface de support du tronc du dossier de siège (5) et de tourner autour du même axe que le dossier de siège, sans mouvement de glissement relatif du dossier de siège (5) et du trou (10).
  8. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon les revendications 1 ou 6 ou 7 caractérisé en ce que le réglage du siège selon la longueur du fémur et la structure ischiatique d'une personne qui doit s'asseoir sur la surface d'assise se produit en décalant simplement l'axe de pivotement (12) du dossier de siège (5) vers un trou différent des trous (3, 18) ou vers une position différente à l'intérieur des fentes des moyens de couplage.
  9. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le dossier de siège (5) comprend des éléments de couplage (4) qui peuvent être couplés avec un trou sélectionné parmi lesdits trous pour un réglage par palier de la position de l'axe de pivotement du dossier de Siège.
  10. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon la revendication 3 caractérisé en ce que le dossier de siège comprend des éléments de couplage (4) appropriés pour être couplés le long de ladite fente en vue d' un réglage continu de la position dudit axe de pivotement du dossier de siège.
  11. Siège comportant un dispositif de réglage selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que lesdits bras d'écartement (4) sont appropriés pour pivoter autour de broches de pivotement.
