Abstract

L'invention concerne un système convertisseur comprenant un anneau d'étanchéité intercalé entre le chapeau d'un convertisseur basculant et l'orifice d'une cheminée de gaz de combustion. Les entraînements prévus permettent d'éloigner l'anneau d'étanchéité suffisamment du chapeau du convertisseur pour pouvoir basculer facilement le convertisseur. L'anneau d'étanchéité (31) est conçu sous la forme d'une enveloppe (32) qui englobe la cheminée de gaz de combustion de l'extérieur. L'orifice de l'enveloppe (32) peut, en position fermée, prendre appui sur le chapeau de convertisseur (22) et l'enveloppe (32) présente des sections de séparation verticales (35) qui divise l'enveloppe (32) en au moins deux segments (33, 34).
