  • the invention can be usefully applied in batching paints, solvents and additives, especially for the preparation of packages of paint products.
  • Italian patent application IT MO97A000126 describes a machine comprising a plurality of nozzles distributed in a straight line. Each nozzle can dispense a batched liquid from a tank.
  • a balance is constrained to a straight-moving slide moving parallel to the line of nozzles; a storage recipient for the batched liquid, resting on the balance, can be selectively positioned below the nozzles by effect of controlled translations of the slide so as to receive from the nozzle batched quantities of liquids on command of a central unit which also reads off the weight on the balance.
  • the operator places an empty recipient on the balance, after which the central unit carries out the recipient automatic filling cycle so that a final product is exactly as the operator ordered when preselecting.
  • the apparatus are relatively massive considering the number of liquids they can batch.
  • a further drawback of known apparatus is the presence of flexible tubes in movement (for example, tubes carrying the operating fluids of the opening and closing devices of the dispensing valves), with a consequently high risk of damage to or breakage of the tubes themselves.
  • WO 99 06278 discloses an apparatus as described in the preamble of claim 1, suitable for dosed dispensing of a plurality of different liquid or pasty masses to a receiving container; the apparatus includes a first supporting device for supporting containers for the masses in fixed positions; a fixedly disposed annular frame bears a plurality of dispensing nozzles controllable by a control device and each individually connectable to the containers via respective conduits; the receiving container, which is supported by a second supporting device controllable by the control device, is displaceable in an annular path corresponding with the annular form of the annular frame and placeable temporarily beneath a chosen dispensing nozzle for receiving mass dispensed by the chosen dispensing nozzle; a weighing device is configured to support the receiving container and to supply weight signals to the control device; the weighing device is connected via the second supporting device to the control device by cables such that when the second supporting device progresses through a path extending through 360 net torsion of the respective cables is substantially zero.
  • EP 715883 discloses an automatic fluid mixing device wherein a cylindrical supporting structure supports a first number of valves angularly spaced along a first circumference, and a second number of valves angularly spaced along a second circumference concentric with and inside the first; the valves are three-way types, and present a control rod extending axially from one end; the mixing device presents a blade type selecting device movable angularly about an axis through the center of the circumferences, and which singly engages an end portion of the control rod to move the rod axially and so open the valve.
