    Claims (5)

    1. Method of assembling two rigid panels (1, 2), which are intended to be disposed one above the other in one and the same vertical plane, this method comprising:
      providing a slot (7, 8) of cylindrical profile in each of the panels (1, 2), close to a lateral edge of said panels, said edge being intended to be disposed in a substantially vertical position and starting from one edge of the panel perpendicular to this lateral edge, said slot being intended to occupy a vertical position, the slots provided in the two panels having an identical profile;
      bringing the two panels (1, 2) substantially plumb with each other, with the two slots (7, 8) disposed so as to face each other;
      fitting into the slot of the lower panel (1) a cylindrical connecting member (5) of complementary shape;
      and covering this connecting member (5) with the slot of the upper panel (2) in order to form an assembly which is co-planar with the associated lower panel (1).
    2. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that it is applied simultaneously to two other panels (3, 4), provided with slots of cylindrical profile (9; 10), in which is engaged the same cylindrical connecting member (5), the two panels (3, 4) being disposed in one and the same vertical plane which either coincides with that of the panels (1, 2) or is angularly offset relative to said plane.
    3. Method according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the cylindrical connecting member (5) includes a transverse partition, which is perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder and interposed between the panels (1, 2; 3, 4) disposed in one and the same vertical plane.
    4. Method according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the slots of cylindrical profile (7, 8; 9, 10) are provided in portions (1a, 2a, 3a, 4a) of the panels (1, 2, 3, 4) which are tapered, so as to form substantially a dihedron, the edge of which coincides with the corresponding lateral edge of the panel.
    5. Method according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that:
      a slot of cylindrical profile is provided, starting from the lower edge of the lower panel or panels (1, 3), which lower edge is perpendicular to the lateral edge of this panel or the panels, said slot being orientated downwardly and intended to occupy a vertical position;
      a cylindrical portion (11) is fitted into this slot and has a shape which is complementary to a support-forming member (20), which includes a transverse partition (12) perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder, in which partition there is provided a thread, which is disposed along this axis, and into which is screwed a threaded rod (15), which projects vertically from a base (16) parallel to the partition (12);
      and in that the relative positions of the lower panel or panels (1, 3) and of the support-forming member are adjusted by means of the screw (15).
