This profile support system 28 consists of horizontal Hollow profile bars 29 and vertical hollow profile bars 30 and is used in particular for the attachment of sanitary articles and apparatus. Also in this case, no rails 11 are required. The frame 2 is also executed here without cross-beam only with two vertical support rods 6 and a mounting plate 7.

Claims (20)

  1. Profiled rail for a mounting device, to which sanitary apparatuses in particular can be secured, with two legs (18, 19) disposed at an angle with respect to one another, characterised in that one leg (18) has a anchoring piece (16a, 16b) with a double bend as a first fixing means (16) and the other leg (19) has an anchoring piece (17) with a single bend as a second fixing means (17) and the profiled rail (11 to 11") is of an elastic design in at least certain regions so that the legs (18, 19) can be prised open by elastic stretching and latched or snap-fitted in their transverse direction onto at least one part (6, 8, 23) of a mounting frame, and the first fixing means (16) is disposed at the free edge of one leg (18) and the second fixing means (17) is disposed at the free edge of the other leg (19).
  2. Profiled rail as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that it is provided as a panelling rail (11 to 11") .
  3. Profiled rail as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that at least one fixing element (16) has an inwardly bent edge (16b), which is inserted in at least one slot (14) of the at least one part (16) of the mounting frame (2) in order to anchor the profiled rail (11 to 11").
  4. Profiled rail as claimed in claim 3, characterised in that the fixing means (16) is an edge with a U-shaped cross-section of one of the legs (28).
  5. Profiled rail as claimed in claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the inwardly bent edge (16b) extends across the entire length of the profiled rail (11 to 11").
  6. Profiled rail as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the anchoring piece (17) with a single bend is disposed more or less at a right angle with respect to its leg (19) and extends inwardly.
  7. Profiled rail as claimed in claim 6, characterised in that the anchoring piece (17) with a single bend is several times shorter than the width of its leg (19).
  8. Profiled rail as claimed in one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that it is approximately L-shaped in cross-section.
  9. Profiled rail as claimed in one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the walls of the two legs (18, 19) are made from a resiliently elastic material, in particular spring steel.
  10. Profiled rail as claimed in one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the angle (α) subtended by the two legs (18, 19) when the profiled rail (11 to 11") is not fitted is smaller than 90 degrees and when the profiled rail is fitted is bigger than 90 degrees so that when the profiled rail (11 to 11") is fitted, the two legs (18, 19) lie biased against at least one part (6, 8, 23).
  11. Profiled rail as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that it is a wall or floor rail (11, 11').
  12. Mounting frame with a profiled rail as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the profiled rail (11 to 11") is latched or snap-fitted onto a base frame (2) and is provided as a means of panelling the mounting frame.
  13. Mounting frame as claimed in claim 12, characterised in that the profiled rail (11 to 11") is a crossmember, which is secured to the top ends of two support members (6) or to the bottom end of two support feet (8).
  14. Mounting frame as claimed in claim 12, characterised in that the profiled rail (11 to 11") locates in at least two slots (14, 15).
  15. Mounting frame as claimed in claim 14, characterised in that the slots (14, 15) are disposed on opposing faces of two vertical supports (6).
  16. Mounting frame as claimed in claim 14 or 15, characterised in that one slot (14) is disposed at a significantly shorter distance from an end face (25) of the support (6) than the other slot (15).
  17. Method of securing a profiled rail as claimed in claim 1 to a mounting frame, characterised in that the profiled rail (11 to 11") is of a resiliently elastic design in its transverse direction and, as it is elastically deformed, is firstly latched by the first fixing means (16) and then by the second fixing means (17) to a part (6, 8, 23) of the mounting frame (2).
  18. Method as claimed in claim 17, characterised in that the profiled rail (11 to 11") is anchored to a first edge (16), for example in a slot (14).
  19. Method as claimed in claim 17 or 18, characterised in that at least one leg (18) of the profiled rail (11 to 11") is clamped onto the at least one part (6, 8, 23).
  20. Method as claimed in claim 19, characterised in that the profiled rail (11") is mounted on at least one panelling bracket (23).
