Diese teilt die Muldenplatte 3 in einen großen beheizbaren Kochbereich 9 und einen kleineren mit Bedien- und gegebenenfalls mit Anzeigeelementen ausgestatteten Bedienbereich 11. Über im wesentlichen die gesamte Breite des Rahmens erstreckt sich in der Trennzierleiste 9 eine sickenförmige Erhebung 13. Zwischen deren erhabener Unterseite und der Oberseite der Muldenplatte 3 ist ist ein Hohlraum 15 definiert. Ein Eindringen von Flüssigkeit unter die Rahmenzierleiste 5 oder insbesondere deren Abheben von der Muldenplatte 3 ist damit deutlich erschwert bis ausgeschlossen.
