Abstract

Die Erfinding betrifft ein Innenhochdruckumformverfahren zur Herstellung insbesondere bauchiger geschlossener Hohlkörper und eine zugehörige Vorrichtung. Unter Anwendung mindestens zweier Werkstückteile (1, 2), von denen mindestens eines napfförmig vorgeformt ist und einen Flansch aufweist, werden erfindungsgemäß die Werkstückteile (1, 2) im Bereich des Flansches (1.1, 1.2) druckmitteldicht im Umformwerkzeug verpreßt, so daß die beiden Werkstückteile (1, 2) gemeinsam durch Innenhochdruckumformen verformt werden und nach dem Innenhochdruckumformen separat oder gemeinsam weiterbearbeitbar sind. Die Vorrichtung ist entsprechend der zu erzeugenden Werkstückform und der Anzahl der Werkstückteile (1, 2) in Werkzeugbereiche (E1, E2, E3, E4) unterteilt, die in unterschiedlichen Ebenen liegen.
