Claims (16)

  1. Method of storing bobbins (3), in particular filament bobbins, having a plurality of pallet-like bobbin carriers (2), the bobbins (3) being stored with an upright bobbin axis (6) in a storage rack (1) with horizontal compartments (17) and sliding rails (14) to accommodate coil carriers (2) which can be moved individually, characterized in that the bobbins (3) are stored in a manner sealed against contamination and dust on the bobbin carriers (2) in the compartments (17), the compartments (17) being divided off from one another by means of shelves (15) which are inserted or pulled in.
  2. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the bobbin carriers (2) are moved in the compartments (17) and on other conveying paths with transport surfaces (11, 12) which are separate and different in height.
  3. Method according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the bobbins (3) are plugged in groups onto the pallet-like bobbin carriers (2) with a plurality of uniformly distributed upright pins (7), each pin (7) carrying a bobbin (3).
  4. Method according to Claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that in front of the store (1), the bobbins (3) are removed by a transport carrier (21) on an external feeder (20) and are transferred to the bobbin carriers (2), the bobbins (3) being supplied by the external feeder (20) with a bobbin axis (6) that is aligned horizontally or obliquely and, before being transferred to the bobbin carrier (2), are turned.
  5. Storage facility for bobbins (3), in particular filament bobbins, having a plurality of bobbin carriers (2) and a storage rack (1) with horizontal compartments (17) and sliding rails (14) to accommodate individually moveable pallet-like bobbin carriers (2), on which the bobbins (3), in the storage position, are arranged with an upright bobbin axis (6), characterized in that the compartments (17) are divided off from one another by shelves (15) which are inserted or pulled in.
  8. Storage facility according to Claim 7, characterized in that the compartments (17) have a lateral carrying profile (13) with sliding rails (14) for the bobbin carriers (2) and shelves (15) located between them.
  9. Storage facility according to Claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the bobbin carriers (2) have transport surfaces (11, 12) which are separate and of different height for the movement in the compartments (17) and on other conveying paths.
  10. Storage facility according to Claim 7, 8 or 9, characterized in that the bobbin carriers (2) are constructed as pallet-like trays having a plurality of uniformly distributed vertical pins (7) to accommodate the bobbins (3).
  11. Storage facility according to one of Claims 7 to 10, characterized in that the storage rack (1) has a plurality of rows of racks (16) with at least one storage and retrieval unit (19).
  12. Storage facility according to one of Claims 7 to 11, characterized in that the storage rack (1) has, between at least one storage and retrieval unit (19) and an external feeder (20), a transfer station (22) having a turner device (24) for the bobbin carriers (2), the transfer station (22) having a transfer device (23) with which the bobbins (3) are transferred by a transport carrier (21) on the external feeder (20) to the bobbin carrier (2).
  13. Storage facility according to one of Claims 7 to 12, characterized in that the storage rack (1) has at least one output conveyor (28) and at least one unloading device (29) which output the bobbin carriers (2) horizontally and unload the bobbins (3) individually with access from above.
  14. Storage facility according to one of Claims 7 to 13, characterized in that there is arranged on the unloading device (29) a conveyor (30) with individually moveable monotrays (31), which have a transport disk (34) with an upright pin (35) to accommodate a bobbin (3) and a machine-readable code (36).
  15. Storage facility according to one of Claims 7 to 14, characterized in that the conveyor (30) is connected to a packaging apparatus (33) for the collection and group-wise packaging of the bobbins (3).
  16. Storage facility according to one of Claims 7 to 15, characterized in that in front of the packaging apparatus (33) there is arranged a film packaging apparatus (32) for the individual bobbins (3) on the monotrays (31).
