Claims (11)
- Zahnbürstenfilament bestehend aus einem aus Kunststoff hergestellten Monofilament (2), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Monofilament (2) einen nicht-kreisförmigen Querschnitt aufweist, um seine Längsachse tordiert und die resultierende strukturierte schraubenförmige Oberfläche durch chemisches Anlösen der Randschicht des Monofilaments (2) fixiert ist, wodurch die Form der schraubenförmigen Oberfläche permanent beibehalten wird.
- Zahnbürstenfilament (1) nach Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Querschnitt des Monofilaments (2) etwa symmetrisch zu einer parallel zur Längsachse verlaufenden Ebene ausgebildet ist.
- Zahnbürstenfilament (1) nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Querschnitt des Monofilaments (2) etwa sternförmig ausgebildet ist.
- Zahnbürstenfilament (1) nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Durchmesser der Hüllkurve des Monofilaments (2) einen Wert im Bereich von etwa 0,1016 mm (4 mil) bis etwa 0,254 mm (10 mil) aufweist.
- Zahnbürstenfilament (1) nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Monofilament (2) etwa 0,5 bis etwa 2 Drehungen pro mm in Richtung der Längsachse aufweist.
- Zahnbürstenfilament (1) nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Monofilament (2) aus Polyamid, Polyester und/oder aus Polypropylen besteht.
- Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Zahnbürstenfilaments (1) nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Zahnbürstenfilament aus einem aus Kunststoff hergestellten Monofilament (2) besteht, das einen nicht-Kreisförmigen Querschnitt aufweist, wobei man das Monofilament (2) tordiert und die resultierende strukturierte schraubenförmige Oberfläche anschließend durch chemisches Anlösen der Randschicht des Monofilaments (2) fixiert, wodurch die Form der schraubenförmigen Oberfläche permanent beibehalten wird.
- Verfahren nach Patentanspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Monofilament (2) an einer Stelle gedreht und gleichzeitig in einem Abstand zu dieser Stelle eine Drehung verhindert oder gebremst wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Patentansprüche 7 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Monofilament (2) zwischen etwa 5 s und etwa 50 s in dem Lösungsmittel fixiert wird, vorzugsweise zwischen etwa 20 s und etwa 30 s.
- Verfahren nach einem der Patentansprüche 7 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Lösungsmittel Phenol, M-Kresol und/oder Ameisensäure verwendet werden.
- Verwendung des Zahnbürstenfilaments (1) nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 6 als Borste (1) im Innenfeld einer vorzugsweise elektrisch angetriebenen Rundkopfzahnbürste.
