Claims (2)

  1. Ventilstössel einer Brennkraftmaschine, umfassend ein Kernmaterial (5) mit einer schraubenförmigen Rille (3) an einer außenliegenden Umfangsfläche und einer verschleißfesten Überzugsschicht (7), welche die außenliegende Umfangsfläche des Kernmaterials (5) bedeckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Durchmesser der schraubenförmige Rille in der Nähe eines Endes der außenliegenden Umfangsfläche zu diesem Ende hin allmählich abnimmt, wodurch vermieden wird, dass Spitzen des schraubenförmig gerillten Bereichs (3) an einer außenliegenden Umfangsfläche der Überzugsschicht (7) bloßgelegt sind.
  2. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Ventilstössels einer Brennkraftmaschine, gekennzeichnet durch die folgenden Schritte:
    Bilden einer schraubenförmigen Rille (3) an einer außenliegenden Umfangsfläche eines Kernmaterials (5), derart, dass der Durchmesser der Rille (3) in der Nähe eines Endes des Kernmaterials (5) kleiner wird;
    Bedecken der außenliegenden Umfangsfläche mit einer verschleißfesten Überzugsschicht (7); und
    Formen der außenliegenden Umfangsfläche zu einer zylindrischen Oberfläche, wobei wenigstens ein Ende der zylindrischen Oberfläche abgeschrägt ist.
