Method for activating a motor vehicle door lock system with an electric opening aid (5) which is equipped with a remote-controlled electronic control system (8) having a remote control module (9) at the operator end, wherein the electronic control system (8) requires, in terms of timing, a start-up interval, an authorization checking interval, if appropriate an action interval and a door opening interval, and wherein an electric motor (6) of the opening aid (5) is started in the door opening interval and causes the door to be opened by means of an intermediately connected gear mechanism (7), characterized in that the transmission of force which brings about the opening of the door is carried out via the gear mechanism (7) only when the electric motor (6) exceeds a specific minimum rotational speed, in that, when the door lock system is actuated the electric motor (6) is also started in order to start the start-up interval and is initially adjusted to a rotational speed below the minimum rotational speed, and in that if there is a positive result after the end of the authorization checking interval the rotational speed of the electric motor (6) is increased above the minimum rotational speed in order to open the door.
  2. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the gear mechanism (7) is provided with a centrifugal force clutch (13) which engages only when the minimum rotational speed is exceeded.
  3. Method according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a time period of 60 ms to 100 ms, preferably of approximately 80 ms, passes from the activation of the motor vehicle door lock system, that is to say from the starting of the start-up interval, to the start of the opening of the door.
  4. Method according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the rotational speed and the position of the electric motor 6 are sensed by means of electronic components (13; 14) and evaluated in order to control the start-up interval, the authorization checking interval and if appropriate the action interval and the door opening interval.
