Definitions
- the present invention relates to signaling for motor vehicle.
- a traffic light for vehicle automobile with a base and a lamp holder attached to the base from the rear, at a rear axial end of the base and having a housing forming a receiving socket of a lamp.
- the fire has an electrical circuit comprising a cut metal sheet extending in a general plane perpendicular to an axial direction of the base, fixed to the front of the bulb holder and axially interposed between it and the base.
- the circuit is suitable for supplying electricity a lamp received in the lamp holder.
- This device has for disadvantage that it is necessary to separate the base from the lamp holder to access the circuit in the event of damage. Gold, this separation is sometimes laborious or even impossible to perform in certain light mounting configurations on the vehicle.
- a signaling light comprising a base, an indicator, a lamp holder located at the rear of the base and a circuit electrically conductive attached to the lamp holder, the fire being adapted to receive the circuit from a front part of the basement.
- An object of the invention is to provide a signaling facilitating access to the circuit in some mounting configurations.
- a signaling light for a vehicle comprising a base, a lamp holder located at the rear of the base and an electrically conductive circuit attached to the lamp holder, the light being adapted to receive the circuit (14) from a front part of the base (2), said light comprising at at least one partition (18) attached to said base (2) and separating the different fire signaling functions between them.
- the circuit can be accessed from the front of the base.
- the disassembly of the circuit is therefore facilitated in the configurations where only the front of the base is easily accessible.
- the fire includes a lamp attached to the lamp holder, the circuit being arranged so that it is adapted to have been necessarily attached to the lamp holder prior to the lamp.
- the base and the lamp holder are of a single piece.
- the manufacture of the base and the lamp holder requires the creation of a unique piece and we avoid a step assembly.
- the positioning of the lamp in the fire is very precise due to the lack of movement relative between the lamp and the base. When the vehicle is moving, even in the presence of significant vibrations, the lamp remains suitably focused in the fire.
- the circuit comprises a metal sheet having at least one orifice extending coaxially to at minus a respective lamp housing of the lamp holder.
- the lamp holder has two housings lamp, the fire comprising a partition attached to the base so as to extend between two lamps received in the respective housing.
- the installation and access to the circuit from the front of the base is compatible with the presence of at least one partition separating the various signaling functions of the fire between them.
- the light comprises at least one slide to support the partition and guide it by -report to the base.
- a method of manufacture of a signaling light for a vehicle in which is provided with a base, said light comprising at least one partition (18) attached to said base (2) and separating the different fire signaling functions, lamp holder located at the rear of the base and a circuit electrically conductive, and the circuit is reported on the lamp holder from a front part of the base.
- a lamp is brought back to the lamp holder.
- the lamp holder having two lamp housings, after fixing the circuit to the lamp holders, a partition is attached to the base so that the partition extends between two lamps received in the respective housing.
- the light has a lamp holders 10 defining two housings 12, or sockets, for a lamp base 13, each housing having an axis parallel to axis 4.
- the base 2 and the lamp holders 10 are in one piece made of material injection molded plastic.
- the fire has an electrical circuit comprising a sheet metal 14 cut and folded. It includes in particular a flat portion visible in FIGS. 1 and 2 and extending in a plane perpendicular to axis 4, in contact with a front face of the lamp holder 10. This front face has recesses in which the sheet is received.
- the flat portion sheet metal has, in plan, a generally rectangular shape. Certain other portions of the sheet extend in the housings 12, parallel to the axis 4.
- the sheet has two circular orifices arranged in coincidence with the mouths of the respective housings 12, and is adapted to come into electrical contact with the lamp bases 13 respectively. Another portion, not shown, of this sheet extends into a light connector adapted to come into contact with an electrical connector of the vehicle, in a manner known in itself.
- the base 2 per se has no extending part next to the location planned for circuit 14, from from the front of the base, toward this location.
- the base 2 has two grooves 16 extending one in look of the other along the side walls 6, parallel to axis 4.
- the light has a partition 18 of generally rectangular planar shape with two rectilinear edges adapted to be received in the grooves 16 respective thus acting as slides.
- We report the partition 18 by threading it into the rails 16 from front of the light, and pushing it back.
- the throats 16 are arranged so that the partition 18 then extends between the two lamp housings 12.
- the partition delimits two lamp compartments associated with two functions of respective signage.
- the light includes an indicator 17 intended to be crossed by the light beam emitted by each lamp 13, and a opaque collar 19 extending around the periphery of the sight glass 17 around it.
- the flange 19 present on one side internal a groove adapted to receive the front edge of the walls side 6 of the base 2 for positioning and fixing of the collar 19 on the base 2.
- the collar 19 has side edges intended to extend opposite parts 21, 23 of the vehicle body, in excess thickness with this, with the interposition of a non-sealing shown in Figure 1.
- the base 2 comprising the lamp holder 10 molded with the basement. Then we bring back the circuit 14 on the base 2 from the front of it, along axis 4 and we fix it on the face front of the rear wall 8 as mentioned above.
- To mount the light on the vehicle we place the fire thus constituted by presenting it from inside the vehicle body, for example by the trunk.
- the base 2 then comes into abutment against a element 21 of the body. Then we present the flange 19 with the indicator 17, from outside the body and the indicator and the collar are fixed to the base 2.
- the fire according to a second embodiment is not direct flow, but flow reflexive.
- the light includes reflectors 22 extending between the side walls 6 and the lamp holder 10.
- the reflectors 22 are in one piece with the base 2.
- the indicator 17 is traditional, instead of having an optical prisms. The other characteristics of the fire are unchanged compared to the first embodiment.
- the fire with direct flow, has a base 2 whose side walls 6 are provided with lugs 24 at their front edge.
- the flange 19 has on its internal face of the legs 26 parallel to axis 4 and having receiving orifices lugs 24.
- the side walls 6 and / or the legs 26 are flexible elastically in a direction perpendicular to their general plan, so that when fixing the flange to the base, they flex elastically for the passage of the pins 24 on the legs 26, then relax when the pins enter the holes. We realize thus the snap fastening of the flange 19 to the base 2.
- FIG. 5 there is shown the seal 25 interposed between the flange 19 and the body element 21 parallel to axis 4. This is a "fôamé" joint (foamed) 25, known as such.
- the collar present in in addition to a conduit 26 for receiving a fixing screw 29 passing through an orifice of the bodywork element 21 and the head is in abutment against this body element.
- Figure 6 shows a fourth embodiment of the invention.
- the flange 19 and the indicator 17 are this time in one piece.
- the collar is here again fixed by latching on the base 2, but the pins 24 are carried by the collar and the associated orifices are on the basement.
- the base 2 includes a centering pad 28 extending along axis 4, projecting from a rear face of the base 2.
- This stud 28 is intended to penetrate an orifice 30 a body element 23 for positioning fire in relation to the body.
- the base 2 has a lug 32 extending rearward a side wall 6 of the basement. This flexible lug 32 is adapted to bend elastically by entering an orifice 34 of the element of body 21 then, after relaxation, to be supported on this element. It ensures, in cooperation with the stud 38, the fixing fire to the body.
- the fire may include a single lamp.
