  • Towel and in particular paper towel dispensers are known, their dispensing device reacts to a light-sensitive sensor.
  • the Sensor reacts to light changes, e.g. B. caused by people walking by with the known dispensing devices
  • the sensor must be on a side Housing wall can be arranged so that defined lighting conditions are guaranteed are.
  • This has the disadvantage that operators only take a long time Look for the sensor on the side.
  • Such dispenser devices are also often arranged too close to the side walls so that the amount of light is not sufficient to trigger a safe switching process.
  • a paper towel dispenser can be found in US 4,406,421, from the housing exterior a lever is accessible via the rack running inside the housing Comb the pinion and pinion so that a portion of the paper towel passes through a dispensing opening is accessible.
