  • heating devices having elements heaters using propane gas as fuel, which can possibly equip the terraces in low seasons.
  • the elements are generally arranged in height, so as to radiate down.
  • such devices have many disadvantages linked to their use and in particular that of loss of heat forcing the restaurant owner, the coffee maker or the user to have a large number of these devices on his terrace in order to obtain a sufficient temperature.
  • these devices heat the air by radiation and the air hot tends to rise, such a system does not allow to obtain a satisfactory temperature, especially in the limbs lower (feet, legs), which, arranged under a table, do not benefit no radiation at all.
  • the heat loss caused during of the use of these different heating devices present on the market causes high fuel consumption which supplies like propane, for example, as soon as you want to maintain high temperature.
  • the present invention proposes to solve the various disadvantages mentioned above by simple, safe and effective means.
  • the heating device intended to heat a space such as a terrace for example is of the type with heating means comprising at least one heating element arranged on or carried by a carrying mast, insulation means intended to prevent heat loss by isolating a space (5) of sufficient size to allow several people to settle there, said isolation means being movable between two positions, one deployed open position corresponding to the position of use, and a closed position in the storage position, said heating element being disposed below the insulation means, the heating element being of the radiant type and the heating device comprising means for reflecting the radiation from the heating element.
  • the insulation means consist of a large dome arranged in open position in a substantially horizontal plane located above the heating element.
  • the dome constituting the insulation means is constituted either by a canvas or by a set of rigid or semi-rigid elements, these being articulated on the carrying mast or on an additional part integral with the mast.
  • the dome is deployed in an open position, or folded into a closed position by means of actuation and positioning, while means for reflecting radiation or radiation from the heating element are advantageously provided, these means being constituted by at least one reflecting dome.
  • the means of reflection are constituted by the means insulation, such as canvas.
  • the carrying mast is offset from so as to be outside the space located directly above the heating means and insulation means.
  • the isolation means make it possible to stop the scattering of radiation and / or heat that could leave in the atmosphere, while thanks to the possibility of positioning closed the device, it is easily movable to be moved or stored.
