Description

The invention relates to a stand-up pouch made of weldable material according to the preamble of claim 1. Such stand-up pouches are known from documents US 5350 240 A and DE 1 949 690 A. Stand-up pouches of this type are widely used, for example as refill packs for liquid, pasty or powdery, ie generally pourable, contents. When filled with a welded head end, these stand-up pouches generally show a fold, which can occur both in the two pouch walls and on the edges of the weld seam. This fold is caused by the round-oval shape of the bag, starting from the bottom of the bag, caused by the bottom fold flattened under the weight of the contents, in connection with the welding of the head end after filling the bag by a straight, flat weld seam connecting the two bag walls. It also follows from this that the stand-up pouch, when filled, is wider in the head area than in the bottom area. In this way, a mutual overlap is created next to one another on a sales shelf of bags or, if a mutual overlap is not desired, a correspondingly increased shelf area is required for the sales list of the bags.
Stand-up pouches with divider ribs are known from documents EP 0 634 341 A and EP 0 864 508 A.
The primary object of the invention is to create a stand-up pouch of the type specified at the beginning, in which, in its filled condition, folds in the pouch material and pouch overlaps of closely spaced filled pouches on the store shelf are avoided.

This object is achieved according to the invention by an embodiment of the stand-up pouch solved according to claim 1. The fact that in this configuration only the side Weld seam edges in the area of the bottom fold run parallel to each other, while the side The edges of the weld seams of the bag walls are inclined to the rest Converge, the head end is flat when empty lying bags narrower in the head area than in the floor area. In the filled state of the bag when the round oval bottom by flattening the inserted bottom fold trained, but turns out to be the same width of the bag across its vertical axis through the corresponding one Dimensioning the convergence angle of the oblique Weld seam edges that range from about 5 ° to 10 ° to a vertical extension of the adjacent lateral Weld seam edges of the bottom fold can lie. On in this way a mutual partial covering is achieved filled bag next to each other on the sales shelf avoided, so that the bags close together to save space can be set up. At the same time, through the dividing ribs made of the wall material their opposite to the oblique weld seam edges converging alignment the formation of folds in the material of the bag walls or at the edges of the weld seam prevented.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the lower Weld seam edges of the bottom fold, starting from one middle area, from its underside to the side The edges of the weld seam should be slightly beveled. This slight bevel is when setting up the filled bag with a compressive pressure on the outer floor corners avoided, which improves the stability of the Bag is reached, which also prevents the so-called tipping, that depends on the product and the Bag dimensions in the known bags in one Rocking or swaying the bag on the bottom contour manifests.

The upper and lower ones are also advantageous Bag corners rounded, causing hand injuries by Scratches when handling the bags can be avoided.

Further features and advantages of the invention result from the further subclaims and the description below in connection with the drawing, the only one Figure is a schematic front view of a stand-up pouch in the empty state to illustrate an embodiment of the invention shows.

In the drawing, one is designated as a whole by 1 Stand-up pouch shown in weldable material, being particularly suitable as a weldable bag material Polyolefins, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, or also composite foils, in the metal foils, specifically Aluminum foils, which may be included come. Such films are common in bag manufacturing Materials.

The bag 1 has a closed bottom end 2 and an initial one open head end 3. The bag body is of two in the empty state of the bag 1 lying flat against each other Bag walls 4 formed, the side edges 5 and 6 welded to each other by a flat weld 7 are.

The bottom end 2 is formed by a bottom fold 8 which itself in the empty state of the bag 1 with its middle one inner folded edge 9 extends between the two bag walls 4 and at their lower edges 10 and the side Edges 11 and 12 in turn by flat welds 13 or 14 with the respective adjacent bag wall 4 connected is. The welding of the bottom fold 8 with the adjacent pouch walls 4 is completed by lateral diagonal welds 15 between the respective Bottom fold half and the adjacent bag wall 4 for Improvement of a flat bottom formation when filled Bag 1. The bottom fold 8 is under the pressure of the in the filling operation filled goods spread flat and then forms a flat stand for the filled Bag 1, which defines a vertical axis 16.

Dabei beträgt der Konvergenzwinkel etwa 7° zu einer Vertikalen in Verlängerung der unteren Schweißnahtränder 11,12 der Bodenfalte 8.The lateral weld seam edges 11, 12 of the bottom fold 8 run parallel to each other and to the central vertical axis 16 of the bag, this parallel edge course only briefly beyond the inner fold edge 9 of the bottom fold 8 is led upwards. From this to the inner folding edge 9 adjacent area to have the side weld seam edges 5 and 6 of the bag walls 4 one to the head end 3 converging oblique course. The is Convergence angle about 7 ° to a vertical extension the lower weld seam edges 11, 12 of the bottom fold 8.

In each bag wall 4 are in the example shown two divider ribs 17 made of the wall material from the inside to the inside pronounced on the outside, causing interruptions in the bag wall surface experiences. The two divider ribs 17 go in the two bag walls 4 from the corner areas between the head end 3 and the adjacent side Weld 7 from and have one towards the bottom fold 8 converging oblique course. With their endpoints are the divider ribs 17 in a transition area between the parallel weld edges 11, 12 and inclined weld edges 5.6 containing the transverse plane of the Bag 1, which is shown in its empty state in parallel runs to the inner fold edge 9 of the bottom fold 8.

The divider ribs 17 each extend in one field the respective bag wall 4, which on one side of the respective side weld 7 and the other Side of a containing the vertical axis 16 of the bag 1 Vertical plane is limited. Depending on the Bag dimensions can, under certain circumstances, further, if necessary short divider ribs in the respective bag wall field be provided in an appropriate arrangement.

The dividing ribs 17 each close an acute angle α ≤ 45 ° with the adjacent oblique weld edge 5 or 6 a. In the example shown, the Angle α about 15 °. The divider ribs 17 in the two bag walls 4 a congruent training and Arrangement.

Der Abschrägungswinkel der Nahtbereiche 19 gegenüber dem Rand 10 des mittleren Nahtbereichs 18 beträgt einige wenige Grad, z.B. etwa 3° bis 5°.Starting from a central area 18 are the lower ones Weld seam edges 10 of the bottom fold 8 from their underside forth to the side weld edges 11, 12 slightly beveled, what by punching the previously formed Flat weld 13 can be done. The beveled Areas 19 of the lower weld 13 occupy approximately Third of their length on either side of the unslanted middle area 18 a. The bevel angle of the Seam areas 19 opposite the edge 10 of the middle seam area 18 is a few degrees, e.g. about 3 ° to 5 °.

Finally, those formed by the flat welds 7 upper bag corners 20 and those of the flat weld seams 13, 14 formed lower bag corners 21 to avoid bevelled or rounded by hand injuries.

That for filling with pourable filling goods in one Bottling company initially left open head 3, in the otherwise a distribution aid, not shown can be included, after filling by the from the head end 3 when spreading the both pouch walls 4 presented opening closed by a continuous connecting the upper bag corners 20 Weld seam is attached to the head end 3, so that the bag 1 is completely sealed in its filled state is. Thanks to the design according to the invention are folds in this filled state of the bag and a side overhang with good stability of the Bag avoided.
