Definitions
- the invention relates to a ski binding specified in the preamble of claim 1 Art.
- ski binding of the bearing block is a vertical Axle swung out laterally on the base plate.
- the bearing block is on the In about horizontal high pivot axis of the swivel head mounted by means of a From a release spring loaded latching rocker releasably locked in the bearing block becomes.
- the swivel head has a sole holder and a tread spur on intermediate the base plate and the bearing block is provided a spring, the one Return of the bearing block from a laterally swung-out position in the middle position causes.
- a further latching device is present, which the bearing block in the tripped position of the swivel head or sole holder in the middle position holds.
- the ski binding can be as a toe or heel cheeks design. At least when used as a heel jaw, a be provided additional centering for the swivel head, the side Pivoting movements of the swivel head when the ski binding is locked prevents but lateral pivoting under firing forces then gradually increasing permits, when the swivel head has already carried out a high pivoting movement.
- the structure of the known ski binding is complex and multi-part and therefore expensive. Due to the construction results in a relatively high weight.
- the invention is based on the object, a ski binding of the aforementioned To create kind, soft despite Diagonalausaims cost-effectively manufacturable and weight-saving is trained.
- the swivel head either on the high pivot axis or together with this can pivot laterally relative to the bearing block, the diagonal release guaranteed in a structurally simple way.
- the bracket needs no lateral Pivoting and therefore can be easily connected to the base plate. Thereby Parts are saved and results in a cost-effective and weight-saving Construction.
- the invention is to be seen in that no longer as in the known ski bindings of the swivel head together with him bearing bearing block is moved laterally relative to the base plate, but the swing-up Swivel head directly in the bearing block is held also laterally swiveling and for the Diagonal release required lateral pivoting movements relative to the bearing block performs.
- two off-center virtual side pivot axes provided, wherein the Hochschwenkachse is fixed in the swivel head and its Side pivoting follows.
- the two side pivot axes not at pure high pivoting movements of the swivel head come to the effect, but then at most the swivel head in the high pivoting direction support. Occurs a side pivoting movement of the swivel head, triggered by an effective lateral pivoting force on the swivel head or its Sole holder, then arises in the lying in this side pivoting direction Support of the high pivot axle only the side pivot axis, the side pivot center defined for the swivel head relative to the bearing block.
- the respective used side pivot axis crosses the high pivot axis. This will approximately the same lever arm for the Ausschwenkkraft used, which also for the pure Hochschwenkamba about the Hochschwenkachse is given constructive.
- the virtual, central side pivot axis is structurally simple Way through the hourglass glass shape of the cross section of the receiving shaft for defines the Hochschwenkachse, more precisely between the constriction of this Cross-sectional shape and the high pivot axis. Since no representational side pivot axis structurally predetermined, the swivel head can be exactly in the Move laterally relative to the bearing block in which the forces exerted by the ski boot Power is effective. As a result, parasitic friction losses during sideways pivoting avoided.
- the central side pivot axis is representational by the Defined pivot pin, so that the swivel head guided by the pivot pin Performs side pivoting movement. From the acting on the swivel head Side force of the ski boot is then utilized in the component through the pivot pin defined pivoting direction is.
- the guide slots determine the direction in which the swivel head laterally relative to the bearing block swings.
- the high pivot axis at both outer ends fixed in the cheeks of the swivel head which provides a stable power support, or in the cam surface bearing locking body of the swivel head and so that between the two virtual side pivot axes.
- the guide slots are approximately horizontal in lateral legs arranged the bearing block, or rising obliquely in side pivoting. As a result, an approximately vertical position or forward as needed set obliquely inclined position of the respective side pivot axis.
- a movably mounted locking member is included in the bearing block, which is acted upon by the release spring.
- This locking member can be guided linearly be formed or as a pivoting pawl.
- lateral side pivoting games are provided so that the Swivel head to perform the Soschwenkambaen without collision with the support frame can.
- the respective Soschwenkspiel can be dimensioned so that an automatic swing limit results. It is conceivable in these Soschwenkfive To accommodate springs or resilient components that have a centering the pivoting head in the central position at least in the open position of the Make ski binding.
- a resilient between the bearing block and the swivel head Centering provided to the swivel head at triggered or to keep open ski binding in a centered central position, in which the boarding in the ski binding is comfortable to do.
- the additional locking contains structurally simple and reliable a wedge-shaped projection under the tread spur and a V-shaped engagement recess for the lead.
- the side pivoting or diagonal release sensitively controlled, whereby in a structurally simple way, i. through the Shape of the cam surfaces, for lateral tripping movements a lower tripping resistance or predetermines a different tripping characteristic than for the High tripping.
- the core according to the invention is in any case the Soschwenkbewegliche storage the already swiveling swivel head directly in the bearing block.
- a first embodiment of a ski binding S has in FIGS. 1, 2, 5 and 6 a on a base plate, not shown, with this connectable bearing block B on, the includes a locking device V, and at about a substantially horizontal Hochschwenkachse H a swivel head K is mounted diveschwenkbar. additionally to the high pivot axis H, a virtual side pivot axis Q is provided in the middle, by which the swivel head K can pivot sideways relative to the bearing block B. With the swivel head K is an operating lever C integrally connected.
- This ski binding S is designed as heel cup F, although a toe piece (not shown) could be designed according to a similar structure and function principle.
- the bearing block B is a box-like housing 1 with approximately in the ski longitudinal direction and parallel to each other extending lateral legs 2, 3 are formed, in which Mounting holes 4 are provided near their free ends.
- the in the bearing block B accommodated latch V has a the rear end of the bearing block B enforcing adjusting screw 5 for the axial position of a spring abutment 6 on which a release spring 7 is supported, the one with its other end in the bearing block B movable latch member 8 applied.
- the latch member 8 is for example linearly guided or formed as a pivotable pawl (not shown).
- the latch member 8 carries a cam surface 9 which is spatially convexly curved, i. both in the horizontal section of Fig. 1 and in the vertical section of Fig. 2 is a convex Has curvature.
- the Hochschwenkachse H is formed by a journal 10, which in the mounting holes 4 fixed and riveted, for example, at 11 outside. On This way, the high pivot axis H is fixed in the bearing block B.
- the swivel head K has at its in Fig. 1 left side a sole holder or Sohlenniederhalter 12 on (only partially indicated) and a lower side Tread spur 13. Furthermore, on the pivot head K a engaging in the bearing block B. Locking body 14 is provided, suitably integrally formed, the a cooperating with the cam surface 9 cam surface 15 carries. Also the cam surface 15 is curved in horizontal section and vertical section each convex. in the Horizontal section of Fig. 1 is the convex curvature of the cam surface 15 expediently almost a circular arc section whose center is approximately in the side pivot axis Q is. Between the legs 2, 3 of the bearing block B and the Locking body 14 is provided on each side of a 9.
- the locking body 14 is from an approximately horizontal receiving shaft 16th interspersed, which in an Achsterrorism the form of an hourglass glass with both ends Extensions 18 and a central constriction 17 has, with the constriction 17th the Hochschwenkachse H with a slight fit includes.
- a (not shown) provided resilient centering device with which the swivel head K in triggered position of the ski binding S is centered in its central position to the Getting in the ski binding easier.
- This centering device could, for example by resilient elements in the Soschwenkered between the Locking body 14 and the legs 2, 3 of the bearing block B are formed. Other structural designs of this centering device are possible.
- an additional lock V1 can be provided for the swivel head K. ( Figures 2, 5 and 6) to the swivel head K in the locked position of the ski binding (Fig. 2) to prevent lateral pivoting movements about the side pivot axis Q, as long as not a high pivoting movement of the pivoting head K about the high pivot axis H occurs.
- the additional lock V1 consists of a at the bottom of the tread spur 3 integrally formed, downwardly tapering, wedge-shaped projection 19, and one in the base plate or a front portion 21 of the base plate fixed Bearing B molded, in cross section (Fig. 5, 6) V-shaped engagement recess 20 for the projection 19.
- the projection 19 has straight, oblique side edges 22, which are transferred down into a central centering projection 23.
- the intervention recess 20 has to the flanks 22 matching oblique edges 24 and a slightly deeper than the projection 23 formed centering recess 25. It could also be sufficient, only the wedge-shaped projection 19 in the downwardly open engagement recess 20 to engage (about in the manner indicated in Fig. 2 way).
- the projection 19 is complete dug out of the engagement recess 20, then the swivel head K can be swivel laterally uncontrolled, if necessary until the side swing clearance between the locking body 14 and the legs 2, 3 is eliminated or the Hochschwenkachse H comes in the extensions 18 to the plant.
- the lateral pivoting movement of the swivel head K, the resistance acts between the cam surfaces 9 and 15 counter. If the cam surface 15 in the horizontal section of Fig. 1 circular arc with circular center in the side pivot axis Q, then hangs the lateral Ausschwenkwiderstand essentially only on the friction conditions between the cam surfaces 9, 15 from.
- a different shaping of the Camming surfaces 15 and / or 9 can also be a certain tripping characteristic predetermine for the lateral pivoting movements.
- the locking device V If the force exerted by the ski boot on the swivel head exceeds the tripping resistance the locking device V not, then turns the ski binding S automatically back to the closed and centered home position, namely by the action of the locking device V and the auxiliary lock V1. In contrast, the force of the ski boot exceeds the resistance of the locking device V, then it finally comes to exceeding the trigger point, where the ski boot is not only released upwards from the ski binding, but optionally even laterally.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 are corresponding components with the same reference numerals as in Figs. 1 and 2.
- the additional lock V1 is indicated only schematically, but corresponds in training and function of Additional locking device V1 of FIGS. 1 and 2, 5 and 6.
- the legs 2, 3 of the base plate fixed bearing block B in their free end portions 2a, 3a e.g. arcuately curved.
- the essentially horizontal Hochschwenkachse H is fixed in this embodiment in the swivel head K. and interspersed with their outer end portions in approximately horizontal Guide slots 4 '(slots) of the bearing block B.
- the Hochschwenkachse H or the guide slots 4 ' are relatively high in the bearing block B.
- the pivot head K overlaps with side cheeks 28, the legs 2, 3 of the bearing block B from the outside and includes in the cheeks 28 mounting openings 26 for the outer ends of the pin 10, which forms the high pivot axis H.
- the high pivot axis H is fixed in the swivel head K.
- Fig. 3 indicates that the Hochschwenkachse H in a trained as a bore 27 receiving shaft of the locking body 14 may be additionally fixed. This is not necessary, if (Fig. 4) of the locking body 14 below the high pivot axis H should be.
- the high pivot axis H only in the then raised latch body 14 to fix and the pin 10 to the Outer sides of the legs 2, 3 end. The cheeks 28 could then be omitted become.
- the swivel head K is relative to the fixed in it high pivot axis H relative to the bearing block B laterally pivotable, and in each case one of two virtual Side pivot axes Q1, Q2, by the interaction between the guide slots 4 'and the high pivot axis H as a function of the respective Side swivel direction are formed.
- Occurs in Fig. 3 a force of the ski boot after on top, then comes the lower side pivot axis Q1 to the effect and the upper End portion of the Hochschwenkachse H shifts in the upper guide slot 4 ' to the right (indicated by dashed lines).
- one of the ski boots will work one down directed force in Fig. 3, then comes the upper side pivot axis Q2 effect, and the lower end portion of the high pivot axis H shifts in the lower Guide slot 4 'to the right (indicated by dashed lines).
- the other function corresponds the function described for the first embodiment.
- the cam surface 15 can in the horizontal section of Fig. 3 of two in each case to a Side pivot axis Q1, Q2 concentric or approximately concentric Arc sections and a central convex curvature section composed his.
- the diagonal release is - as I said - up to a certain High swing stroke of the swivel head K controlled by the additional locking V1.
- axle body D shown in FIG. 7 is for the third embodiment of FIG. 8 and 9 of the ski binding determined by the indicated in Figs. 8 and 9 only important parts are.
- the axle body D consists for example of two coaxial Achszapfenstummeln 10a, 10b connected to each other via a round disk body 29 are and the high pivot axis H define that in the mounting holes 4 of the legs 2, 3 of the bearing block B is fixed.
- the disk body 29 For example, has a central bore 30, in which a side pivot pin 31 can be inserted is.
- the axle body D forms a completely prefabricated Component with fixed side pivot pin 31.
- the side pivot pin 31 defines a representational side pivot axis Q for the swivel head.
- the locking body 14 of the pivoting head K (Fig. 8 and 9) with an approximately provided horizontal receiving shaft 32, in which the axle D used so is that the disk body 29 is secured in the direction of the side pivot axis Q, in the direction of rotation about the side pivot axis Q but has play.
- the locking body 15 is also a receiving shaft 32 crossing, central bore 33rd provided in which the side pivot pin 31 is pressed, wherein he the disk body 29 passes through and the Hochschwenkachse H crosses.
- Fig. 9 it is indicated that the receiving shaft 32 is inclined, so that the Side pivot axis Q in the closed position of the ski binding from below goes up and diagonally forward. It would be conceivable, however, the receiving shaft 32 horizontally in the closed position of the ski binding. It would be further conceivable to omit the side pivot pin 31, and directly for the circular Disk body 29 in the receiving shaft 32 in a correspondingly shaped bearing cup to be taken (similar to that explained in Fig. 11 later), so that the positive connection between the disc body 29 and this bearing cup, the objective side pivot axis Q defined.
- the disk body 29 does not necessarily need to be round. It is only necessary a stable connection of the spigot stubs 10a, 10b with the connecting part 29, which allows the side pivot pin 31 to be inserted. alternative it would be possible, the side pivot pin 31 with the connecting part 29 in one piece form, and for the pin 10 as shown in FIGS. 3 and 1 subsequently deviszustecken.
- a one-piece axle body D which consists of two coaxial spigot stubs 10a, 10b and a joint body G connecting them, which is known as Ball 29 may be formed.
- the joint body G could also on a through-going pin 10 according to FIGS. 1 and 3 pushed and in the Be center fixed.
- the axle body D in FIG. 10 defines with the journal stubs 10 a, 10b, the high pivot axis H, while the joint body G a plurality of side pivot axes Q determines.
- Fig. 11 in which the locking body 14 of the swivel head K with the horizontally oriented receiving shaft 16 (an approximate hourglass-glass mold similar to FIG.
- a bearing cup 34 is formed, e.g. a ball socket, in which the hinge body 29 of the axle body D of FIG. 10 is fitted.
- a conical insert 35 in the expansion 18 inserted and fixed by a latching 36 as soon as the joint body G has been introduced into the bearing cup 34. For pure high-swinging movements of the swivel head, this rotates in the plane of parallel in one plane to the longitudinal direction of the equator of the joint body G, while it lateral pivoting movements in virtually any direction on the joint body 29 possible are.
- the bearing block B ground plate fixed is arranged and the swivel head either on the Hochschwenkachse H or can be pivoted laterally with this relative to the bearing block B, i. basically without side pivoting of the bearing block directly in and relative to this.
- the Hochschwenkachse is also used for motion control with side swivel movements used the swivel head.
- To the number of parts To keep it low and to save weight, it is convenient to constructional means representational or virtual education of the respective side pivot axis so easy as possible.
- the illustrations in the figures are only more schematic Nature and with respect to the lever arms for the Hochschwenk- and the side pivoting movements and the curvature of the cam surfaces not meaningful.
