L'invention concerne un câble de télécommunication hybride comportant quatre conducteurs électriques (de 3.1 à 3.4 inclus) disposés dans une configuration équilibrée de groupe à quatre et logés dans une enveloppe de câble (1). Dans une cavité centrale (6) située entre les quatre conducteurs électriques et/ou dans des cavités périphériques (de 8.1 à 8.4 inclus), se trouve un conducteur optique (7). Le conducteur optique est constitué d'une fibre optique (7.1) partiellement épaissie avec un revêtement fixe (7.2) jusqu'à un diamètre maximal (d3) inférieur à un diamètre de référence (d3s). La présente invention présente un avantage en ce que le conduit optique peut être introduit dans le câble sans augmenter le diamètre (d) du câble et perturber l'équilibre de la configuration de groupe à quatre, ou alors il peut faciliter la conception de câbles à diamètre réduit.
