- Fume extractor hood connecting device according to claim 1, characterised in that the centring stub pipe (24) has a funnel-like centring part for receiving the connection end, which is to be centred, of the exhaust air opening (4) or of the exhaust air opening part, which is to be centred, of the fume extractor hood (12), wherein the centring stub pipe (24) can be fastened to the element, which is not to be centred, before insertion of the fume extractor hood (12) into the mounting opening (10).
- Fume extractor hood connecting device according to claim 1, characterised in that centring stub pipe (24) has a conical centring part (38) for insertion into the end, which is to be centred, of the exhaust air duct or the exhaust air opening part, which is to be centred, of the fume extractor hood (12) on insertion of the fume extractor hood (12) into the mounting opening (10), wherein the centring stub pipe (24) can be fastened to the element, which is not to be centred, before insertion of the fume extractor hood (12) into the mounting opening (10).
- Fume extractor hood connecting device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the centring stub pipe (24) can be fastened to the wall in the space and the connection end of the exhaust air duct (4) is connectible to the centring stub pipe (24) before the fume extractor hood (12) is inserted into the mounting opening (10) and that thereafter by insertion of the fume extractor hood (12) into the mounting opening (10) the exhaust air opening (20) of the fume extractor hood (12) can be centred by the centring stub pipe (24) and in that case is connectible in terms of flow with the connection end of the exhaust air duct (4) by way of this centring stub pipe (24).
- Fume extractor hood connecting device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connection end of the exhaust air duct (4) is positionable, before insertion of the fume extractor hood (12) into the space, at a wall of the space by means of a positioning device in a position which also corresponds with or approximates its position after insertion of the fume extractor hood (12), wherein the positioning device has a horizontal play to facilitate the centring process.
- Method of connecting an exhaust air duct in the form of a rigid pipe or flexible hose with an exhaust air opening of a fume extractor hood (12), comprising a fume extractor hood connecting device according to one of the preceding claims 1 to 15, characterised bypositioning of the connection end of the exhaust air duct (4), before insertion of the fume extractor hood (12) into the space, at a wall of the space in a position which also corresponds with or approximates its position after insertion of the fume extractor hood (12);providing the centring stub pipe (24) between connection end of the exhaust air duct (4) and the exhaust air opening (20) of the fume extractor hood (12) for automatic centring and connecting of the exhaust air opening (20) with the connection end of the exhaust air duct (4) during insertion of the fume extractor hood (12); andinserting the fume extractor hood (12), wherein the plug connection is automatically produced.
- Method according to claim 6, characterised by mounting the centring stub pipe (24) either at the connection end of the exhaust air opening (4) or at the exhaust air opening (4) of the fume extractor hood (12).
- Method according to claim 6, characterised bypositioning the centring stub pipe before insertion of the fume extractor hood (12) into the space in a position which also corresponds with or approximates its position after insertion of the fume extractor hood (12); andconnecting the connection end of the exhaust air duct (4) with the centring stub pipe (24).
