Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Abgaswärmetauscher (1) mit Paaren schalenförmiger Wärmetauscherplatten (6), jedes Paar schalenförmiger Wärmetauscherplatten (6) bildet einen Strömungskanal (9) für das eine Mittel, indem sie am umlaufenden Randflansch spiegelbildlich so zusammengefügt und verbunden sind, daß der Randflansch der einen Wärmetauscherplatte (6) nach einer Seite und der Randflansch der anderen Wärmetauscherplatte (6) zur entgegengesetzten Seite gerichtet ist, sowie mit Öffnungen in den Wärmetauscherplatten, die auf einer gemeinsamen Linie liegen, um den Sammel-und den Verteilerkanal für das eine Mittel zu bilden und mit zwischen den erwähnten Strömungskanälen angeordneten weiteren Strömungskanälen für das andere Mittel.
Bei diesem Abgaswärmetauscher sollen die Fertigungskosten weiter gesenkt werden und außerdem soll eine höhere Sicherheit gegen Vermischen des Abgases mit dem Kühlwasser erreicht werden, bei gleichzeitig geringem Druckverlust auf der Abgasseite. Erfindungsgemäß wird das dadurch erreicht, daß der flüssigkeitsgekühlte Abgaswärmetauscher (1) in gehäuseloser Bauweise ausgeführt ist, daß die Wärmetauscherplatten (6) auskragende Bereiche (7) aufweisen und in diesen Bereichen (7) den Verteiler - und den Sammelraum für das Kühlwasser ausbilden, daß sich die Strömungskanäle (14) für das Abgas etwa auf geradem Weg durch den Wärmetauscher erstrecken und an gegenüberliegenden Enden in Rohrböden (13) münden und daß mindestens eine der zwei Arten von Strömungskanälen (9; 14) eine solche Oberflächenstruktur (22) aufweist, daß die vollflächige Berührung zwischen den Strömungskanälen (9 und 14) ausgeschlossen ist.
