Um ein Wegfließen des Klebers bzw. Wegschwimmen des Kunststoffrahmens 7 in
der Bindezeit des Klebers zu vermeiden, sind seine Klebeseiten mit umlaufenden Stützrillen 8
versehen. Zur Aufnahme des Scheibeneinfaßprofils 9 hat der Kunststoffrahmen 7 ein annähernd
C-förmiges Profil. In dieses Profil wird der Fuß des Scheibeneinfaßprofils 9 eingesteckt.
Dabei greift die vordere Profilkante in einen Schlitz 10 im Scheibeneinfaßprofil 9 ein.
Außerdem umgreift das randäußere Dichtlippenpaar 11 die Wand 2. Das um den Wandausschnitt
laufende Scheibeneinfaßprofil 9 liegt damit soweit fest, daß die Schutzscheibe 5 mit
drei Seiten zwischen ein randinneres Dichtlippenpaar 12 geschoben werden kann, wonach die
vierte Seite mit einem Haken oder Schraubenzieher eingehebelt wird. Die Schutzscheibe 5 ist
damit bündig zur Fahrzeugaußenhaut positioniert. Durch den Verschluß des Scheibeneinfaßprofils
9 mit einem etwas härter eingestellten Füllerprofil 13 ist das Anzeigegerät 4 gegen
schädliche Umwelteinflüsse geschützt. Dieses Füllerprofil 13 kann manuell eingesetzt werden
und läßt sich auch ohne spezielle Werkzeuge problemlos wieder herausnehmen. Dies ist
wichtig, um bei einem defekten Anzeigegerät 4 einen schnellen und damit kostengünstigen
Austausch zu gewährleisten. Durch die spezielle Art des Schliffes der Scheibenkanten 14 der
Schutzscheibe 5 , die Kanten sind zur Innenseite der Schutzscheibe 5 hin abgeschrägt, sowie
durch die elastische Einbettung der Schutzscheibe 5 in dem Scheibeneinfaßprofil 9 wird ein
hohes Widerstandsmoment bei Zug- bzw. Druckkräften erreicht, die an der Außenseite der
Schutzscheibe 5 wirken können. Außerdem stützt sich das speziell für hohe Außenkräfte konstruierte
Scheibeneinfaßprofil 9 in dem elastischen Kunststoffrahmen 7 ab, wodurch es möglich
wird, beträchtliche mechanische Schwingungen zu dämpfen. Diese entstehen z.B. bei
