Die Schutzscheibe 5 ist damit bündig zur Fahrzeugaußenhaut positioniert. Durch den Verschluß des Scheibeneinfaßprofils 9 mit einem etwas härter eingestellten Füllerprofil 13 ist das Anzeigegerät 4 gegen schädliche Umwelteinflüsse geschützt. Dieses Füllerprofil 13 kann manuell eingesetzt werden und läßt sich auch ohne spezielle Werkzeuge problemlos wieder herausnehmen. Dies ist wichtig, um bei einem defekten Anzeigegerät 4 einen schnellen und damit kostengünstigen Austausch zu gewährleisten.
