Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe ausgehend von einem gattungsgemäßen Führungsschlitten nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 durch die Merkmale des kennzeichnenden Teils des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Demnach ist der Führungsschlitten bezüglich der Außenkontur symmetrisch aufgebaut und weist im eingebauten Zustand keine über das C-Profil herausstehenden Teile auf. Darüber hinaus weist der Führungsschlitten auf seiner Stirnseite einen durchgehenden Schlitz auf, der parallel zu den Seitenwandungen verläuft. Zur Sicherung sind Verbindungsschrauben 26, 28 und 30 vorgesehen, wobei die Verbindungsschrauben 26 und 28 gleichzeitig zur Festlegung des Bolzens 24 dienen, wie zuvor ausgeführt. Im unteren Kunststofformteil 36 des Schlittens 10 ist eine Führung 40 für den als eigenes Kunststofformteil ausgebildeten Riegel 14 integriert. Diese Führung besteht im wesentlichen aus zwei parallelen Enden, zwischen denen der Riegel 14 längsverschieblich geführt ist. Die Bewegungsrichtung des Riegels 14 verläuft unter 90° zu der Bewegungsrichtung des Führungsschlittens 10. Auf seiner Oberseite ist an dem Riegel 14 ein Füh- rungszapfen 42 angespritzt. Dieser Führungszapfen 42 wirkt mit einer Kulissenführung 44 zusammen, die an einem Schiebeelement 46 ausgebildet ist. Das Schiebeelement 46 ist längsverschieblich im Führungsschlitten 10 gelagert und stützt sich gegen eine Druckfeder, die das Schiebeelement in einer Ausgangsposition hält, ab. Das Schiebeelement 46 kann entgegen der Kraft der Druckfeder 48 über den Handzug 20, der am Ansatz 48 am Schiebeelement angreift, verschoben werden. Durch diese Längsverschiebung des Schiebeelements 46 wird der Riegel 14 über den Führungszapfen 42 in seiner Position verschoben. Dies kann anhand der Fig. 5 verdeutlicht werden. Nach Loslassen des Handzugs wird das Schiebeelement 46 durch den Federdruck entgegen der Zugrichtung des Handzugs bewegt, so daß der Führungszapfen 42 mit dem Riegel 14 entlang dem Kurvenverlauf der Kulissenführung zum Punkt 3 gelenkt wird. In diesem Zustand ist der Riegel 14 seitlich entlang der Führung 40 gemäß Fig. 4 nach innen in den Führungsschlitten 10 hineingezogen, so daß hier der entriegelte Zustand erreicht ist. Zum Verriegeln wird dann das Schiebeelement 46 über den Handzug wieder nach unten bewegt.
