In einer Geräteblende 1 eines nicht näher dargestellten Haushaltsgerätes ist gemäß
Fig. 1 ein mehrteiliger Drehschalter 3 aus Kunststoff drehbar und versenkbar gehaltert.
Die Drehbewegung des Drehschalters 3 ist auf eine mit ihm drehfest verbindbare
Welle 5 einer axial unverschiebbar hinter der Geräteblende 1 gehalterten Schalteinheit
7 des Haushaltsgerätes übertragbar. Dazu weist der Drehschalter 3 eine topfförmige
Kappe 9 auf, die in einem kreisförmigen Schalterausschnitt 11 der Geräteblende 1
möglichst spaltfrei angeordnet ist. Die rückseitig offene Kappe 9 ist mit einem Abdeckring
13 verschlossen und bildet dadurch einen Aufnahmeraum für ein nachfolgend
beschriebenes Kardangelenk zum Ausgleich eines möglichen Achsversatzes zwischen
der Welle 5 und dem Schalterausschnitt 11 der Geräteblende 1 bzw. dem Drehschalter
3. Das Kardangelenk besteht gemäß Fig. 2 aus einem Basisring 15, einem Kupplungsring
17 und einer Achshülse 19. In der Achshülse 19 ist axial verschiebbar eine Betätigungswelle
21 drehfest gehaltert. Zur Realisierung der Versenkbarkeit des Drehschalters
3 ist zwischen der Achshülse 19 und der Innenseite der Kappe 9 eine Feder 22
angeordnet (Fig.1). Beim Drücken auf die Kappe 9 wird diese entgegen der Kraft der
Feder 22 in den Schalterausschnitt 11 versenkt, bis die Kappe 9 etwa bündig in der
Geräteblende 1 angeordnet ist. Dabei gleitet die hohle Achshülse 19 über die hohle
Betätigungswelle 21 auf die Schalteinheit 7 zu, welche Betätigungswelle 21 axial unverschiebbar

Basisring 15 Halterungsausklinkungen 31 vorgesehen. Beim Stecken des Basisrings
15 in das hohle Innere der Kappe 9 werden zur Vorpositionierung zunächst einige der
Halterungsausklinkungen 31 auf die Montagezapfen 23 der Kappe 9 gesteckt. Dann
wird der Basisring 15 bis zu einem nicht gezeigten Anschlag im Inneren der Kappe 9 in
diese geschoben, wobei die Halterungsrippen 25 der Kappe 9 in die Halterungsausklinkungen
31 des Basisringes 15 ragen. Dadurch ist der Basisring 15 drehfest mit der
Kappe 9 verbunden. An der dem Markierungsstift 29 abgewandten Seite sind an dem
Basisring 15 zwei einander gegenüberliegende Führungsrippen 33 und zwei ebenfalls
einander gegenüberliegende Führungsausklinkungen 35 vorgesehen. Entsprechend
weist der Kupplungsring 17 zwei Führungsstifte 37 und zwei Führungsschlitze 39 auf.
Durch die entsprechende Ausgestaltung der korrespondierenden Führungselemente
des Basisrings 15 des Kupplungsringes 17 ist dieser an dem Basisring 15 gemäß Fig.
2 horizontal verschiebbar geführt und geeignet, sicher auch größere Drehmomente zu
übertragen. Um eine vertikale Verschiebbarkeit der Achshülse 19 an dem Kupplungsring
