Auch von außen ist bei entsprechender Zugriffsberechtigung eine Abfrage der abgespeicherten Daten und ein etwaiger Eingriff auf Stell- und Steuereinrichtungen, die an den Bordcomputer angeschlossen sind, möglich. Im Rahmen der bekannten Maßnahmen werden Zustandsdaten der Waggons erfaßt und zur weiteren Auswertung an eine oder mehrere zentrale Leitstellen weitergeleitet. Bei Vorhandensein einer entsprechenden Sensorik können die Fahrtstrecke und die Zahl der Rangierstöße exakt erfaßt werden, was z. B. eine kilometerbezogene Abrechnung des Fahrzeugbetriebs, die Planung von Instandhaltungen u. dgl. ermöglicht. Sicherheitsrelevante Betriebsdaten, z. B. die Lagertemperatur eines heißlaufenden Radlagers, können über die Langstreckenkommunikationsanbindung der Leitstelle gemeldet und von dort an den Zugführer weitergeleitet werden. Bei Tunneldurchfahrten und im gebirgigen Gelände kann die Datenübertragung jedoch erheblich eingeschränkt sein. zwischen dem Triebfahrzeug 1 und den Waggons 2
innerhalb des Zugverbundes hergestellt. Außerdem sind alle
Fahrzeuge 1, 2 über die Langstreckenkommunikationsanbindung
4 an eine oder mehrere Zentralen 5, z. B. Betriebsleitzentralen,
Leitzentralen von Bahnbetrieben, Wagenbetreibern,
Transporteuren u. dgl. angeschlossen. Bei der Langstreckenkommunikationsanbindung
4 kann auf kommerzielle, datenfunkfähige
Telekommunikationsnetze (z. B. GSM, Modacom,
Inmarsat, Eutelsat, Orbcomm, Iridium, Globalstar) zurückgegriffen
werden. Über die Langstreckenkommunikationsanbindung
ist eine Kommunikation zwischen jedem Fahrzeug 1, 2
und der Zentrale 5 unabhängig von der Zugeinbindung
gewährleistet.The

an die Zentrale 5. Fehlen ein oder mehrere
Waggons, wird eine Unvollständigkeitsmeldung an die Zentrale
5 abgegeben, so daß Maßnahmen zum Abgleich der Plan-und
Istdaten eingeleitet werden können. Ist eine ordnungsgemäße
Konstellation des Zugverbundes aus systemtechnischer
Sicht gegeben, werden die Sende/Empfangseinheiten der
Waggon-Kommunikationsausrüstungen 3b in einen Sleep-Modus

Standby-Betrieb ist der Energiebedarf der Kommunikationsausrüstungen

Erfindung ist an die Sensorschnittstelle der Waggon-Kommunikationsausrüstungen
3b zumindest ein Entgleisungsdetektor,
also ein elektronisches System zur Erkennung von
Entgleisungen, angeschlossen. Wird nun im Zugverbund eine
Entgleisung detektiert, so wird umgehend das Kurzstreckenmedium
der Waggon-Kommunikationsausrüstung geschaltet und
die detektierte Entgleisung praktisch verzögerungsfrei
an die Kommunikationsausrüstung 3a des Triebfahrzeuges
1 gemeldet. Über die Benutzerdialogschnittstelle 7 erhält
der Fahrzeugführer ein Signal und kann sicherheitstechnische
Maßnahmen einleiten. Darüber hinaus kann, vorzugsweise
mit einer geringen Zeitverzögerung, eine automatische
Bremsung oder eine andere Reaktion über die Lokausrüstung
eingeleitet werden. Zusätzlich wird die detektierte Meldung
durch die Langstreckenkommunikationsanbindung 4 an die
