Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben von mehrstufigen Turboverdichtern (2, 22, 42) mit mehreren sich gegenseitig beeinflussenden Reglern (15, 35, 55), bei dem jede Verdichterstufe eigene Pumpgrenzregelventile (5, 25, 45) aufweist, die jeweils in die Ansaugleitungen (1, 21, 41) der eigenen Verdichterstufe (2, 22, 42) abblasen.
Die Regelung erfolgt über Durchflußrechner (6, 26, 46) zur Berechnung des Ansaugdurchflusses sowie über Rechner (7, 27, 47) für die Ermittlung der Förderhöhe. Ein Soll-Ist-Wert-Vergleicher (12, 32, 52) ermittelt die Differenz aus Sollwert (Förderhöhe) minus Istwert (Durchfluß) und bewirkt, wenn der Istwert im Verhältnis zum Sollwert zu klein ist, eine graduelle Öffnung der entsprechenden Pumpgrenzregelventile (5, 25 bzw. 45), bis der Istdurchfluß genau dem von der jeweiligen Förderhöhe abhängigen Solldurchfluß entspricht. Die Regelung erfolgt über eine Maximalauswahl (14, 34, 54), die den Pumpgrenzreglern (15, 35, 55) mit den Signalleitungen (16, 36, 56) zum Pumpgrenzregelventil (5, 25, 45) vorgeschaltet ist.
