Abstract

The envelope (1) is made from three sections. It has a front face (2) and a base face (3) that is positioned opposite the front face to form a storage pocket with an insertion opening, and a foldable flap (4) that closes the insertion opening. An attachment tab (7) is connected top one of the three parts to attach the envelope before it is used to an external support. To use the envelope in its assembled form it must be detached from its attachment tab.

Description

The present invention relates to an envelope or pocket.

We know in particular from GB-A-2 260 531, envelopes or sleeves which are essentially made up of three constituent parts, namely, a front face and a mutually opposite bottom face so as to form a document storage pocket that has a opening to insert documents on the one hand, and a shutter folding closing of said opening made of material with the front side on the other hand, at least one leg attachment having come in one piece with one of the three constituent parts of the envelope to secure the envelope, before use, to an external support.

Even if such envelopes can be easily detached from their hanging tabs, the structure of these envelopes is not very resistant and the realization of hanging tabs causes loss of material important.

The object of the invention is to remedy the drawbacks mentioned above and this, by a simple and effective means.

To this end, according to the invention, an envelope of the aforementioned type is essentially characterized in that the front side came in one piece with the bottom side and two side tabs, the bottom face being folded over the two side tabs themselves folded inwards pocket, in that the hooking tab came from material with a first lateral edge of the bottom face in look from one of the side legs of the front face, and that the hanging tab is detachable so after removal, the envelope can be used under its integral form.

Thus, the envelope according to the present invention can be immobilized on any support, including other envelopes, via one or more tabs while being carried out while minimizing the loss of material and, after detaching the tab attachment, using the conventional form envelope, ready to use.

  • la patte d'accrochage est désolidarisable de la face de fond selon une ligne d'affaiblissement, ménagée le long de l'un des bords latéraux de la face de fond ;
  • une deuxième patte d'accrochage est venue de matière avec un deuxième bord latéral de la face de fond opposé au premier bord latéral ;
  • l'enveloppe est insérée dans un emballage, l'ensemble étant perforé au niveau de la patte d'accrochage pour être suspendu à un moyen de suspension. L'enveloppe peut ainsi être suspendue à un présentoir pour en faciliter l'utilisation ou la vente ;
The envelope according to the invention may optionally also include one or more of the following characteristics:
  • the hooking lug can be detached from the bottom face along a line of weakness, formed along one of the lateral edges of the bottom face;
  • a second hooking tab has come integrally with a second lateral edge of the bottom face opposite the first lateral edge;
  • the envelope is inserted in a package, the assembly being perforated at the hooking tab to be suspended from a suspension means. The envelope can thus be hung on a display to facilitate its use or sale;
  • two translucent windows are carried by the front face and the bottom face; and
  • a translucent window extends from the front face to the bottom face.

The present invention also relates to a set of envelopes comprising a stack of envelopes as defined above, the attachment tabs of the successive envelopes being joined together other. Envelopes can therefore be sold under form of notebooks from which they are detached a to one without the remaining envelopes scattering.

Preferably, the hanging tabs are made joined to each other by bonding.

Advantageously still, the set includes in addition a rigid bottom and a flexible cover.

La présente invention a en outre pour objet un procédé de fabrication d'enveloppes telles que définies ci-dessus, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à ;

The present invention further relates to a method of manufacturing envelopes as defined above, the method comprising the steps of;
  • cutting the developed shape of the envelope from a sheet of material, including the hooking tab made of material with a first lateral edge of the bottom face; and
  • fold and fold down the bottom face on the two lateral tabs, themselves being folded towards the inside of the front face to form the storage pocket provided with said hooking tab which is detachable so that after tearing, the envelope can be used in its integral form.

An embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:

The envelope 1 according to the present invention and shown in Figure 1 consists essentially of three parts: a front face 2, a bottom face 3 and a folding shutter 4. These three constituent parts 2, 3 and 4 came together, for example in a sheet of paper, or in a cardboard sheet or else still in any other material. In the description below, we are referring to an envelope, but we can also apply the invention to a pocket which differentiates from the envelope by the location of the opening insertion of documents or objects.

The flap 4 is located on a first edge longitudinal 12 of the front face 2 opposite a second edge longitudinal 13 of this face from which extends the bottom face 3. This folding flap is substantially trapezoidal shape.

The front face 2 is furthermore integrally formed with two side legs 5 and 6. These two side legs are substantially trapezoidal in shape and extend on either side and on the other side of the front face 2, along its two lateral edges 14 and 15.

Le bord latéral 16 est de manière avantageuse constitué par une ligne d'affaiblisse-ment 8, délimitant ainsi la face de fond 3 de la patte d'accrochage 7.Preferably, this hooking tab 7 has come of material with the bottom face 3, along one of its 16 two side edges 16 and 17, to be opposite one side tabs 5, 6 of the front face 2. The edge side 16 is advantageously constituted by a weakening line 8, thus delimiting the bottom face 3 of the hanging tab 7.

The front face 2 and the bottom face 3 are substantially rectangular in shape, the surface of the face bottom 3 being less than that of the front face 2.

The manufacturing process of the envelope 1 consists to cut, from a reel or a sheet of paper, the developed form of the envelope such as shown in Figure 1. This cut is made at using rotary knives or cookie cutters, only weakening line 8 is made with a knife special side in which a portion of the cutting edge has been replaced by a dotted line. We thus see that the presence of the lug 7 does not cause material expenditure greater than a conventional envelope since this tab is inscribed in the width of the coil or in the width of the sheet necessary for the realization of the front face 2 and of the two lateral tabs 5 and 6.

The realization of the envelope then consists in fold back the two side tabs 5 and 6 as well as the face bottom 3 on the front face 2, then to be joined by bonding the bottom face 3 on the two side tabs 5 and 6. A document storage pocket 20 is thus formed having an insertion opening 21 opposite the flap folding 4.

In a manner known per se, the folding flap 4 wears an adhesive strip protected by a tab detachable 10. This tab 10 is intended to be removed when you want to close the envelope by the flap folding 4. Alternatively, the folding flap 4 can be gummed, sticker or have not undergone any treatment.

The envelope 1 previously described can be, thanks to its hooking lug 7, fixed on any support exterior by conventional fastening techniques such that stapling, stitching, binding, riveting, broaching, perforation or even collage. In this last case, the fastening tab 7 carries a glued area 22 on one of its faces (Figure 2).

The envelope used has, after removing the hooking lug, an integral shape identical to any what a classic envelope, that is to say that the bottom face 3 returns to its original shape, the lateral edges 16 and 17 being glued on the lateral legs 5 and 6, set back by compared to the edges of the front face 2, thus delimiting a classic storage pocket.

As a variant, a second hooking tab can come in one piece with the bottom face 3, along the edge lateral 17 opposite the lateral edge 16 carrying the first hanging tab 7.

A first use more particularly interesting is to, as shown in the Figure 4, forming groups of envelopes 11 by making a stack of envelopes 1 which are secured to each other others by their attachment tabs 7.

When you want to use an envelope part of a group of envelopes thus gathered, it suffices then to exert a traction on this one to dissociate this envelope of its hooking tab 7 along the weakening line 8. The hooking tab 7 of the envelope used remains integral with the strain formed with the other fastening tabs 7 of the rest of the envelopes 1.

In addition, a marking of the detachable tab 7 and of the corresponding envelope provides traceability of this envelope when in use.

As a variant, it is understood that the attachment tab 7 can for example be located in the extension of the shutter folding 4, opposite the front face 2.

A second advantageous use of the envelope described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3 consists in producing, at using such envelopes, 30 envelope notebooks such as that shown in Figure 5 and having a rigid bottom 31 connected to a flexible cover 32. The envelopes are then secured to the bottom 31 and the cover 32 as described above. After use, hooking tabs 7 form a heel which remains fixed with the background and cover.

Another preferred use of the envelope according to the invention is shown in Figure 6 and consists in making a bag 40 comprising an envelope 1 such as that described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, which is housed in a thermoplastic film 41 serving as protection. The film 41 and the envelope 1 are perforated in correspondence at a point 42 of the hanging tab 7 in order to be hanging on a hook of a gondola for example. The envelope can thus be sold individually without suffering alteration of his condition.

This envelope has a or more translucent windows 50 which are carried by the front face 2 and / or the bottom face 3. The tab attachment 7 is perforated at 51. This envelope can well be hung on a display stand and the content is visible from the outside. Alternatively, the windows 50 can come together to form a single continuous window 55 (Figure 8) which extends from the front face 2 to the bottom face 3, passing through the longitudinal edge 13. At front face, the window 55 extends to the level of the folding shutter 4 by one end 55a.

In still other variants, one or more envelopes 1 can be inserted into a journal by being for example, stapled by their hooking tab at the level the binding of the said journal. This allows you to post a reply coupon also housed in the journal. The paw can also be pinned or stapled on any type of support.
