Description

The invention relates to a method for producing a device for treating Textile fibers, according to the preamble of the patent claims 1 and 2.

In the production of annular opening rollers Of the aforementioned type, it is customary to avoid of expensive one-piece steel ring steel wire rod designs the steel wire with his Foot in one provided on the surface of the ring helical groove by retraction set. The formation of the ring of aluminum has proven to be cheaper than the out Steel, when using aluminum by pressurization the area of the groove a safer Anchoring of the wire is guaranteed. Problematic However, this is the one after the production the ring steel wire unit required hardening of the Tips of the wound wires z. B. by electrochemical Coating. Further, methods are the preamble of claim 1 of WO 91/15605 known. Further is from the WO 94/05837 a Opening roller known in which the outer parts of the processing elements with a friction-reducing Coating are provided.

A method with the features of the preamble of Claim 1 is given in US 4,211,583.

The invention is based on the object To create procedures, with the help of which elimination the disadvantages mentioned in a relatively simple manner Opening rollers or circular combs of combing machines can be produced with comparatively longer service lives are.

This task is characterized by that in the characterizing Parts of claims 1 and 2 specified developments solved the known method. In this way created opening rollers are characterized by high Wear resistance of the sawtooth tips also over relatively long periods of use. this is also valid for round combs, whose highest burdened foremost first Wire sections as separate components after their shape adaptation undergo a curing process can.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are in the specified dependent claims.

As the drawing shows, there is an in Form of a cylindrical ring 1 made of aluminum existing Opening roller main body with one in Fig. 1 only provided schematically indicated helical groove 2, in the one previously converted in spiral form All steel wire 3 is anchored. The sectional views Figs. 2 and 3 show that in the outer surface of the cylindrical ring 1 screwed helical groove. 2 is bounded by lateral webs 4 and 4 ', which are parallel to each other and to the transverse Groove 5 extend, so that the groove 2 is a practical has rectangular cross-section.

Figs. 4 and 5 can be removed that the Gamitur forming, formed in the form of the sawtooth wire All steel wire 3 a foot 6 and one of this outgoing blade 7 with a series of saw teeth 8 includes. Fig. 5 leaves one on one side of the im Cross-section rectangular foot 6 provided, located in Detect wire longitudinal direction extending longitudinal groove 9.

Dazu dient eine am Fuß 6 des Ganzstahldrahtes 3 seitlich angeformte Schulter 10.The cross section of the foot 6 is that the groove 2 adapted. The foot 6 is thus pressed into the groove. This is done at the foot 6 of the all-steel wire 3 laterally molded shoulder 10th

According to the sawtooth wire after preparation of the teeth in a punching process with subsequent tooth hardening to increase the Tooth strength against deformation forces then in their Form adapted by pre-bending to that of the ring 1, d. H. converted into the helical shape shown in Fig. 1. Subsequently to an electrochemical deburring they undergo a surface hardening process by order one Diamond / Ni layer, if necessary after previous coating with a base nickel layer, subjected.

The mentioned diamond / Ni coating a Strength of about 0.5 to 2 mμ secures the desired particularly high hardness of the surface of the saw teeth, On the other hand, the all-steel wire 3 remains in the range his foot 6 for the slight bending in the Mounting on the ring 1 - or a solid roller carrying it - sufficiently flexible. The coating on the endless tape would not be feasible, due to the predetermined helical shape when rolling into the groove not tear because of the only slight bending.

The mentioned impressions and fixations of the helically pre-bent sawtooth wire 3, after being pushed over the ring 1, in the helical groove 2 is done in the in Fig. 6th and 7 way indicated. The wire 3 is namely at Introduction into the groove 2 in contact with the groove base 5 brought, and practically at the same time with the help of one not illustrated narrow pressure roller of indicated by an arrow 11 outer region of the a web 4 so radially acted upon that ring material from the area of the pressurized web 4 is pressed into the longitudinal groove 9 of the sawtooth wire 3 will be and for a sufficiently strong mechanlsche Connection of the ring 1 with the wire 3 provides.

Der Rundkammträger 12 ist mittels Schrauben 14 am nicht gezeigten Untergrund lösbar befestigt.FIG. 9 illustrates a circular comb carrier 12, on the succession several wire sections 13 are set. The circular comb carrier 12 is by means of screws 14 on the substrate, not shown releasably secured.

The teeth 8 of the individual wire sections each have a mutual distance, the changes from section to section. The smallest distance is at the rearmost section in the effective direction.

The frontmost in the direction of action, first section 13th thus has teeth with one compared to the next and the following sections greatest distance.

Inside, d. H. on her the Rundkammträger 12 facing side, own the different Wire sections 13 a to the curvature of the outer surface the Rundkammträgers 12 adapted curvature. They can therefore be easily or two-component adhesive sufficiently firmly fix the outer surface of the circular comb carrier, if not a mechanical fastening is preferred.

The strongest teeth are each in the effective direction foremost first wire section 13 of the wear stress through her particularly intense Contact with the fiber material to be combed, z. B. nonwoven fabric subjected. By the invention Pretreatment of the first wire section 13 is achieved that virtually all sections about the same time worn out. It then takes the Change of the complete comb.

Analogously, it is when using comparatively more stable compact rollers instead of cylindrical Rings 1 also possible, a worn sawtooth wire remove and roll the rollers with a new one Wire to equip.
