Definitions
- the invention relates to a plant for silver refining using the Möbius process in an electrolysis tank between flat anodes, the surface of which is at least partially is provided with an anode bag, arranged stripping cathode sheets.
- cast anodes are used which are surrounded by anode bags are the falling anode pieces and the anode sludge.
- the anode bags are emptied, inverted and rinsed out to extract the anode sludge which is processed further.
- anode sludge already during the electrolysis to wash away - there is also a need for continuous electrolysis - with others Words that the anode bag remains in the electrolysis tank, anode material is constantly being replaced and sludge is removed as needed. According to the invention, this is especially important achieved in that the anodes each have at least one suction tube for suctioning Have anode sludge from the anode bag during electrolysis.
- the invention provides use current-conducting anode baskets that are charged with raw silver granulate and have a sieve bottom, under which suction is carried out. You can out any metal that is insoluble under the electrolysis conditions, especially made of titanium.
- the anode bag can surround the anode basket in a known manner or as bottomless sleeve can be inserted into the anode basket, then to the sieve bottom dense bottom piece, in particular made of plastic, is attached.
- the bottom piece there is advantageously at least one settling room with a hopper bottom provided, into which the suction pipe protrudes.
- a characteristic of the invention is that at least one Connection line between the anodes is provided via the anode slurry Can be extracted from any or all sacks and advantageously rinsing liquid under pressure is feedable.
- the cathodically separated and stripped pure silver from The bottom of the Möbius cells by hand using a ramp using a scratch pulled out. It is now proposed to use the electrolysis tank for this purpose with a funnel bottom for collecting and an automatic conveyor, in particular a feeder for the removal of stripped silver Mistake.
- the conveyor can be a scraper conveyor, but is particularly a Pipe conveyor with a screw or spiral as a conveyor.
- FIG. 1 schematically shows the arrangement of a Möbius cell and FIGS. 2 to 4 show details from FIG. 1.
- a bottom extraction 5 is flanged and with a known tube conveyor (e.g. spiral conveyor) 6 connected to the drive motor 7, the metallic silver stripped from the cathode sheets by means of a slide 8 provided downpipe 9 to a collection tank 10 promotes.
- tube conveyor e.g. spiral conveyor
- FIGS. 2-4 The construction of the flat anodes A can be seen in detail from FIGS. 2-4.
- Anode baskets 11 made of titanium or another in the electrolysis conditions for Silver insoluble metal that is used to conduct electricity and with chunky raw silver are coated and have a sieve plate 12, on which a preferably Plastic-provided bottom part 13 is flanged tightly, forming the collecting funnel 14, into the anode sludge through the sieve bottom as well as some raw silver sinks and protrude into the suction pipes 15, through which the Collection funnels 14 accumulating material during the electrolysis as needed any or all of the collection funnels can be sucked off.
- anode bag which is used to collect anode sludge and at the usual Möbius electrolysis when switching off the anode change system is turned over and rinsed out, a bottomless sleeve 16 (Fig. 4) on the edge thereof is tightly connected to the sieve plate 12.
- the material sucked out of the collecting funnels 14 goes to a filter or one Centrifuge and then for further processing - as is known, on gold and Platinum metals worked up.
- an anode basket can also be provided, which does not seal Bottom part is executed, i.e. below the sieve plate, that of at least one Suction pipe 15 is penetrated, has no bottom.
- the suction pipes 15 can also be designed so that they can both for suction also for the previous whirling up of the anode sludge by adding liquid Print media can serve.
