Description
Abgasanlagen bei modernen Motoren müssen für immer höhere Temperaturen und längere Betriebszeiten ausgelegt werden. Dichtkörper aus nicht metallischen Werkstoffen werden den Belastungen nicht mehr gerecht. Die Abdichtung unmittelbar auf den Abgasrohren birgt oft auch Probleme, da die Rohre nicht die notwendige Oberflächentopograhie aufweisen. Durch eine unzureichende Abdichtung gelangt Sauerstoff in den Abgasstrom. Diese Sauerstoffanreicherung wird von der Motorelektronik erfaßt und veranlaßt sofort eine Kraftstoffanreicherung im Kraftstoff-Luft-Gemisch. Hierdurch strömen mehr luftverunreinigende Stoffe in die Atmosphäre.
Die Erfindung ist anhand von Ausführungsbeispielen in der Zeichnung dargestellt und wird im folgenden näher erläutert.

Diese Hintereinanderschaltung von Sicken 6 erzeugt mehrere Abdichtzonen, die eine Mikroabdichtung gewährleistet und zwar unabhängig von der Oberflächenbeschaffenheit der Rohre 2,2'.
Wie in der Figur 2 dargestellt, können die Abdichtzonen beliebig erweitert werden, indem die Endbereiche 12,13 der Scheibe 7' soweit verlängert sind, daß sie aus der Kammer 5 herausragen und um einen Winkel Alpha gleich 90° umgebogen werden. Diese können dann ebenfalls noch Sicken aufweisen. In der Figur 3 ist eine vereinfachte Ausgestaltung der Kammer 5' dargestellt. Die Kammer 5' weist lediglich einen Boden 10' und eine Flanke 8' auf Aus der Figur 4 ist eine alternative Ausgestaltung der Erfindung dargestellt, bei der ein Ring 14 in die Kammer 5 eingepreßt wird. In diesem Fall kann der Gegenflansch 4' symmetrisch zum Flansch 3 ausgebildet sein. In der Figur 5 ist eine Scheibe 7' gemäß Figur 2 verwendet worden, die mit den aus Figur 4 offenbarten Flanschen 3,4 zusammenwirkt.
Claims (7)
- Lösbare Rohrverbindung für die Abdichtung von Abgasrohren bei Brennkraftmaschinen, mit einem Flansch mit einer Kammer zur Aufnahme einer mit Sicken versehenen, ringförmigen Scheibe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sicken (6) der Scheibe (7,7') an mindestens einer Flanke (8,9) und am Boden (10) der Kammer (5,5') abdichtend anliegen und ein in die Kammer (5,5') einführbarer Steckkörper die Sicken (6) mit definierter Dichtpressung zur Anlage bringt.
- Rohrverbindung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Steckkörper ein Ring (14) ist.
- Rohrverbindung nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Steckkörper ein, aus einem Gegenflansch (4,4') einstückig herausgeformter, axial gerichteter Vorsprung (11) ist.
- Rohrverbindung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Scheibe (7') einen aus der Kammer (5,5') ragenden Endbereich (12,13) aufweist, der um einen Winkel Alpha gleich 90 Grad umgebogen ist und der ebenfalls eine Sicke (6) aufweist, die zur Radialabdichtung an einer Fläche des Flansches (3) anliegt.
- Rohrverbindung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dicke der Scheibe (7,7') im Bereich von 0,1 bis 0,3 mm liegt.
- Rohrverbindung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Scheibe (7, 7') aus Federstahl besteht.
- Rohrverbindung nach Ansprüchen 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Flansch (3) und der Gegenflansch (4,4') als separate Bauteile ausgebildet sind und mit den Abgasrohren (2,2') stoffschlüssig verbindbar sind.
