Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a press nip for dewatering a material web, in particular a fibrous web such as paper, cardboard or tissue, formed by two against each other pressed rolls, after the press nip at least in the area of the above the material web arranged a substantially along the top Roller extending groove for receiving and removing the from the upper roller centrifuged water is present.
In such devices, it has been found a problem that not enough Water can be collected with the gutter, as this returns to the material web or one running between the upper roller and the material web Press felt drips. The result is an undesirable rewetting of the Material web or for additional moistening of the press felt. The task of Invention, therefore, is the amount of water collected by the gutter as possible simple means to enlarge.
According to the invention this object was achieved in that between the channel and the upper roller forms at least one channel running in the circumferential direction of the roller which is viewed approximately tangentially to the upper roller in the collecting area of the Channel leads and additional measures to increase the air flow in the circumferential direction are hit in the channel.
By increasing the air flow in the duct, the amount of water led to the gutter. Dripping to the material web is therefore efficient Counteracted wisely.
To influence the air flow in the duct it is u. a. possible, preferably in Collection area of the gutter an at least partially acting suction device to arrange. The suction device connected to a vacuum source can also be used in other parts of the channel.
Furthermore, it is possible that at least in the end region of the channel air in the circumferential direction the roller is blown. According to the injector principle, this leads to the formation of negative pressure in the outgoing gap between the material web and the upper roller as well as in the subsequent starting area of the channel.
A third possibility is that air in the direction of the emerging gap blown against the direction of travel between the upper roller and the material web becomes. The air flow divides at the gap, with part of the air flow entering the duct is guided and there amplifies the air flow.
The duct cross-section can also be adapted accordingly to influence the air flow become. For removing the water squeezed out of the material web in the press nip are generally one or more press felts together with the material web passed through the press nip. Should there be a press felt between the top roller and of the material web, this occurs to limit the gap that runs out with respect to the top roller in place of the web, d. H. also that the gutter is arranged between this press felt and the upper roller. In this case it is advantageous if the upper roller has a profiled, preferably drilled and / or grooved Has the surface of the jacket. As a result, the water absorption capacity increases the top roller.
trocken bleibt. To better guide the thrown water into the channel, the channel at the beginning of the channel should have a deflector strip running transversely to the material web and preferably touching the press felt.
In addition, the channel should be sealed off from the upper roller in the area of the roller ends and / or after the end of the channel, so that this press area remains dry.
In
In all cases, in addition to the
According to Figure 1, air is in the direction of the emerging gap between the
blown
The other part of the air flow is entrained by the upper press felt 9 and partly
pressed through the press felt 9. As a result, the separation of the paper web from the
upper press felt 9 and the continuation on a between the
In contrast to this, in FIG. 2 there is air in the
Dabei
In the versions, the supplied air originates from a
