Definitions
- the invention relates to a connection socket for a Coaxial cable junction box.
- junction boxes For the distribution of television (TV) signals via Coaxial lines in apartments and houses are nowadays two types of junction boxes are offered, namely junction boxes for branches and junction boxes as an outlet without Possibility of looping through.
- the junction boxes usually have one Fixed branch loss, optionally in the range is from 10 to 20 dB.
- These junction boxes are predominant used for broadband communication networks and have Through loss in the range of 2 to 4 dB.
- the end boxes without looping through for direct satellite reception used in satellite systems with LNC (Low Noise Converter) control are arranged in the receiver because an image directional point-to-point connection for the Control of the LNC is required.
- LNC Low Noise Converter
- the use of Junction boxes for branches is for direct satellite reception very problematic because of the low level of the Satellite signal the high tap loss in connection with the passage loss is not permitted.
- the object of the invention is a connection socket for a To create coaxial cable junction box with which it is possible that several junction boxes are connected in series can without further measures having to be taken.
- This task is done with a connector for solved a coaxial cable junction box in that a incoming and outgoing coaxial cable into the housing the coaxial cable connector are insertable that a Branch coupling to hold one on one Coaxial branch cable located coaxial connector arranged is that a switching element is arranged with a switching contact is that in the unconnected state of the connector Inner conductor of the introduced coaxial cable over the Switch contact are connected that by introducing the Coaxial connector in the socket on the Switch contact existing connection between the inner conductors the incoming and outgoing coaxial cable can be separated, whereby the outgoing coaxial cable is disconnected and at the same time a connection between the inner conductors of the incoming coaxial cable and the coaxial branch cable over the switching element is made.
- the advantage of the arrangement of a switch according to the invention in one socket for coaxial cable is that several Junction boxes with the sockets inserted therein can be connected in series to a coaxial cable can.
- the switch contact of the switch connects in Normal state, that is if there is no coaxial branch cable is connected, the inner conductor of the incoming Coaxial cable with the inner conductor of each outgoing Coaxial cable, so that a looped coaxial cable is present.
- the switch contact of the switch operated, the Disconnected from the outgoing coaxial cable and the Connection to the branch cable is made. That’s all disconnected junction boxes behind it and it is ensures that only one receiver at a time connection loss as low as possible connected to the LNC is how it is required for direct satellite reception.
- FIG. 1 illustrates the field of application for connection sockets according to the invention. So it is now possible that a Coaxial cable loop with several junction boxes AD1 to ADn can be laid one behind the other, with the Connection to the socket of a junction box therefor care is taken that all subsequent connection sockets or junction boxes are disconnected. This will ensures that to an LNC (Low Noice Converter) always only one consumer can be connected.
- LNC Low Noice Converter
- FIG. 1 illustrates the field of application for connection sockets according to the invention.
- FIG 2 is a plan view of a connector AB shown schematically, with arrows the flow of information is specified that in the unwired state, that is without that a coaxial branch cable is plugged in from the Housing G introduced, incoming coaxial cable K1 over a switch with a switch contact SK for outgoing Coaxial cable K2 runs.
- the switching element SE of the switch has not been confirmed, so that the connection via the contact spring KF is made.
- FIG. 3 shows the schematic in a side view Execution of the contacting of the inner conductors IL1 and IL2 via a curved contact spring KF, the one hand Inner conductor IL1 and on the other hand the supply line via the Contact plate KP of the switching contact SK contacted.
- the Contact spring KF can be switched by a switching element SE bend elastically and plunge into an opening of the Contact plate KP, so that the connection can be separated.
- a switching element SE bend elastically and plunge into an opening of the Contact plate KP, so that the connection can be separated.
- Figure 4 also schematically realized in one Top view that a coaxial branch cable is inserted, whereby the switch contact KS is actuated and the connection to Inner conductor IL2 of the outgoing coaxial cable K2 interrupted has been.
- the arrow indicates that the flow of information only in the incoming coaxial cable K1 and via the switching element SE to the inner conductor of the coaxial branch cable, wherein the latter is not apparent from this.
- FIG. 5 shows that by plugging one into one Coaxial branch cable K3 located coaxial connector KS effected switching state.
- the coaxial connector KS is on the Connection coupling AK of the connection socket AB inserted, whereby hereby the contact spring KF of the switching contact SK through a switching element SE is pressed downwards. Doing so the contact to the contact plate KP and thus to the inner conductor IL2 of the outgoing coaxial cable K2 interrupted. All following connection sockets AB2 to ABn of the junction boxes AD2 to ADn are switched off.
- the connection exists now only from the inner conductor IL1 of the incoming coaxial cable K1 to the inner conductor IL3 of the coaxial branch cable K3.
- the Inserting the additional coaxial branch cable affects the Switching state of the coaxial line in front of him is not there this part beforehand through the actuated switch contact is separated. On the other hand, it also becomes one in the back Part of the coaxial connection of an existing connection Coaxial branch cable by connecting another Coaxial branch cable in a previous terminating socket severed. It is therefore always guaranteed that only a single connection is possible.
