Abstract

A road drainage system comprises a base member (16) with a sludge chamber or sludge bucket. An attachment can be fitted to a support ring. The base member consists of plastic. The base member and support ring are arranged separately in the ground and/or concrete, so that the ring partially surrounds the base member.

Description

The invention relates to a street gully with a base body, the mud space or has a floor drain and a sludge bucket, as well as with a Support ring on which an attachment can be arranged.

According to the German standard DIN 4052 "Concrete parts and buckets for street gullies", the street gullies have a concrete part designed as a container with an outlet pipe arranged at a certain height above the floor of the street gully.
The street gullies can also be provided with a floor and an outlet pipe arranged in the floor area. In this case, a sludge bucket is arranged in the street drain.
These street gullies have in common that a support ring rests on the main body of the street gully. An attachment is placed on the support ring. The support ring absorbs the force or the load that acts on the attachment from above or directly on the support ring and transfers the load to the basic body of the street gully.
These concrete street gullies have the disadvantage that they are very difficult to handle during assembly, since they have a very high weight. In addition, the large dead weight also interferes with transportation from the manufacturer to the company that assembles the street gullies and from the company that assembles the street gullies to the final location of the street gully.
In addition, there are problems with warehousing with these street gullies, since the large dead weight also causes problems here.
According to the prior art (EP 0 178 829 A2) street gullies are known which are formed in one piece from plastic. The street drain known according to this document has the outlet pipe in the upper third of the main body of the street drain. A guide surface is arranged in front of the outlet pipe, which extends into the area of the highest water level in the street gully. This training is intended to avoid odors from the street gully.

This street drain, which is part of the prior art, is constructed in a relatively complex manner through the guide surface and through a closable opening arranged in the guide surface.
EP 0 386 696 A1 discloses a heavy-duty floor or street drain with a top frame that is flush with the floor level of a street surface, into which a grating can be inserted, and a base body made of plastic, which either has a mud space or a floor-side drain and a sludge bucket is known. The floor or street drain consists of several assemblies, including a plastic add-on shaft, which is held in the add-on frame and has a fold with a transverse support web into which the grating is inserted. The lower part of the attachment shaft, in which the sludge bucket is also held, plunges into an intermediate piece made of stainless steel, which in turn seals into the drain container.
DE 26 24 706 A discloses a cellar or rain drain which consists of a collecting container, an intermediate piece connected to it and a top piece which is displaceable in height in the intermediate piece. At its upper end, the attachment piece has an L-shaped widened edge into which a cover is inserted, which has a connecting pipe for a gutter to be connected.
From DE 87 06 377 U an inlet for civil engineering and building construction areas is known, which is adjustable both in height and in the angle of inclination and enables a transition to different cross-sectional shapes.
Furthermore, a boar drain box (DE 599 834 C) is known, with a manual shut-off valve and an automatic backflow valve, which rests on a connecting pipe designed as an odor trap, the manual shut-off valve being arranged locally away from the backflow valve flap above the inlet opening of the connecting pipe.

The technical problem underlying the invention is one Specify road drain that is simple in construction and in the Handling is also easy.

This technical problem is solved by the features of claim 1. Because the main body of the street gully is made of plastic, it has a low weight. The support ring is arranged in the ground and / or concrete independently of the main body of the street gully, such that the support ring at least partially encloses the upper area of the street gully without pressure. As a result, the support ring absorbs the entire force acting on the support ring from above (road traffic loads, weights of the frames and gratings) and transmits it to the concrete and the floor in which the support ring is preferably arranged. The main body of the street inlet is no longer exposed to any load. This makes it possible to design the base body in such a way that it no longer has a supporting function, but only has the collecting function of the water and sludge entering the street drain. As a result, the base body of the street inlet can be simple. The structure of the main body of the street gully is only tied to the condition that the main body is self-supporting in the ground, which means that no vertical loads or no traffic loads acting directly from above act on the main body.
The support ring is preferably arranged in such a way that it surrounds the upper region of the street gully without pressure. For this purpose, the inner diameter of the support ring is larger than the outer diameter of the base body. For easier assembly, the support ring is designed in several parts according to the invention. A preferred embodiment is the two-part design. If the support ring is made of concrete, this will make handling easier. On the one hand, only the individual parts of the support ring have to be transported. On the other hand, the parts of the support ring are arranged individually around the base body, which is easier than placing a one-piece support ring.
The support ring is advantageously reinforced with iron, steel and / or plastic fibers. As a result, the support ring has greater stability and thus greater resistance to breakage. The support ring can advantageously also consist of plastic.
The ends of the parts of the support ring are designed such that the parts of the support ring can be positioned relative to one another in such a way that the parts of the support ring form an upper plane on which the attachment or the grate lies flat. As a result, the ends are advantageously stepped or with dovetail-shaped and / or groove-shaped ends. The base body is advantageously formed in one piece from plastic. This is useful for a simplified manufacturing process.
According to the invention, the base body can also be designed to be height-adjustable. In this case, an extension piece, which is tubular in shape, is arranged in the upper region of the base body. The extension piece advantageously engages in the upper area of the base body. However, it is also possible for the tubular extension piece to overlap the upper region of the base body. According to the invention, at least one sleeve seal is provided between the pipe and the base body. However, it is also possible to dispense with the sleeve seal, since plastic parts can usually be produced in such a way that the base body and the extension piece lie flat and close to one another.
According to the invention, the base body has an articulated outlet pipe piece. This has the advantage that the connection between the base body and a connecting pipe lying in the ground can be made simply by placing the outlet pipe piece over the articulated bearing in such a way that it points in the direction of the connecting pipe. The pipe sections can then simply be put together. No further aids are required for connecting the base body and a connecting pipe.
According to the invention, the base body consists of plastic. Construction materials for the base body are polymers, polycondensates or polyadducts. Polyethylene (PE 32, PE 40, PE 63, PE 80 or PE 100), polypropylene (PP-HI, PP-B, PP-R), polybutene (PB), polyvinyl chloride, plasticizer-free (PVC-U, PVC-C, PVC-H 1, PVC-HI 2, PVC-UK), acrylonitrile budadiene styrene (ABS), acrylonitrile styrene acrylic ester (ASA) or styrene copolymers (linear polyesters, polycarbonates, unsaturated polyesters, epoxy resins, cross-linked Polyester, linear polyurethane, cross-linked polyurethane, polystyrene).
The base body consisting of the construction materials mentioned above advantageously has reinforcing materials such as minerals, chalk, talc, glass fibers, metallic fibers, plastic fibers or the like. As a result, higher material characteristics are achieved, so that the base body has a higher stability and thus a higher pressure resistance.

The one-piece construction principle of the main body of the street gully according to the invention is achieved by suitable processing methods such as injection molding, rotary molding, gluing or welding.
According to the invention, the street drain has an odor trap. The odor trap is located on the drain pipe. For this purpose, the drain pipe, which is basically arranged obliquely downwards, makes an arc upwards and a further curve downwards, such that the final direction of the drain pipe is arranged at least approximately parallel to the direction of the drain pipe of the street gully. The outflowing water collects in the arcuate design of the drain pipe and remains there, so that odors rising from the sewer through the drain pipe cannot pass through the water collected in the bend.
Further details of the invention can be found in the subclaims.

1 shows a street gully 1 according to the invention with a support ring 2. The street gully 1 is arranged between a curb 3 and a street surface 4 in a drainage channel 5.
Fig. 2 shows the street gully 1, which is arranged in the sub-concrete 6,7. In addition, the street gully 1 is fixed in the ground 8. The street gully 1 has a bucket 9 for collecting mud or the like. Furthermore, a drain pipe 10 is provided, which is connected via an intermediate piece 11 to a drain pipe 12 lying in the ground 8. The curb 3 is arranged in the sub-concrete 7. In addition, the support ring 2 is arranged in the sub-concrete 6 and 7 such that the support ring 2 encloses an upper region 13 of the street gully 1. The support ring 2 is completely supported by the sub-concrete 6, 7. On the support ring 2, a frame 14 made of cast iron is provided for a cover. A grate 15 is provided above the street gully 1. Because the support ring 2 is arranged in the sub-concrete 6, 7, the base body 16 of the street gully 1 no longer has a supporting function. For this reason, the base body 16 is made of plastic.
2, a joint 22 is provided between the frame 14 and the highboard 3. This joint is slurried like the gutter 5. The bucket 9 is loosely or releasably attached to projections 23, 24 of the frame 14.

Fig. 9 zeigt das Abflussrohr 10 mit einem Auslaufrohrstück 27.
3 shows the street gully 1 with the base body 16 and the drain pipe 10. Four pipe pieces 32, 39, 40, 41 with sleeves 33, 35 are arranged in an arc shape on the drain pipe 10, each at 45 °. The angles of the pipe sections 32, 39, 40, 41 are preferably 45 °. However, it is also possible, for example, to make bends of 67.5 ° or 90 °. It is also possible to use fewer or more pipe sections instead of four pipe sections.
Due to the arcuate design of the pipes 32, 39, 40, 41, water with an upper water line 36 remains in the pipe sections 32, 39, 40, 41. As a result, unpleasant odors from the channel, which can rise into the drain 1 through a drain pipe 34, cannot pass the water into the drain 1, so that the drain 1 remains odorless or almost odorless. 4, the base body 16 of the street gully 1 is constructed in several parts. The base body 16 has a wall 17 and a bottom 18.
5, the base body 16 is formed in one piece. This makes the production of the base body even easier.
Fig. 6 shows the support ring 2, which consists of two parts 19, 20.
According to FIG. 7, the parts 19, 20 form an upper surface 21. The parts 19, 20 engage in a step-like manner, so that a support ring 2 is formed with a uniform surface 21, in which the parts 19, 20 are firmly assigned to one another.
According to FIG. 8, the street gully 1 is adjustable in height. An extension tube 25 is inserted into the base body 37 in the upper region 13 of the base body 37. So that a tight connection between the tube 25 and the base body 37 is achieved, an annular groove 38 is formed on the base body 37, which receives a sleeve seal 26. For the purpose of a simplified illustration, the illustration of the drain pipe 10 of the bucket 9 and the other parts has been omitted in FIG. 8.
FIG. 9 shows the drain pipe 10 with an outlet pipe section 27. The outlet pipe section 27 has a collar 28. The drain pipe 10 has a double-walled design with walls 29, 30 in the area of the outlet pipe piece 27. The collar 28 is arranged in a recess 31 which lies between the walls 29, 30. As a result, the outlet pipe piece 27 is movable in the direction of arrow A and perpendicular to the plane of the drawing. The pipe section 27 can be rotated in this way in the direction necessary for connection to a drain pipe (not shown).
10 shows an outlet pipe piece 42 which is arranged by means of a ball joint 43 on an outlet pipe 44 of the base body 16 (not shown).
The outlet pipe 44 can be pivoted to the central axis B of the outlet pipe piece 42 by up to an angle α. Since it is a ball joint 43, swivel directions with a component perpendicular to the plane of the drawing are also possible.
11 shows a further embodiment for the angular adjustability of an outlet pipe piece 45 to an outlet pipe 46 arranged in the base body 16 (not shown). The outlet pipe section 45 and the outlet pipe 46 are detachably connected to one another by means of a clamping ring 47. A seal 48 is provided between the outlet pipe section 45 and the outlet pipe 46. If the clamping ring 47 is released, the outlet pipe 46 can be rotated relative to the outlet pipe section 45, up to the position shown in dashed lines. An adjustable angle β can be set between 0 ° and 87 ° 30 °.
