Definitions
- the invention relates to a setting tool for dowels with anchor rod and expansion sleeve, in particular for undercut anchors, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- a setting device In a known variant of such a setting device is ring-shaped circumferential stop shoulder provided a wedge-shaped projection, which at Striking against the rear edge of the internally threaded sleeve creates a notch there.
- the notch should indicate to the user that the expansion body is sufficiently far into the Through hole was driven in and the expansion anchor was fully expanded.
- This known setting device is only in connection with internally threaded sleeves comprehensive expansion anchors can be used. At the rear edge of the inner threaded sleeve creates a notch. However, this is often difficult to see, for example because the expansion anchor sits relatively deep in the borehole. With a connected component the edge of the internally threaded sleeve is usually no longer visible. In these cases it is without Disassembly of the connection component is no longer possible to determine whether the expansion anchor is sufficiently anchored.
- expansion anchors represents an anchor rod and an expansion sleeve with a radially expandable expansion area include.
- the anchor rod usually has an external thread as a load application means and has at its end in the borehole an expanding in diameter Headboard on.
- the expansion sleeve is driven onto the head part of the anchor rod, the Spreading area of the expansion sleeve is expanded radially.
- the expansion sleeve is usually through axial impacts on the head part of the anchor rod, which is supported on the bottom of the borehole raised.
- expansion anchors are usually sleeve-shaped Setting tools used. These have an axial bore in which during the setting process the anchor rod is picked up. The edge of the hole opening The end face of the setting tool comes into contact with the rear edge of the expansion sleeve brought. By axial impacts on the opposite end of the setting tool the expansion sleeve is driven onto the head part.
- the stimulating end of the sleeve Setting tool equipped with protrusions that are trained in corresponding Engage recesses on the rear edge of the expansion sleeve.
- the opposite The end of the setting tool is with an insertion end for the tool holder an electric hand drill, for example a hammer drill, Mistake.
- the setting tool is activated by operating the hammer drill rotates, and the expanding sleeve turns and strikes the diameter expanding headboard distended.
- the radially exhibited during the propulsion Spreading tabs of the rotating expansion sleeve in the borehole an undercut.
- the setting marks can be, for example, corrugations on the jacket of the Setting tool are attached. If the corrugations are aligned with the edge of the borehole, this indicates to the user that the setting process has ended and that the expansion sleeve is sufficiently advanced. So that this statement is sufficient There must be a guarantee that the expansion anchor will be securely anchored in the borehole However, the borehole must be created exactly with the prescribed depth. One too deep drilled borehole can lead the marking on the setting tool to the expansion sleeve not spread wide enough, which negatively affects the achievable holding values can impact.
- the setting marks can also be attached to the anchor rod be and for example by color markings on the circumference of the anchor rod be educated.
- the arrangement of the color markings is chosen in such a way that it become visible when the expansion sleeve is sufficiently far inflated on the head part has been. However, it can happen that the color markings are too deep for you drilled hole disappear in the hole and are hardly visible.
- Attaching a connection component is usually the markings on the anchor rod no longer visible, as they are usually covered by the connection component. Therefore the correct setting of an expansion anchor, especially an undercut anchor, After the setting process and after connecting a component, it is often no longer visible can be understood.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to overcome these disadvantages of the prior art Remedy technology. It is intended to be a setting tool for expansion anchors with an anchor rod and Expansion sleeve, in particular for undercut anchors, can be created, which enables to carry out a visual setting check in a simple manner even after the setting process.
- the visual setting control should show the user whether the expansion anchor is sufficiently anchored in the ground. Thereby, even after attaching Connection components an inspection of the attachment points can be easily carried out.
- the solution to these tasks consists in a setting tool with the characteristic ones Features of claim 1.
- the inventive Setting tool for dowels with anchor rod and expansion sleeve, especially for Undercut anchor has a sleeve-shaped body with an axial blind hole is provided, which opens into a front side of the body. On his from the The sleeve-shaped body has an introduction surface facing away from the rear end for axial impacts. At the bottom of the axial blind hole of the sleeve-shaped A marking device is arranged by means of which at the end of the Setting process on the rear end face of the anchor rod a permanent Marking can be generated.
- a marking device at the bottom of the blind hole of the setting tool allows marking to be made on the rear face the anchor rod, which is still visible even after connecting a component remains. This ensures simple, subsequent visual inspection.
- the Marking device creates a permanent marking, even over long periods of time remains intact and enables setting control practically at any time. The mark is only generated towards the end of the setting process. From the presence of a marker is immediately apparent to the user that the minimum axial displacement of the expansion sleeve for the expansion of the expansion anchor in the hole has been. Finally, conclusions can also be drawn from the depth of the marking about the degree of expansion of the expansion sleeve.
- the marking device is a dome-like one Projection protruding from the bottom of the blind hole.
- the lead points the bottom of the blind hole has a projection that corresponds to the diameter of the Blind hole a ratio between about 0.1 and about 1.7, preferably between 0.3 and 1.2.
- the protruding from the bottom of the blind hole, Dome-like protrusion meets with the striking advance of the expansion sleeve Setting tool on the rear end face of the blind hole recorded anchor rod. Due to the axial blows, the protrusion in the End face and creates a permanent mark in the form of a recess.
- the dome-like projection is advantageously stepped over its longitudinal extent and has at least two areas with different diameters. Of the smaller diameter front section extends to the free end of the projection.
- the graded training of the lead is the prerequisite for the creation of leveling-dependent markings.
- the front section has a diameter that corresponds to the diameter of the rear part of the projection protruding from the bottom of the blind hole in Ratio of about 0.2 to about 0.7, preferably 0.3 to 0.6. That way ensures the required strength of the projection without being oversized Front section penetration of the same in the rear end face of the To complicate anchor rod and thereby hinder the advancement of the expansion sleeve.
- the front section expediently has one towards its free front end converging tip, the length of the total length of the front section in Ratio of about 0.2 to about 0.7, preferably 0.3 to 0.6.
- the tip relieved penetration into the rear face of the anchor rod during the setting process. The deeper the protrusion is embossed into the end face, the bigger it becomes Marking diameter.
- the controlling person can determine the size of the marking Users draw conclusions about the degree of spreading. By including the The displacement of the expansion sleeve can be traced even more precisely to the depth of the marking to determine the degree of expansion.
- the total length of the The front section stands in one with the minimum displacement path of the expansion sleeve Ratio from about 0.1 to about 0.5.
- the geometrical proportions of the setting tool are of a reasonable order of magnitude chosen such that the diameter of the rear part of the projection to the diameter of the bore has a ratio that is preferably about 0.1 to 0.5, preferably is about 0.2 to 0.4.
- the marking device is a pen-like hard metal insert is arranged in a recess provided at the bottom of the blind hole is.
- the hard metal insert is relatively easy to manufacture in the desired geometry. Since the marking device is subject to a certain amount of wear during use it is advantageous if the hard metal insert is used interchangeably.
- Undercut anchors is formed on the end face of the sleeve-shaped body at least one claw-like rotary driver arranged axially from the end face protrudes.
- an insertion end for the tool holder of a hand drill for example a hammer drill. That in the tool holder
- the setting tool used is rotated around its axis by the hand drill transferred.
- the claw-like rotary driver engages in a correspondingly designed one Recess on the rear face of the expansion sleeve to apply torque to the Transfer sleeve.
- the setting tool shown in FIG. 1, for example, is designated 7 overall and shown in two positions. While the setting tool 7 in FIG. 1a of FIG. 1 is in its starting position at the beginning of the setting process, shows the Fig. 1b, the setting tool 7 in its end position at the end of the setting process.
- the Setting tool 7 comprises a sleeve-shaped body 8 with an axial Blind hole 11 is provided.
- the blind hole 11 has its mouth 12 the end face 13 of the sleeve-shaped body 8.
- the sleeve-shaped body 8 has usually a cylindrical shape. Its coat can be closed or be provided with axial slots.
- an insertion end 9 for connecting the Setting tool 7 on a tool holder of a hand drill, not shown, for example, a hammer drill.
- the free back surface of the Inserting end 9 forms an introductory surface 10 for axial strikes caused by the striking mechanism of the Hand drill are generated.
- Rotary driver 14 from that with a corresponding recess 6 in the rear End face 5 of an expansion sleeve 4 cooperates.
- the expansion sleeve 4 is on one Anchor rod 1 axially displaceable.
- An external thread 2 on the anchor rod 1 serves as Load attachment means for connecting a component.
- the one indicated in FIG. 1 Expansion anchors are in particular an undercut anchor that rotates and strikes is anchored in a prepared hole. Due to the 13 of the sleeve-shaped body 8 transferred to the rear end face 5 of the expansion sleeve 4 axial blows, the expansion sleeve 4 is driven axially forward.
- a marking device 17 is arranged inside the blind bore 11 of the sleeve-shaped Body 8 of the setting tool 7, a marking device 17 is arranged.
- the marking device 17 is of a mandrel-like in the illustrated embodiment Projection formed, which in a recess 16 at the bottom 15 of the blind hole 11th is inserted.
- the spike-like projection 17 has the bottom 15 of the Blind hole has a projection x that corresponds to the diameter d of the blind hole Ratio between about 0.1 and 1.7, preferably between 0.3 and 1.2.
- the dome-like projection 17 comes into contact Anchor rod 1 and is subsequently caused by the axial blows in the rear Face 3 of the anchor rod 1 is stamped.
- the resulting depression forms one permanent marking, which the user continues to use even after connecting a component the anchor rod 1 enables a setting control.
- FIGS. 2 to 6 Various exemplary embodiments of the marking device 17 are shown in FIGS. 2 to 6. While in principle also a marking device with one over its entire Length uniform diameter can be used, offer marking devices, which are stepped over their length, advantages in terms of strength. Moreover can create areas with different diameters for the production additional markings are used, which provide the user with additional information can tell about the degree of setting. Those shown schematically in Figs. 2-6 Marking devices 17 have two areas with different lengths over their longitudinal extent Diameter.
- the freely projecting front section 18 has marking device designed as a dome-like projection has a smaller diameter v as the rear part 20 of the projection 17, which over part of it Longitudinal extension inserted into the recess 16 at the base 15 of the blind hole 11 is (Fig. 1).
