Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for cutting a printed material web in a folder of a web-fed rotary printing press.
The printed web is printed in a folder of a web-fed rotary printing press cut individual signatures, which are then used for further folding Processing to be fed.
In conventional folders, rotating cutting cylinder systems with one or several cutting knives which are attached to the circumference of the cutting cylinder and extend across the width of the running paper web for cross cutting the web used.
A cutting cylinder system of the type described above is for example in the US 5,334,129.
Show due to their construction and working principle Known cross-cutting cylinder systems the shortcoming that they over the Drive system transmit strong vibrations and disturbances and that with every cut Web tension fluctuations are generated, which are transmitted back via the web and adversely affect the quality of the printed images on the web.
In addition, cutting cylinder systems of a known type do not allow any cuts Finish quality and often produce cut register errors as the knife or the Blast the cutting cylinder past the paper and cause the paper to the Knife or blade to follow.
In particular when processing single-layer or multi-layer webs, the conventional cutting systems the further shortcoming that the signatures during and cannot be fully held after the cutting process. As a result, open the front edge of the multi-ply web formed with each cut and cause a jam or even damage in the subsequent fold section.
Furthermore, the knives of the conventional cross-cutting cylinder due to the high Workload dull after a comparatively short time and must therefore to be replaced or sharpened frequently to ensure that the quality is sufficient Maintain cut edges.
The object of the invention is to achieve a method and a device for cross cutting a running material web, especially a printed one Paper web, which enable precise and fluid cutting of the web, which minimizes the risk of cutting register errors and continues to do so Occurrence of high-frequency web tension fluctuations eliminated.
Verarbeiten der bedruckten Bahn 2.As shown in Fig. 1, a web-fed rotary printing press 1 comprises one for printing one
multicolored image on a running web of
The
The basic working principle of the
der Bahngeschwindigkeit VW.To cut the
Fig. 2 gezeigten Schneidverfahrens angedeutet ist.
The
laufenden Bahn 2.After the cutting
The
As shown in Fig. 3, the
des Falzapparates 6.In the preferred embodiment of the invention, each of the first and / or second comprises
The first and / or the second
As can further be seen from FIG. 3, there is a first plurality of
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the second transport system comprises

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cutting
24 vorwärts bewegt wird.A
The
(Fig. 7).The cutting knife 48 can be, for example, a
According to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, a
According to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, the cutting element 12
a
Alternatively, the
In addition, instead of using a
