Abstract
In einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung zum Schneiden einer laufenden Materialbahn (2) in einem Falzapparat einer Rollenrotationsdruckmaschine wird ein Schneidelement (12) mit einer Geschwindigkeit, die im wesentlichen gleich der Geschwindigkeit der laufenden Bahn (VW) ist, in Laufrichtung der Bahn (2) und gleichzeitig in einer im wesentlichen quer verlaufenden Richtung über die Breite der Bahn (2) bewegt. Das Schneidelement (12) umfaßt vorzugsweise einen Schlitten, einen Hochdruck-Flüssigkeitsstrahl und einen beheizten Draht oder Laser, der in einer Führungsschiene in Querrichtung geführt wird, die von einem Paar paralleler Endlos-Transportketten getragen wird. In a method and an apparatus for cutting a continuous material web (2) in a folding apparatus of a web-fed rotary printing press, a cutting element (12) at a speed equal to the speed of the moving web (V W) substantially in the running direction of the web (2 ) and at the same time moved in a substantially transverse direction across the width of the web (2). The cutting element (12) preferably comprises a carriage, a high pressure liquid jet and a heated wire or laser which is guided in a transverse direction in a guide rail which is carried by a pair of parallel endless conveyor chains.
