Definitions
- the invention relates to a pedal, in particular for a vehicle, with a a holding part pivoted, deflectable by foot force and can be pivoted back into a basic position by a return spring element Pedal plate, with a setpoint generator for generating a electrical signal depending on the position of the pedal plate and with a damper for generating damping of the movement of the pedal plate.
- Such pedals are used, for example, in a motor vehicle with a electronic load control system used as an accelerator pedal and are therefore known.
- the damper usually has a friction block, which by means of a Spring is biased against a friction surface. With a movement of the Pedal plate, the friction block slides over the friction surface and thereby dampens this movement, what a sensitive change in the pedal position is advantageous. In particular when the pedal plate is released, it follows delays foot movement.
- the one generated in the friction damper Friction in the direction of actuation of the pedal plate is usually greater than in opposite direction.
- the friction damper has one Hysteresis, which reliably swings the pedal plate back into its Ensures basic position.
- the friction block is when assembling the pedal against the friction surface of the intended friction preload and align. As a result, the pedal consists of a lot many components that are complex to manufacture and assemble.
- the invention is based on the problem of a pedal of the beginning mentioned type so that there is only a small number of Has components and is particularly easy to assemble.
- the Return spring element is designed as part of a spring-damper unit, which in addition to the return spring element, a spring cup, one in this slidable against the spring force of the return spring element Includes piston and damper.
- a particularly simple embodiment of the invention is given if the damper as a friction damper to produce damping due to by a relative movement between the pedal plate and the piston resulting friction is executed.
- the guide point of the piston the pedal plate moves when the pedal is actuated and with it connected, decreasing, enclosed angle between Pedal plate and holding part along the pedal plate in the direction of a Joint.
- the friction generated in this way enables a particularly simple one Coordination of the desired damping.
- damper as a friction damper to generate damping due to the by Relative movement between the spring cup and the piston Friction is executed.
- This is the in a particularly simple manner desired damping has been integrated into the spring-damper unit. Additional components are not required, which means a wide range Presetting of the damping regardless of the execution of the Pedal plate and the holding part is possible.
- the mechanical damping can be achieved by a specifically applied transverse force on the cylinder Friction between the piston and the spring cup can be realized.
- the damping is adjusted using a suitable material selection and / or a suitable surface design of the friction pairing.
- the setpoint generator can be designed as a rotary potentiometer, for example and integrate into a joint between the holding part and pedal plate.
- a Particularly favorable embodiment of the invention is given when the Setpoint generator is a linear potentiometer. This can be in the spring damper unit be integrated and enables the particularly exact Detect the position of the pedal plate. For example, Install the linear potentiometer so that it is the immersion depth of the piston captured in the spring cup and thus the conclusion on the pedal position enables. In this way, both the number of individual components reduce the pedal and increase its operational safety.
- the setpoint generator is designed as a contactless feedback system. This can cause wear-related disturbances in the detection of the Setpoint are largely avoided.
- the high demands on the Operational safety of the pedal is optimally fulfilled. Are suitable in particular capacitive or inductive feedback systems.
- the pedal plate could be pivoted by means of a roller or slide bearing be connected to the holding part.
- the pedal is particularly simple executed when the pedal plate by means of a film joint on the holding part is pivotally mounted. This makes it possible to put the pedal plate together to manufacture with the holding part and the film joint in one piece, which is a further reduction of components results.
- the formation of the film hinge can be precisely matched to the desired movement characteristics adjust, the film hinge at the same time high reliability ensures.
- FIG. 1 shows a pedal 1 with a holding part 2 and one by means of a Film joint 3 integrally connected to it, pivotable pedal plate 4.
- a spring-damper unit 5 is arranged in between.
- This spring damper unit 5 in this case comprises a slidable in a spring cup 6 arranged piston 7, which against the spring force of a return spring element 8 can be inserted into the spring cup 6.
- On the Inside 9 of the spring cup 6 is a linear potentiometer with a Grinder track 10 and a grinder 23 arranged which the immersion depth of the piston 7 to determine the position of the pedal plate 4. Electrical connections of the potentiometer are here as in FIG Not shown for clarity.
- a friction surface 12 On one of the spring-damper units 5 inclined underside 11 of the pedal plate 4 is a friction surface 12 intended.
- a friction surface 12 On one of the spring-damper units 5 inclined underside 11 of the pedal plate 4 is a friction surface 12 intended.
- FIG. 2 shows a pedal 15 in which the pedal plate 4 has a piston 16 and a spring cup 18 receiving a return spring element 17 with the Holding part 2 is connected.
- a spring-damper unit 19 includes the Spring cup 18, the return spring element 17 and against the spring force the return spring element 17 in the spring cup 18 displaceable Piston 16. Since the piston 16 is firmly connected to the pedal plate 4, this and the spring cup 18 must be curved, so that these components are not when the pedal plate 4 is depressed jam. The damping is caused by friction between the opposite sections of the lateral surface 20 of the piston 16 and one applied to the inner surface 21 of the spring cup 18 Friction surface 25 reached.
