Definitions
- the present invention relates to an armored firebreak panel against radiation.
- a panel for the production of standard doors, of the type consisting of laminate formed from the side most exposed to fire towards the other side, with at least one layer of lead forming a anti-radiation screen and a soul constituting the resistance structure of said panel.
- the armored fireproof door units that currently exist on the market are above all fire-resistant door units standards that have been modified by adding at least a layer of a material, especially a layer of lead, forming a radiation screen. This results in a significant increase in the thickness of the door panel no longer making it possible to obtain door blocks of dimension standard easier to install. It also results in a relatively high weight door block that works significantly the mechanical elements, in particularly the closing and opening device of said door integrated into the assembly. Finally, this type of block door is generally designed so that it cannot withstand the fire for only half an hour.
- document DE-A-1,139,967 provides for the completion a lead frame glued to the periphery of a plate lead, the assembly being arranged to cooperate with a jamb also incorporating lead. All of these solutions are cumbersome and complex to carry out.
- the aim of the present invention is therefore to propose a armored panel, in particular against X-rays, and fire rated for at least three quarter of an hour, without the thickness of the panel is increased considerably.
- the invention relates to a fire barrier shielded against radiation, especially for production of standard doors and door frames, of the type made up of a formed laminate, from the most exposed area fire towards the area least exposed to fire of said panel, at least one layer of lead forming an anti-radiation screen and of a soul constituting the structure of resistance of the panel, characterized in that the laminate further comprises at least one thin layer of a thermally conductive material with a melting point high placed between lead layer and core of the laminate so as to distribute the heat produced during the melting of lead layer when subjected to elevation accidental temperature.
- the panel is characterized in that the material layer thermally conductive at high melting point laminate is a layer of copper.
- Radiation shielded fire panel object of the invention, can be used in many applications.
- one of the favorite apps of this panel is the realization of doors and door jambs as shown in Figure 1, which represents a door jamb and a door to a leaf, and Figure 2 which represents a frame of door and a door with two leaves.
- This app is preferred because of the possibility of obtaining with such panel a particularly reduced panel thickness allowing to respect the standard dimensions door thickness.
- the door panel and the door panel appear each in the form of a laminate.
- This laminate is consisting of the area most exposed to fire towards the area least exposed to fire, at least one layer of lead 2A forming an anti-radiation screen and a core 1 constituting the resistance structure of said panel.
- This laminate further comprises at least one layer 3 of low thickness of a thermally conductive point material high fusion disposed between lead layer 2A and core 1 of the laminated to distribute the heat produced during the fusion of the lead layer 2A when it is subjected at an accidental temperature rise.
- the material layer thermally conductive at high melting point laminate is a layer of copper.
- the thickness of this layer is less than 0.6 mm, preferably close to 0.3 mm, to limit the mechanical stresses exerted on the core 1 of the panel when it is subjected to a accidental temperature rise.
- This layer of copper 3 is preferably placed in contact with the layer lead 2A so as to facilitate the distribution of heat of the lead layer.
- the layer of copper 3 and the lead layer 2A are in the form of two sheets assembled by gluing. It is well obvious that even if, above, the exemplary embodiment has been limited to a layer of copper, this layer of copper can be replaced with a layer of any other material thermally conductive with high melting point.
- this laminate will include as shown in the figure 1, at least two layers of lead 2A, 2B arranged on the side and other of the core 1.
- the thickness of each layer of lead is at least equal to 0.4 mm, preferably close to 1 mm. It is also possible to double inside the lead layer 2B of a copper layer, as has been done for layer 2A.
- Core 1 of the laminate consists of a high density wood panel, such as chipboard. So at as an example, the core 1 of this laminate is made up a panel classified fire type M1, with a thickness of around 35 mm.
- the component panel of the door is in the form of a laminate consisting, from its face most exposed to fire, towards the other side, with a facing layer 4A such as a hardwood fiber board with high fire resistance, a layer of lead 2A, a layer of copper 3, a core 1 consisting of a high density wooden panel, a lead layer 2B and a facing layer 4B of fibers hard wood with high fire resistance.
- a facing layer 4A such as a hardwood fiber board with high fire resistance
- a layer of lead 2A a layer of copper 3
- a core 1 consisting of a high density wooden panel
- lead layer 2B and a facing layer 4B of fibers hard wood with high fire resistance.
