Description

The invention relates to a profile bar for attachment of at least one planar element according to the preamble of the independent claim. Such a profile bar is for example known from DE 39 00411 A-1, wherein grooves and recesses are provided on the boundary walls of the receiving grooves, which serve to receive excess adhesive when the walls of a suitcase are glued to the profiles. The tips of the grooves do not project beyond a plane formed by the side walls of the U-shaped grooves. The reason for this is that the grooves, as already described, serve to absorb excess adhesive. Therefore, the grooves have no influence on the holding force for the walls of the case.

From DE 42 08 720 A1 discloses a profile bar for fixing at least one planar element is known, which has a receptacle for the sheet-like element whose width is partially smaller than the thickness of the sheet-like element, so that the sheet-like element can be fixed by clamping in the receptacle is. A boundary wall has two projections. These are designed around and are to provide better support and two defined points or lines for the sheet element. The holding force for the planar element is thus not very large when pulling out. In addition, this results in a small clamping surface through which the surface pressure is relatively large. The receptacle is not U-shaped, since it has a slot at one corner. Through this slot, the holding force is reduced again.

In a profile bar disclosed in US Pat. No. 5,551,205, there is the problem that a planar element is held only by two lips arranged in the region of a longitudinal slot opening. As a result, only a very small support and holding power is given. Furthermore, the line-shaped clamping of the flat element in the profile groove, that acts at a transverse load of the protective grid, this small clamping surface as a joint, and the sheet-like element therefore already deformed at a low load on the entire clamping surface. In another disclosed in this document profile bar, an additional element is required to hold a sheet-like element, which is associated with an increased installation effort. This additional element is further made of a softer element than the profile bar, resulting in a reduced holding force result.

In a profile bar known from FR-A-2 309 695 a receptacle is provided for a plate with a C-shape, in which on two opposite sides in each case two elongated extensions are formed, which hold the plate. This results in a small clamping surface, which can lead to deformations of the plates at the clamping areas with lateral forces.

From US-A-3,770,245 a profile bar is known, which has a U-shaped receptacle for a planar element. At the Längsnutöffnung a survey is formed on each side. This leads to a small clamping surface, through which the surface pressure is relatively large. The holding force for the planar element, in particular when pulling out is thus not significantly increased. If the planar element is subjected to transverse forces, the linear clamping of the planar element in the longitudinal groove causes the small clamping surface to act like a joint during a transverse loading of the planar element, and the planar element therefore already deforms at the slightest load on the entire clamping surface , Due to the rounded shape of the elevations, these do not act as barbs for the flat element when the flat element is pulled out of the receptacle.

Furthermore, from DE-U 91 03 993, EP-A-0 443 441 and US-A-4,132,390 profile bars are known which serve as frame elements for the formation of a protective fence. They have on their side surfaces on an undercut longitudinal groove, into which projects a protective grid. In order to secure the protective grid in the longitudinal groove, a wedge-shaped body is used, which clamps the protective grid in the region of the slot opening. By using the additional wedge increased installation effort in the production of such protective fences is required. Furthermore, the fact that the protective grid is connected only in the region of the Längsnutöffnung with the profiled bar, a relatively high clamping voltage required to securely fix the protective grid. Furthermore, causes the almost only linear clamping of the protective grid in the profile that at a transverse load of the protective grid, this small clamping surface acts as a joint, and the protective grid therefore already deformed at a low load on the entire clamping surface.

Object of the present invention is to provide a profile bar, which provides an increased holding force and a large clamping surface for a sheet-like element.

This object is solved by the features of claim 1.

By this design, a planar element is securely held in the profile bar. In lateral forces, the risk is minimized that deforms the sheet-like element on the clamping surface. The profile bar according to the invention also has the advantage that flat elements, such as plates or grid-shaped elements, can be connected directly and safely to the profile bar without additional fasteners. This is done by a special design of the longitudinal groove, which allows a clamping fixation of the sheet-like element in the longitudinal groove over a relatively large clamping surface.

Further advantages and advantageous developments of the profile bar according to the invention will be apparent from the dependent claims and the description.

Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and will be explained in more detail below. 1 shows a protective fence produced by means of profiled bars in a front view, Figure 2 is a section in the plane II-II of Figure 1, Figure 3 shows the attachment of two profile bars in a partially sectioned side view corresponding to the detail X of Figure 1, and Figures 4 to 6 cross sections through different profile bars.

Querstabs 13 einschraubbar ist (Figuren 2 und 3).FIG. 1 shows a planar element 10, which serves as a component of a protective fence, as is known, for example, for the purpose of guarding in production halls in order to prevent access to certain areas there. In the simplest case illustrated, the element 10 has a rectangular frame 11 with two longitudinal bars 12 and two transverse bars 13 connected thereto. The longitudinal bars 12 and the cross bars 13 produced in the aluminum extrusion process each have a different length, otherwise they are identical. The connection of the longitudinal bars 12 with the transverse bars 13 takes place in each of the corners by means of a connecting element, in the example shown by means of a respective screw 14 which engages with its screw head in an arranged on a side surface undercut first longitudinal groove 15 of the longitudinal bars 12 and cross bars 13 , And in the front side of a continuous longitudinal bore 16 of the longitudinal bar 12 and transverse bar 13 can be screwed (Figures 2 and 3).

Within the frame 11, a protective grid 18 is arranged. Instead of the protective grid 18, however, another element, for example a plexiglass pane, is also conceivable. The protective grid 18 has a thickness d which, since the wires of the protective grid 18 are corrugated and interwoven or welded together, is greater than the actual wire thickness.

In order to connect the protective grid 18 in a particularly simple and secure manner to the longitudinal bars 12 and the transverse bars 13, these are specially designed according to FIG. The cross-section in approximately square formed longitudinal bar 12 and transverse bar 13 has on two opposite side surfaces 19, 20 each have an undercut longitudinal groove, one of which is the aforementioned first longitudinal groove 15, and the other is referred to as a second longitudinal groove 21. The two longitudinal grooves 15, 21 serve either as an attachment for the screw 14, or / and for attaching additional elements, such as warning signs, which are simply inserted into the longitudinal groove 15, 21 and held there by clamping action.

Between the two longitudinal grooves 15, 21, the longitudinal bore 16 is formed in a manner known per se in a square cross-sectionally shaped central portion 22. The central portion 22 is connected by means of four webs 23, which are each in extension of imaginary diagonals of the central portion 22 with the remaining profile cross-section.

Laterally next to the two longitudinal grooves 15, 21, a U-shaped receptacle 25 for the protective grid 18 is arranged. The receptacle 25 has two boundary walls 26, 27, of which the one boundary wall 26 forms a leg and at the same time a side wall of the longitudinal bar 12 or transverse bar 13. The other boundary wall 27 is connected on the one hand with two webs 23 with the central portion 22, and on the other hand forms part of the boundary walls of the longitudinal grooves 15, 21 from.

It is essential for the formation of the receptacle 25, that the inner width B is at least in a certain portion slightly smaller than the thickness d of the protective grid 18. Further, the bottom 28 of the receptacle 25, which is also part of the side surface 19 of the longitudinal bar 12 or transverse bars 13, advantageously designed such that upon insertion of the protective grid 18 in the receptacle 25 a certain elastic expansion by a corresponding wall thickness or training in the transition region 32 to the boundary wall 26 of the receptacle 25 is made possible. As a result, a secure clamping of the protective grid 18 in the receptacle 25 can be realized.

An additional increase in the holding force for the protective grid 18 can be achieved if the protective grid 18 facing surfaces of the two boundary walls 26, 27 are formed with the sawtooth-shaped elevations 30 shown in Figure 4. These elevations 30 are arranged such that they act as a barb for the protective grid 18 when pulling out of the protective grid 18 from the receptacle 25.

The longitudinal bar 12 or transverse bar 13 shown in FIG. 4 can be modified such that additional longitudinal grooves are formed on one or both side surfaces 19, 20, on which the longitudinal grooves 15, 21 are arranged, for clamping additional parts or for joining serve with other bars. It is also conceivable that the elevations 30 are formed on the boundary walls 26, 27 only in certain sections, or only on one of the two boundary walls 26, 27.

The illustrated in Figure 5 second embodiment of the invention differs from the former in particular in that two opposing receptacles 25a are provided. This has the consequence that the depth of such a receptacle 25a now amounts to only about half the width of a side wall. Further, instead of the bottom 28, a gutter 31 is provided, which separates the two receptacles 25a from each other. The profile bar 12a, 13a shown in FIG. 5 is used in particular for horizontal or vertical division of the frame 11.

In addition, it is mentioned that for relief the insertion of the protective grid 18 in the receptacle 25, 25a, the boundary walls 26, 27 are provided on the protective grid 18 side facing preferably with insertion bevels 33.

In the embodiment of a profile bar 12c, 13c shown in Figure 6, the receptacle 25c in addition to the clamping function by arranging one or both sides, small lateral grooves 35 in the boundary walls 26, 27 take over a seal of the protective grid 18 by means inserted therein rubber seals ,
