each of the two clamping channels (6, 7) comprises at least three clamping edges (10, 12, 17, 19; 11, 13, 18, 20), and in that the clamping edges (10, 12, 17, 19; 11, 13, 18, 20) are distributed on both sides of the clamping channels, staggered in depth, and their mutual distances are so adjusted to the thickness of the side walls (25) of the flat objects, resp. the clamping edges are so disposed that the side walls (25) which are inserted in one of the channels (6, 7) in a straight manner are automatically maintained. - The profile bar of claim 1,
