Claims (22)
- Procédé d'acheminement d'un flux de tabac (6) à partir d'un stock intermédiaire (30) d'un distributeur (3) vers une cheminée d'aspiration (42) d'une machine de fabrication de produits de l'industrie du tabac (4), ledit procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une étape durant laquelle ledit flux de tabac,constitué d'une succession longitudinale de portions dudit flux de tabac comprenant une forte proportion de brins de tabac courts (60) intercalées avec des portions dudit flux de tabac comprenant une forte proportion de brins de tabac longs (61),circulant selon une première direction et une première vitesse,
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte en outre une étape où le flux de tabac transporté sur le moyen de transfert (32) est comprimé de manière à s'écouler selon une première section de passage.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte en outre une étape où le flux de tabac, après avoir été transporté selon ladite deuxième direction par ledit moyen de transfert (32), est démêlé, les couches consistant en une forte proportion de brins courts et celles consistant en une forte proportion de brins longs sont mélangées et le flux de tabac est expansé pour s'écouler dans une canalisation (38) dont la section de passage du flux de tabac est supérieure à ladite première section de passage.
- Procédé selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le démêlage, le mélange et l'expansion du flux de tabac sont obtenus par une rouleau à picots (37) disposé en travers du flux de tabac et tournant à vitesse élevée autour d'un axe disposé perpendiculairement au sens d'écoulement du flux de tabac et dans un plan parallèle audit flux.
- Procédé selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que, le flux de tabac qui s'écoule dans ladite canalisation (38) consistant en un mélange de brins de tabac, courts (60) et longs (61), de côtes, nervures et tiges de tabac de différentes sections ainsi que de débris (62), les brins de tabac (60,61) ainsi que des côtes, nervures et tiges de faible section sont aspirés dans une cheminée d'aspiration (42) d'une machine de fabrication de produits de l'industrie du tabac (4) débouchant dans une chambre de séparation (38A) disposée sur une portion de ladite canalisation, alors que les côtes, nervures et tiges de tabac de forte section ainsi que les débris (62) s'écoulent par gravité vers une portion inférieure de ladite canalisation.
- Distributeur (3) associé à une machine de fabrication de produits de l'industrie du tabac (1) pour la réalisation du procédé selon la revendication 1, ledit distributeur comprenant un tapis roulant continu de transfert (32) recevant sur une de ses extrémités un flux de tabac présentant une succession longitudinale de portions dudit flux de tabac comprenant une forte proportion de brins de tabac courts (60) intercalées avec des portions dudit flux de tabac comprenant une forte proportion de brins de tabac longs (61), ledit flux de tabac s'écoulant selon une première direction et selon une première vitesse,
caractérisé en ce que
le tapis de transfert (32) est disposé de telle manière que la portion dudit tapis transportant le flux de tabac est orientée selon une deuxième direction essentiellement non parallèle à la première direction et est muni de moyens d'entraínement aptes à entraíner la portion dudit tapis transportant le flux de tabac selon une deuxième vitesse inférieure à la première vitesse, de telle manière que le flux de tabac sur ledit moyen de transfert possède une épaisseur constituée d'une succession de couches dudit flux de tabac comprenant une forte proportion de brins de tabac courts (60) intercalées avec des couches dudit flux de tabac comprenant une forte proportion de brins de tabac longs (61). - Distributeur selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que l'angle compris entre ladite première direction et ladite deuxième direction est compris entre 90° et 120°, et en ce que ladite deuxième vitesse est inférieure à ladite première vitesse.
- Distributeur selon l'une des revendications 6 ou 7, caractérisé en ce qu'il est associé à une écluse tangentielle (2) transportant séquentiellement un flux de tabac pour alimenter un stock d'entrée de tabac (30), ledit distributeur comprenant en outre une bande à peignes (31) prélevant le tabac dudit stock d'entrée pour le conduire vers le tapis de transfert (32), vers lequel il s'écoule selon lesdites première direction et première vitesse du flux de tabac.
- Distributeur selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre un premier moyen de régulation du flux de tabac (33;33A) disposé en regard de la bande à peignes (31).
- Distributeur selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que le premier moyen de régulation du flux de tabac est constitué d'une bande continue comportant des lames souples en saillie (33) disposée essentiellement à proximité de l'extrémité aval de la bande à peignes (31), le brin de ladite bande continue (33) le plus proche du brin de la bande à peignes (31) transportant le tabac étant disposé en biseau relativement à ce dernier, la pointe du biseau étant tournée vers l'aval de la bande à peignes, les extrémités des bordures des lames souples de ladite bande continue venant rencontrer au moins en un endroit les extrémités des peignes de la bande à peignes, ladite bande continue étant entraínée en mouvement de telle manière que le brin proche du brin de la bande à peignes se déplace selon une direction essentiellement opposée à la direction de déplacement de ce dernier.
- Distributeur selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que le premier moyen de régulation du flux de tabac est constitué d'un rouleau comportant des lames souples en saillie (33A) disposé à proximité de l'extrémité aval de la bande à peignes (31), les extrémités des bordures des lames souples dudit rouleau à lames souples (33A) venant rencontrer au moins en un endroit les extrémités des peignes de la bande à peignes, ledit rouleau à lames souples étant entraíné en rotation de telle manière que sa portion de surface périphérique proche du brin de la bande à peignes se déplace selon une direction essentiellement opposée à la direction de déplacement de ce dernier.
- Distributeur selon l'une des revendications 6 à 11, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre un déflecteur (34) conduisant le flux de tabac afin de l'amener selon ladite première direction sur la bande de transfert (32).
- Distributeur selon l'une des revendications 6 à 11, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre un deuxième moyen de régulation du flux de tabac constitué d'une bande continue (36) disposée essentiellement à proximité de l'extrémité aval du tapis de transfert (32), le brin de ladite bande (36) le plus proche du brin du tapis de transfert (32) transportant le tabac étant disposé en biseau relativement à ce dernier, la pointe du biseau étant tournée vers l'aval du tapis de transfert, les portions les plus proches de la bande (36) et du tapis de transfert (32) laissant entre elles un espace déterminé de telle manière que le flux de tabac soit légèrement comprimé en cet endroit, ladite bande (36) étant entraínée en mouvement de telle manière que le brin proche du tapis de transfert se déplace selon une direction essentiellement identique à la direction de déplacement de ce dernier, avec une vitesse différente de celle du tapis de transfert.
- Distributeur selon la revendication 13, caractérisé en ce que la surface de ladite bande continue (36) en contact avec le flux de tabac, ainsi que la surface de la bande de transfert (32) en contact avec le flux de tabac sont adhérentes avec le tabac.
- Distributeur selon l'une des revendications 13 ou 14, caractérisé en ce que la différence de vitesse de déplacement entre la bande continue (36) et la bande de transfert (32) est comprise entre + 10 % et - 10 %.
- Distributeur selon l'une des revendications 6 à 15, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre un moyen de démêlage, de mélange et d'expansion (37) disposé en travers du flux de tabac, en aval du tapis de transfert (32), constitué d'un rouleau à picots (37) entraíné en rotation rapide relativement à la vitesse du flux de tabac sur le tapis de transfert, autour d'un axe situé dans le plan dudit flux de tabac et perpendiculaire à la direction de déplacement dudit flux sur le tapis de transfert (32).
- Distributeur selon la revendication 16, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre une canalisation de transfert (38) comportant une section de passage du flux de tabac plus grande que la section de passage du flux de tabac sur le tapis de transfert (32), le rouleau à picots (37) étant disposé dans une portion d'entrée de ladite canalisation de transfert.
- Distributeur selon la revendication 17, caractérisé en ce que la canalisation de transfert (38) est disposée de telle manière que le flux de tabac s'écoule dans ladite canalisation essentiellement par gravitation.
- Distributeur selon l'une des revendications 17 ou 18, caractérisé en ce que la canalisation de transfert (38) comprend une chambre de séparation (38A), comportant un orifice d'une extrémité inférieure d'une cheminée d'aspiration (42) faisant partie de la machine de fabrication de produits de l'industrie du tabac (4) à laquelle il est associé, ladite machine de fabrication comportant notamment en outre une chambre d'aspiration (40) aspirant un flux d'air à travers une courroie poreuse (41) et ladite cheminée d'aspiration (42), les brins de tabac (60,61) ainsi que des côtes, nervures et tiges de faible section du flux de tabac en provenance de la portion d'entrée de ladite canalisation étant aspirés dans ladite cheminée d'aspiration (42 afin de les rassembler sous ladite courroie poreuse (41) pour former un boudin de tabac continu, alors que les côtes, nervures et tiges de forte section ainsi que des débris (62) du flux de tabac s'écoulent par gravitation dans une portion inférieure de ladite canalisation de transfert.
- Distributeur selon la revendication 19, caractérisé en ce que ladite portion inférieure de la canalisation de transfert (38) comprend un moyen d'élimination (39) desdites côtes, nervures et tiges de forte section ainsi que des débris (62).
- Distributeur selon l'une des revendications 19 ou 20, caractérisé en ce que ladite portion inférieure de la canalisation de transfert (38) comprend un moyen de récupération du flux de tabac (44) et un clapet mobile (43) commandé pour diriger le flux de tabac vers ledit moyen de récupération (44) lors d'un arrêt d'aspiration par ladite chambre d'aspiration (40) de la machine de fabrication de produits de l'industrie du tabac.
- Machine de fabrication de cigarettes (1), caractérisée en ce qu'elle est associée à un distributeur selon l'une des revendications 6 à 21.
