Abstract

L'invention concerne un brûleur à gaz pourvu d'une enveloppe (22) comportant une chambre de combustion dotée d'un orifice d'admission pour un gaz ou un mélange gaz-air et d'un orifice de sortie pour le gaz brûlé. Dans cette chambre de combustion est disposée au moins un corps de combustion (14) en matériau poreux, à l'intérieur duquel le mélange gaz-air peut être brûlé, ce corps de combustion étant subdivisé en au moins deux corps de combustion partiels (14.1, 14.2), et un dispositif de refroidissement étant adjoint à ce corps de combustion. On obtient un rendement élevé avec simultanément de faibles rejets de substances polluantes si le corps de combustion forme, au moins dans la région de la production de chaleur sur le côté faisant face au dispositif de refroidissement, un corps de combustion partiel (14.2) présentant une résistance à l'écoulement plus faible que le corps de combustion partiel (14.1) opposé au dispositif de refroidissement.
