Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a doctor blade for doctoring superfluous ink from the surface of a Printing form according to the preamble of claim 1.
A squeegee of this type, for example in the Gravure printing is used from US Pat. No. 4,184,429 known. The squeegee consists of a rear one Squeegee part, which is built into a holder, and off a front slat with some pressure on it rests on the surface of the printing form. The slat is much thinner than the rear squeegee part (its thickness is about half the thickness of the rear Doctor part). The advantage of this squeegee is that when the surface of the printing form is worn interacting front contact zone this Touch zone in their for the required Print quality necessary size or geometry if possible remains unchanged and unaffected until the entire Slat width is consumed or worn. The constant geometry in the contact area and hence the constant squeegee pressure make a manual Readjustment of the contact pressure is superfluous and enable a constant print quality.
Even with these squeegees there is a risk that the Surface of the printing form, the uppermost for gravure forms Chrome layer, worn or damaged by the squeegee becomes. In addition, the squeegee is also subject to wear exposed. The steel doctor blade / chrome layer tribology was always problematic. To fix of these disadvantages is a proposal from DE-A-28 17 964 known, a lubricant in the squeegee itself embed that appears in the touch zone and the friction between the squeegee and the Printing form surface reduced. This solution has the Disadvantage that the embedded lubricant Properties of the squeegee, for example its elastic Behavior. In addition, this is Solution technically difficult and expensive.
It is also to reduce squeegee wear known to use the squeegee in the area of the lamella to coat wear-resistant material. This solution however increases the risk of wear and tear Damage to the surface of the printing form.
The same problem arises with narrow ones Squeegees, made of a thin, between two support plates clamped and over the entire width of the squeegee constant thickness sheet are formed.
The present invention is based on the object to create a squeegee in which the wear of the Surface of the printing form and doctor blade wear be significantly reduced without losing the properties the squeegee will be affected.
According to the invention, this object is achieved with a doctor blade solved the features specified in claim 1.
The doctor blade according to the invention has the advantage that the Wear on the printing form surface reducing coating retrofitted to the squeegee manufactured as before is applied, which is technically essential is easier and cheaper than that already mentioned solution according to DE-A-28 17 964.
It is particularly advantageous to inject the lubricant particles to install a layer in which the Wear of the squeegee-reducing particles wear-resistant material are available. Such Coating causes a particularly effective reduction squeegee wear and an increase in service life the squeegee, and yet protects the printing form surface Wear and tear.
Further preferred configurations of the invention Squeegees form the subject of the dependent claims.
The invention will now be described with reference to the drawing explained.
Es zeigen rein schematisch:
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2

- Fig. 2
- greatly enlarged a coated part of the doctor blade according to FIG. 1 in cross section.
rechtwinkligen Ebene - aufweisen.1 is a doctor blade 1 from a rear
beschrieben. The doctor blade 1 is with its rear
In order to wear those in contact with the doctor blade 1

As the example according to FIG. 2 shows, the
The
Beim dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel sind beide Seiten
3a, 3b des vorderen Abschnites bzw. der Lamelle 3
beschichtet.
In the illustrated embodiment, both sides are

But it would also be possible to use one of the pages 3a, 3b made of lubricant or lubricant particles containing coating and the other side with a the particles of a wear-resistant material to have coating.
The coating according to the invention could also be used with doctor blades Find application, for example from US Pat. No. 5,638,751 are known. With these squeegees is between the interacting with the surface of the printing form front section (reference number 18 after US-PS-5,638,751) and the rear squeegee part (reference number 14) an intermediate part (reference number 16) arranged, the thicker than the front section and thinner than the rear Squeegee part is. The front one could also use these squeegees Section in the manner described above be coated.
Schichten bestehen. While in the drawing (and also in US Pat. No. 5,638,751) the rear squeegee part and the front section (or also the intermediate part 16 according to US-PS-5,638,751) in one piece are formed, the rear part of the doctor blade coated according to the invention from two or several superimposed and interconnected Parts or layers exist.
Also narrow squeegees, made from a thin one, between two Support plates clamped and across the entire squeegee width a sheet of constant thickness is formed, can with the coating according to the invention be equipped.
