Claims (12)
- Vorrichtung zur Zuführung von Briefumschlägen aus einem Universaldrucker zu einer Maschine zum Falten und/oder Einstecken von Dokumenten in die Umschläge, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Mittel (22) zur Erfassung der Lage des Umschlags am Ausgang des Druckers und ein Mittel (26, 28, 30) zur Neu-Ausrichtung dieses Umschlags besitzt, um das Einstecken der Dokumente abhängig von der Lage zu ermöglichen, die durch dieses Erfassungsmittel bestimmt wurde.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Erfassungsmittel einen Detektor aufweist, der eine Vorderkante des Umschlags erfaßt.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Erfassungsmittel außerdem Mittel (24) besitzt, die eine Information über die Ausrichtung des Umschlags liefern.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mittel zur Neu-Ausrichtung eine Drehscheibe (26) aufweisen, deren Drehung in einer Ebene die Verschiebung des Umschlags von einer ersten Lage entsprechend seiner Lage am Ausgang des Druckers in eine zweite Lage ermöglicht, in der die Dokumente in den Umschlag gesteckt werden können.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Drehung der Drehscheibe (26) durch ein erstes Antriebsmittel (28) unter Steuerung durch ein Steuermittel (24) gewährleistet wird.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mittel zur Neu-Ausrichtung außerdem eine Gegenplatte (30) aufweist, gegen die die Drehscheibe sich mithilfe eines zweiten Antriebsmittels ((32) bewegen kann, um den Umschlag durch Einklemmen in Hinblick auf seine Drehung festlegen zu können.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie außerdem erste Fördermittel (14) zur Beförderung des Umschlags von einem Eingang der Vorrichtung bis zum Mittel zur Neu-Ausrichtung und zweite Fördermittel (16, 18) zur Beförderung des ausgerichteten Umschlags zu einem Ausgang de Vorrichtung aufweist.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fördermittel abhängig von der Lage des Umschlags betätigt werden, die von dem Erfassungsmittel bestimmt wird.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Erfassungsmittel außerdem Mittel (24) besitzt, die das Format des Umschlags liefern.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die ersten und zweiten Fördermittel von mindestens zwei parallelen Einheiten von Förderrollen (100, 102, 104, 106; 200, 202; 300, 302) gebildet werden, die von einem dritten Antriebsmittel (36) gesteuert werden, welches für die beiden Fördermittel gemeinsam vorgesehen ist, wobei die Förderrollen an zugeordnete Gegenrollen (110, 112, 114, 116; 210, 212; 310, 312) anliegen.
- Zuführvorrichtung nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens zwei Förderrollen vorhanden sind, die einen solchen gegenseitigen Abstand haben, daß der Umschlag stets erfaßt wird.
- Maschine zum Falten und/oder Einstecken von Dokumenten in einen Briefumschlag, die eine Zuführvorrichtung nach einem beliebigen der Ansprüche 1 bis 11 enthält.
