Definitions
- the invention relates to a watercraft with a stabilization device, as it is are known in the prior art, for example in the form of beam fins, to a Watercraft, e.g. a cruise ship to stabilize in heavy waves.
- the beam fins are designed so that they can be retracted or extended. you will be moved outwards in weak waves, but must be driven in strong Swell, which is also associated with a corresponding draft of the ship, be drawn in, otherwise they would break off. As a result, this is no longer the case strong waves completely desired stabilization effect.
- the invention has for its object in a generic watercraft to improve the stabilization, especially in strong waves.
- Keel stabilizing plates act like wings and parallel to the imaginary one Water surface run, which also causes the ship to rise and fall effectively prevents increased swell.
- Stabilizing plates can be provided directly on the keel when the ship is built but it is also possible to retrofit the stabilizing plates.
- An embodiment of the invention provides that the stabilizing plates with a Cavity are equipped. This ensures that the stabilizing plates are not are heavier than water and therefore no additional swimming load or a additional weight must be added. When the ship runs empty the cavities can also be flooded, so that a greater draft with improved stabilization can be achieved.
- the Stabilizing plates are pointed in the direction of travel. That makes a better one Water displacement effect or improved slipperiness, which makes the ship glides more easily through the water.
- Another embodiment of the invention provides that the stabilizing plates the fuselage can be folded. This prevents e.g. when driving on shallow water, the stabilization plates then folded in or damaged be demolished. It is also advantageous when mooring the ship on a flat the stabilizing plates.
- the stabilizing plates have integrated elevator.
- the elevator By adjusting the elevator, for example the the elevator on the port side and the elevator on the starboard side down, the ship can tip over, e.g. the charge should slip, counteract.
- the elevator can be from the Command bridge of the ship can be operated mechanically or electrically. It is but also conceivable that the elevator by appropriate facilities automatically maintain the vertical balance of the ship and by mutual Adjust a so-called level compensation of the ship.
- the stabilizing plates 6 in the embodiment according to FIG. 2 are stepless adjustable elevator 7 on. Elevator 7, from command bridge 8 are electrically or mechanically adjustable, enable the Ship leveling.
- stabilization plates 9 are on the keel 3 arranged, which are formed with a cavity 10, whereby on the one hand can achieve that no additional swimming load or no additional weight must be included.
- the cavities 10 in one Flood empty travel and thus reach a greater draft.
- the ship 1 shown in FIG. 5 has stabilizing plates 12 on its keel 3 which in the direction of travel according to arrow 13, i.e. are pointed at the front. This leaves the ship 1 slippery and it will have a better water displacement effect achieved.
- the stabilizing plates 14 are made from one behind the other Individual elements 16 assembled, the division level can be recognized by the dash-dotted line 15.
- a division of the stabilizing plates 14 and thus single-element construction is particularly to be provided if the stabilizing plates 14 according to FIG. 4 on the hull 5 of the ship 1 are foldable.
