Description

The invention relates to a drain fitting of a cistern according to the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.

From FR 2 678 300 A such a drain fitting with an in vertical direction liftable overflow pipe known, on the lower A sealing element of a drain valve is arranged at the end. The drain fitting contains a valve body and a float tank a float and at least one pull rod to choose from Triggering a large quantity flush or small quantity flush Lifting the overflow pipe. The float tank contains a first one Opening through which water flows out when a flush is triggered can, and further a second opening, which by means of a closure element is lockable, however, when the small quantity flush is triggered is open.

Furthermore, a drain fitting is known from EP 723 050 A, which is designed for small-quantity flushing and large-quantity flushing and a drain or bottom valve with a valve or overflow pipe contains. In two separate float tanks arranged one above the other a float is arranged. The lower swimmer remains locked when a small quantity flush is triggered by a bolt and the overflow pipe is only supported by the upper float, which is on the water contained in the cistern floats. To trigger the Large-volume flushing also releases the lower float, so that the overflow pipe, at the lower end of which the valve or its drain seal is arranged, is supported by both swimmers.

Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is the drain fitting of the type mentioned to the extent that the constructive Effort is reduced and nevertheless a functionally safe large or small quantity flushing can be carried out. The manufacturing effort and the number of components should be reduced. The installation the drain fitting in a cistern and, if necessary, necessary cleaning or Service work should be carried out in a simple manner.

Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt gemäß den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1.This object is achieved in accordance with the features of patent claim 1.

The drain fitting according to the invention is characterized by a simple structure few components. It is just a single float tank with a float provided in the upper area of the cistern or the valve body. At the The overflow pipe is triggered by the single float supported, and so long, until the water from a first unlockable Opening of the floating tank above has expired. The pull rod for the triggering of the large volume flushing is coupled to the overflow pipe and contains further expediently a spacer, via which the support of the Overflow pipe is done on the single float. About the size of the first opening taking into account the distance to the cistern floor, the outlet quantity of the Large volume flushing controlled. The float housing contains a second opening which is closed during the large quantity flushing and when the Small-volume flushing is opened. This therefore runs during the small quantity flushing Water from the float tank faster, so that the float sinks faster and the bottom valve of the cistern is consequently closed earlier than in the Large-volume flushing, so that ultimately less water is flushed out. The above Openings are expediently designed as separate openings, but can in Within the scope of the invention, the two openings also form a single joint Opening can be combined with two sections. The first section corresponds to the explained first opening for large-volume flushing, while the second section the second opening for the small quantity flushing together with the assigned Closure element serves. The outflow cross section is preferably the first Opening or of the first partial area smaller than the outflow cross section of the second Opening or the second section. In particular, the outflow cross section is second opening or the second opening partial area by a predetermined Factor larger than the outflow cross-section of the first opening or of the first partial opening area, in particular by a factor greater than 2, preferably greater than 4. Since only one Float and a float tank are provided, the manufacturing costs in Not inconsiderably reduced compared to previously known two-volume fittings.

Further developments and special refinements of the invention are in the subclaims and the following description.

Fig. 1 shows the drain fitting in the rest position, in which a sealing element 2 the valve seat of a drain or bottom valve not shown here Flushing cistern. The sealing element 2 is in a known manner at the lower end of a Overflow pipe 4 arranged, which occupies its lowest position in the rest position. The overflow pipe 4 is within a fitting housing 6 in the vertical direction or vertically movable in the direction of the longitudinal axis 8. The valve housing 6 is defined in the cistern, preferably with the drain valve mentioned firmly connected and thus has a constant orientation to the cistern on. The overflow pipe 4 is in the vertical direction when triggering a rinsing process raised and upwards from the cistern floor 10 schematically indicated here removed and is at the end of a rinsing process down into the illustrated Rest position lowered. The valve housing 6 has a bottom 10 Predeterminable, constant distance, while the overflow pipe 4 with the Sealing element 2 is raised when triggering a flush and at Completion of the rinsing process resumes the lower rest position shown.

The valve housing 6 contains a flange 12 at the lower end, which in particular is hood-shaped and in which the sealing element when a flush is triggered 2 can be moved into it. The valve housing 6 contains a lower part 14 and this upwards then an upper part 16, which is essentially tubular are formed and in which the overflow pipe 4 in the direction of the longitudinal axis 8 is movably arranged and / or guided. It is useful between the overflow pipe 4 and the inner surface of the tubular fitting housing 6 or its lower part 14 and upper part 16 an annular gap is present. It is essential that in the area of the lower part 14 no float tank and float are arranged, but that a single one Float tank 18 is provided in the upper region of the valve housing 6 or assigned in the upper part 16. The float tank 18 is useful for that Shaped upper part 16 and / or in one piece with the upper part and / or in total with the Fitting housing 6 is formed.

In the float tank 18, a float 20 is provided, which when triggered a flushing process in a known manner on the water of the cistern upwards floats. The float housing and also the one arranged movably therein Floats 20 are in the upper part of the cistern or in the upper area of the overflow pipe 4 arranged. By means of a spacer 22 which on the upper edge of the Floats 20 rests, this is held down in the rest position. The spacer 22 is coupled to the overflow pipe 4.

Fig. 2 shows the two-quantity drain fitting according to the invention after triggering a Large flush. To do this, when pressing one, was not shown here Trigger button a first pull rod 24 pulled up. The first tie rod 24 for the large quantity flushing is coupled to the overflow pipe 4, which is therefore also is raised in the position shown, so that the sealing element 2, the bottom valve opens and the rinsing water can flow out. With the first tie rod 24 is also Spacer 22 connected, and expediently in one piece, the lower end of the surface of the single float 20 rests. The float tank 18 contains Appropriately in its bottom 26, an opening 28 through which that in the float tank 18 water can flow out while at the same time through the drain valve the rinse water flows out. The flushing volume is dimensioned accordingly Opening 28 controlled so that the floating of the float housing somewhat takes longer than the flushing water drains through the drain valve. Once the Float tank 18 is almost empty, the sealing element 2 has the valve seat reached and the bottom valve or drain fitting is closed again.

Fig. 3 shows the drain fitting after triggering a small-volume flush, for which the second pull rod 30, for example by pressing a trigger button, in the illustrated Position has been pulled up. The second tie rod 30 has one Driver 32 for a cam 34 of the first pull rod 24. When lifting the second Pull rod 30, the cam 34 rests on top of the driver 32 and as a result the spacer 22 and the overflow pipe 4 are raised upwards. The The area above the cam 34 is free or contains the pull rod 30 there Small volume flushing a slot 36 in which the cam 34 when lifting the first pull rod 24 for large-volume flushing can be moved upward without to raise the second tie rod 30.

According to the invention, the second pull rod 30 is a closure element 38 second opening 40 of the float tank 18 coupled. The closure member 38 is Conveniently designed as a slide, which when lifting the second tie rod is also raised and the second opening 40 opens. In a convenient way the second tie rod 30, the driver 32 and the closure element 38 are in one piece formed as a single component. In order to drain the To obtain water for small-volume flushing is the outflow cross section of the second opening 40 by a predetermined factor larger than the outflow cross section the first opening 28. A factor greater than 2, preferably greater, has proven to be expedient 4, proven.

The closure element or the slide 38 are preferably arranged in a chamber 42, which from the interior of the float tank 18 on the inside is separated by an inner chamber wall 44. This chamber wall 44 contains on her lower end, the second opening 40. In this particular embodiment, the Chamber 42 in the bottom another opening through which, if the second opening 40th is released, the water can flow out of the float tank 18. This further opening 41 is always fully open.

Furthermore, a guide bar 46 for the pull rod or the is in the chamber 42 Slider 38 provided. The guide bar 46 and also the chamber wall 44 are arranged substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis, creating a good vertical Leadership is guaranteed. The chamber wall 44 and the guide bar 46 are also like the float tank 18 in one piece and integrally with the valve housing 6 educated. The radially inner chamber 42 is open at the bottom, so that at opened second opening 40 the water from the float tank 18 unhindered can flow down. It can be seen that in the case of small-volume flushing, the Water from the float tank 18 faster than with large-volume flushing flows out, because the water not only through the opening 28, but also through the second opening 40 can flow out. The float 20 consequently sinks more quickly below with the result that the sealing element 2 rests earlier on the drain valve and the Flushing is ended prematurely and a predeterminable remaining amount in the cistern remains.

Fig. 4 shows, similar to Fig. 3, a further embodiment, according to which the float tank 18 has an opening 48 in the bottom, which in two sub-areas 50, 51 is divided. The right part 50 according to the drawing is permanently open while the left portion 51 as shown in the drawing by means of the closure element 38 if necessary is blocked or opened, as indicated by the dashed line 52. The second pull rod 30 is in the position after triggering the small quantity flush shown in the raised position, in which the second partial area 51st the common opening is open. For large-volume flushing, which is done by lifting the first pull rod 24 is triggered, the water flows exclusively through the always open section 50. Here, the second section 51 is angled by means of the Part 54 of the closure member 38 kept closed. After lifting the second tie rod 30, the second portion 51 is released, so that Water from the float tank 18 considerably faster than with large-volume flushing flows out and consequently the rinsing process is ended prematurely. The chamber wall contains a recess 56 through which an always open connection with the remaining area of the interior of the float housing 18 is made.
