Abstract

Bei einer Walzstraße (1) mit einer Warmwalzgruppe (2), dieser vorgeordneten Öfen (3,3') und mit mindestens zwei Stranggießmaschinen (4,4') sowie Scheren (5,5') vor und gegebenenfalls hinter den Öfen (3,3') soll in der Warmwalzgruppe (2) gewalzt werden, ohne daß in kurzen Zeitabständen das Vorband neu eingefädelt werden muß. Dazu wird vorgeschlagen, daß jeder Stranggießmaschine (4,4') ein Ofen (3,3') großer Länge zugeordnet ist, daß die Öfen (3,3') quer verschiebbar ausgebildet sind und aus den Stranggießlinien (11,11') in die gemeinsame Walzlinie (12) verfahrbar sind und daß die Öfen (3,3') in Längsrichtung in Segmente (6 bis 10 und 6' bis 10') unterteilt sind, wobei die Segmente (7 bis 10 und 7' bis 10') einzeln und unabhängig voneinander quer verschiebbar sind.
