The protective cover 19 is advantageously made of plastic, transparent on part of its surface, and closes the lamp by fitting on the part upper 7 of the housing. The housing advantageously comprises, as shown in the FIGS. 6a and 6b, flexible tongues 20 cooperating with the protective cover 19 in view of making a connection with a degree of freedom in rotation with the latter. In se straightening, the flexible tongues 20 are supported on a lug 29 formed on the cover 19 restraining this last prisoner. Figure 6a shows a partial sectional view transverse of the lamp at the level of the lug of the cover, and FIG. 6b a section along the line IV-IV of Figure 6a. The hooks 28 are held in position by the cover 19, which can turn on itself without being released. The cover 19 advantageously comprises an opaque part serving as a reflector 14, and can be oriented as desired, constituting thus means of orientable reflector. Holes 10 in the hood, as shown in Figure 2, provide ventilation for the lamp.
