Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Wassererhitzer mit einem Brenner, einer Brennkammer und einem Wärmeübertrager, der als Lamellenblock mit hindurchgeführten Wasserrohren ausgebildet und in die Brennkammer ausgangsseitig eingesetzt ist, ferner mit einem von den Lamellen nicht besetzten Strömungsquerschnitt für das Verbrennungsgas.
Es wird vorgeschlagen, daß der von den Lamellen (14) nicht besetzte Strömungsquerschnitt durch einen zwischen dem Wärmeübertrager (12) und einer Wand (20) der Brennkammer (10) vorgesehenen definierten Spalt (22) gebildet ist, der im Bedarfsfall durch ein in den Spalt einsetzbares Steckteil (24) abdeckbar ist.
